Stress and depression

My husband is 38 yrs old. By profession, he is a software engineer and is at good position. He is very stressed. He gets irritated sometimes even without any cause and stats finding faults in others and later on realize the same also. In office also, he gets involve in argument with others an later on says sorry. He does not sleep well at night for the last one year. 5 days back, he resigned from his job saying that he will do something else and cannot continue with the job. he always feels lonely. at home on weekends, he spends most of his time in pretending that he is sleeping which actually he is not. sometimes he talks to me for hours and says that it relieve the stress and at the next moment he says he is alone. Is it sign of depression. He is not ready to discuss the problem and consult doctor as well. pls advice how can I help him. which medicine will work.

One more query is there. "only one dose of Nat mur 1M by 2 drops or 4 pills" this dose is to be given once daily or only once in a week.

Hi,

He means only ONE time for nat mur.
That one dose can have effects for at least 30 days.

Sometimes dr is busy, so I know you want to get going on this.

Pls explain "start aurum met 30 2 drops mixed with 1/2 cup of water and take 1 spoon thrice in a day"

Does it mean 1 spoon thrice from the same 1/2 cup water or make the solution everytime?

can he take 2 drops directly or can take by adding it to small sugar balls.

Pls advice.

Mixing in water gives more strength to remedy than taking dry as in sugar pills.

You can take from medicinal solution itself as next dose..bug be sure to stirr well everytime you take it... Also should be closed well..better to be dissolved in a bottle..with that amount of water..

Please report here..the changes..

Response to the questions:

1.which weather he can tolerate well?which he cant?

He likes all seasons except summers. and enjoys spring.

2.how is his sweat?

Sweating is normal. Not too excessive.

3.special craving for salt/sweet/sour etc.?

as such no special craving but prefers sweet.

4.specific aversion to any food?

No

5.what will happen if you console him when is very much sad? feel better or worse?

initially he tries to hide his feeling saying he is ok. but slowly he starts talking and feels better.

6.do he often weep or tears out?

Fequency was 3-4 times a week in december-Jan

but very often now. (once after that)

7.is he very reserved,secretive person?

he is reserved and tries to be secretive but shares everything with me after sometime.

8.angry,sadness which is more?

He is sad most of the time and feel fear also as he has resigned from his job. If I poke him why you are sad...he gets irritated. To hide his sadness, he expresses anger.

9.any other complaints in stool,urine,sleep,appetite,thirst ?

he sleeps hardly for 1-2 hr at night.

Nowadays his BP remains near 130/100 in the morning and normal in the evening.

no other problem with stool,urine,sleep,appetite,thirst

10.headache,nausea,vomiting,mouth ulcer,gas trouble occasionaly?

sometimes headache.
thyroid, sugar everything is normal.

feel tired and lethargy all the time.
