Nux Vomica: Need information
Ive read all over the web that Nux Vomica is very dangerous and highly poisonous. I have a product coming in soon that has Nux Vomica 10X as an ingredient. Its a smoking cessation product. Im kind of scared to take this because I do not want any side effects or death from it! Also, if it is ok to take, then will I be able to smoke or vape while taking it because Im planning to wean over the next few weeks. Thanksnicole74412 on 2015-11-07
This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Nux vomica is poisonous in crude form. When potentized, it is not dangerous provided that the quantity taken is within the prescribed limits.
In lower potencies, it is known to be very effective when giving up the habbit of smoking along with caladium.
30 and 200 potency is used in stomach disorders and when a person has used too many allopathic medicine.
In short, nux v 10x is perfectly safe, but daily dose should be in accordance to the instructions on label or lesser than that.
Regards
