This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
The answers are beside your questions below

Stop the medicine.By now,you should have completed three doses. I completed the last dose this morning.

When does the pain start? What time? It never seems to go away but is worse upon waking, no matter what time I get up

Yours is a chronic problem, and you have to expect slight worsening of the problem, which is called aggravation,in homeopathic parlence. After a few days, the pain should become less.

Are you able to attend to your normal duties? Yes!

Pl.try to give an hourly resume of your problems, which will help us a lot,in deciding next course of action.Keep a diary, and record and post the next day. I will do.

I also notice that I seem to dwell on all issues no matter how large or small, I am holding on to them.

This symptom-pain worse on waking up-is it there prior to your taking hydrochloric acid?

Murthy

Yes!

While taking hydrochloric acid, how is the pain?

Monday’s update:

I woke up with the same symptoms as the day before the back and cecum valve pain at the same levels and the bloating the same. One thing I did notice over the past 4 days is that my tongue is coated with a white film and has a little sour taste and that is from waking to going to bed. This is not as evident when I am eating or drinking but comes back shortly after.

Is the pain maximum when you wake up,irrespective of the time you wake up?

When does it get reduced?

Compared to morning, how do you feel in the evening?

Murthy

bandarbabu2000 last decade
Is the pain maximum when you wake up, irrespective of the time you wake up? Yes, it seems that when my mind in unoccupied I feel the pain more.

When does it get reduced? When I get up and start moving around or focus on the day’s activities I pain seems to be less noticeable.

Compared to morning, how do you feel in the evening? In the evenings I feel 50% better than the mornings, however, I find when I consume meat (protein), something I crave, the pain comes on stronger as well as the bloatedness.

Tuesday’s update:

I woke up yesterday with about 40% improvement in the back and cecum valve pain, still bloated and congested in the right nostril. I had a very busy (mind full) day at the office, I did notice that when I was focused on a task that my breathing was shallow and sometimes I would not breathe for a bit, and in the evening the pain was back to normal.

Ok.Merisel.

You perhaps have not seen my question regarding hydrochloric acid.

As long as you took the hydrochloric acid, did the pain subside completely?

If some pain was there, despite taking hydrochloric acid, was it worse,on waking up?

Murthy

bandarbabu2000 last decade
When taking the hydrocloric acid the pain was reduced by 90% but did not go completely go away. It is always worse on waking, so if it is reduced by 90% during the day it would be reduced by 50% first thing in the morning and always back and cecum valve pain together.

Merisel, are you there? What is the status?

Wednesday’s update:

Not much change to report. I woke up feeling 50% better in both the cecum valve and back, the day was quite good overall. The bloatedness is still strong, and I still have a white coating and slightly sour taste on my tongue.

When you started feeling bloated? white coating was always there? (before hydrochloric acid, before lyc)?

Astra2012 last decade
The bloatedness was always there with the pain in the cecum valve and back area. The white coating came on about 1 day after the Lyc

Hello Merisel
Murthy had to live on business trip - so it really is important that you write how you feel on day to day basis. Please continue-although I will be here-meanwhile.

lycopodium was selected on the basis of what we knew, but of course it might not be "it"-the point is to find the right remedy which will cure you. Sometimes it happens that the cure is immediate-but usually in acute diseases. In chronic the response varies a lot and makes it difficult to decide if the remedy is right.

on Monday it will be a week since your last dose of lycopodium - that day we will decide on the next step-but before that time please write your updates. We are interested not only in your physical symptoms but also your energy level, sleep and mood.

Thursday’s update:

I woke up at 6:00 am to go to the bathroom at this time I felt no pain in either the cecum valve or back areas, but did feel some discomfort in my colon area (transverse) and I was bloated. After urinating I went back to bed. Upon waking, one hour later, the pain in both areas came back and more intense than prior to taking the Lycopodium. The pain was that intense for a couple of hours and then it was reduced by about 50%. The day was fairly good. This week my anger level was much higher that before I took the Lycopodium. I noticed that I lost my cool at least once a day, earlier in the day before noon and usually after supper hour. At about 8:30 pm I noticed the pains again and the bloatedness. I went to bed and had a very good sleep.

Friday morning: upon waking my backache was back and across the middle of my back and it was more intense that since starting on the remedy. I would say it is now 125% of what it was at the beginning of our correspondences. My cecum valve pain was still there but at the same level as 2 days before but was under shadowed by the back pain. I get frustrated when I get the feeling that I am going backwards, knowing that it sometimes gets worse first. My colon feels like it is constricted and holding everything. I usually have a bowel movement first thing every morning, but not this morning.

Thanks Merisel-keep posting.

yes, sometimes it gets aggravated=your symptoms get worse before they get better BUT if the remedy is right you should have a - at least transient -sense of well-being. Do you have it-or do you still feel drained and irritable?

In one of your post I noticed you mentioned hot shower - does heat help?

Astra2012 last decade
Funny you should say that, as I got up this morning I was tempted to have a hot bath. When I am in the bath I feel comforted, I usually stay in there for at least an hour. Once I get out I have the same feeling all over. Today I feel, although it was better fro the past 2 days and my energy level is a bit better than before but at a 61/2 out of 10.

Sorry if I just can't find it: how is your thirst? For what?

Do you have apple cider vinegar? (or at least any vinegar)? 1 tbsp of it to half glass of water should ease your pain.Try it.

Astra2012 last decade
We were posting at the same time-if it's better do not try that vinegar-it would really confuse us.

Astra2012 last decade
My thirst is not strong, I could go a day with something warm to drink in the morning, I don't like my drinks too hot. When I remember to have a drink I would usually have a drink of bottled water at room temperature

I will buy some apple cider and take 1 tbsp in each glass of water I have. I will let you know if I have any changes.

No Merisel-if the applle cider eases your pain we will not know if this was not lycopodium!
I wrote it after having read about 125% of pain etc and I just felt very sorry. But if the pain lessened maybe lyc kicked in? See, we have to know to decide on Monday if
1. lyc was right and we just have to give it more time (I don't think it needs redosing)
2. lyc was wrong and you will take another remedy (arsenicum album)

So if it is better-please do not take vinegar.

Astra2012 last decade
I need to be clear of your instructions to ensure I am following it correctly. Are you saying that I should take be taking Arsenicum Album now? Or should I continue to wait to see if Lycopodium is causing an improvement? If I do either of these then I don’t know when to take the apple cider vinegar.

Forget my last post.
Just watch you reaction and rely it to us here.
do not take vinegar if the pain lessened.

Astra2012 last decade
Just to make sure I didn't confuse you (actually I was thinking aloud "talking" to Murthy).

Post everyday how do you feel.
That's all!

Astra2012 last decade
Will do. Right now I feel very bloated.
