I just wanted to have a glance ,before I leave and saw your post.
Good that you took Paeonia. That is the one to try, in stubborn cases. But, may not help all the time.
I shall be back, most probably on 5th/6th.Meanwhile just try to relax, whatever way you can.
We will review the whole case, once again, after my return.

Murthy;
I have been doing fairly well, however, I am still having the sinking feeling in my heart from time to time. Also my colon is active gurgling and sensitive as if it has acid in it. I am trying hard to shut down my mind after I leave the office, but finding it hard to do.

I will do the entire update later today, but I just wanted to update you on my condition over this weekend.
I woke each day feeling tightness in my back, colon (holding on to everything). I find that I feel full in the stomach area for most of the day. Yesterday 2 hours after eating I noticed this sensitivity.
I am still having the sinking feeling in my heart from time to time. I am not enjoying this feeling, however I do recall some years ago when I was on Nux when I got up to 1m I got this same feeling. Should I take a 1m of Nux to relieve this feeling?

Still working on the update for you.
I took the Nux 1m last night and woke up feeling good overall. However, at 10:30 am I am noticing my colon holding on to everything. I have a backache that is about 30% of my first postings.

Murthy, Below is the second update as per your request;
1.What is the main reason you need treatment?

I am glad you are very candid with your report. I have been suspecting you slipped back, and you are confirming it is true.
Now, I have to review, why you stopped improving, after a while.
This may take about a week's time.
Meanwhile let me know the situation after you complete three doses of Nux 1M.
If you stopped taking your early morning water, please resume. It will help you a lot.
I strongly advise going for an all fruit diet, for dinner, before sunset, and eating nothing afterwards. You try it atleast for a week, and let me know.

I never have liquors or alcoholic beverages, other than a small amount of wine from time to time.
I usually refrain from Cocoa, but do have chocolates from time to time, but not in great quantities. I drink Jasmine tea and I am not sure if it contains caffeine.
Update: I have taken the 3 doses of Nux 1m, I found after the first night of taking it I felt great and it has been that way up to now. I only had a slight backache this morning upon waking, but as you know it improved as I moved around.
I will stay away from the raw fruits and vegetables.
You have nailed down my condition, nice stuff.

I was not paying much attention, when you kept on saying about your closed ileo cecal valve, as homeopathy doesn't bother much about the cause, but concentrates on only symptoms.
But, having a definite causation, will definitely help in nailing down the remedy.

"Hi I am having a problem with the iliocecal valve it is causing swelling and discomfot as it is a mechanical thing could homeopathy help in ay way to relieve the symtons also it stops me going to sleep as it causes wind and is a problem I am half awake most of the time. I do exercise 4 times a week so it is not caused through inactiveity. Thanks for your input .
A: Apologies for not having replied to your original question. The only thing that I have come across that seems to be good for Ileocecal Valve problems is Applied Kinesiology . They have a technique whereby you place your hand in the r ight iliac fossa and exert pressure up towards the left hypochondrium and this sometimes frees it. I would also recommend that you take a probiotic such as Bioacidophilus and garlic plus from Biocare to try and change the flora in the gut. As far as homeopathy is concerned I don't know any remedies specifically so therefore it would be a question of going simply on the symptoms so you could consider remedies such as Colocynth, Nux vom, Carbo veg, Lydopodium and so on or go and see a homeopathic physician for constitutional treatment.

Are you ever told of the procedure to release the valve ...mentioned above?
I remember having you told me something similar.
Anyway, we will not leave this, and will sail together.

Yes, my chiropractor would usually press my iliocecal valve and massage it upwards ad it would usually release the valve. But it keeps coming back.

i know this procedure is sometimes used with a gentle anti-clockwise circular movement rather than upwards - you must be lying down with knees bent, knees/legs in a raised position when this is done.

Wow!A lot of wonderful work gone on here and I'm sure it will continue to progress. My only thoughts at the moment are the possible use of an intercurrent bowel nosode? I do not use these often but feel one could help here?

I have not gotten rid of the spastic Ileocecal valve, I have been very bloated and having the feeling of being congested in my GI area. Feels like tight sinus congestion. I also have the back ache on my right side every morning.
I gave in last night and took Nux 200C at bed time and I woke feeling 50% better but still uncomfortable.
I would also like to speak to you about my son.
I hope all is well with you.

Hi Merisel,
Writing on this thread after a long time, but I am following every single post on this.
I was wondering how you were doing, as you stopped posting here since the last few days.
Could you please give us a summary of the last month (your complaints and treatments)?
Did you take Nux 200 single dose last night?

For the past month I have been experiencing the Ileocecal valve sensitivity. It appears to be getting stuck in the closed position quite frequently. This brings on a very bad backache, especially upon waking.
I have seen my chiropractor and she provides the similar massage to release it but it is short term. My digestion is also suffering I am always feeling full. I am craving meat, I love to eat meat, I find meat also seems to play a role in my Ileocecal valve sticking shut.
Today, I have a burning sensation in my Ileocecal valve area with much discomfort.

I've been reading your posts and recommend you try a few things.
1) Castor oil pack over the entire abdominal area, including liver, gall bladder, spleen, pancreas, transverse colon and ileo-caecal valve. Castor oil helps to relax the perineal diaphragm and to soften harden stool. Do this everyday (for about 1 hour each) for 5 days.
2) 1 tsp. psyllium seed in water, 5X per day. Drink plenty of water with the psyillium as it expands.
3) when things have loosed up a little, apply an enema. I would recommend a quart or two of water. Eject when necessity arises.
4) see an energy worker (polarity therapist) as you seem to have some unresolved emotional issues tied to the loss of your parents. Emotions get stagnated in the negative pole of the body, namely the perenial area. You need to work through these in order for the body to function properly. Normally every physical symptom is rooted in an energetic imbalance. You may try yogic postures that focus on opening up the hips.
5) and most important -- you should reduce the acidic foods in your diet. This includes meat (uric acid), refined starches, sugars, caffeine, etc. Give your body what it requires (organic mineral salts) and the body knows how to do the rest. Allow the infinite wisdom of the body to do what it does best -- seek and maintain homeostasis. Hope this helps!
