LM Potencies

Dear All,
Perhaps the senior members are aware of this, however I thought this was an interesting article.

Mr. Murthy,
If you are out there, my condition has finally improved. Two things I noticed:
1) The multivitamin I was taking had green tea extract. This was causing 'Nux' like symptoms - primarily ineffectual bowel movements.
2) I tried a single dose of LM potency Nux. The pill really was the size of a pin head. I used the methodology empolyed in the article - using a wet dose for LM - and felt an immediate effect. Within a week I am feeling much better. This is after 8 months - yes, thats 8! - of suffering all sorts of aggravations.

I believe the tea extract was compounding the situation and the LM dose of Nux set straight the initial aggravation. It may be empirical conjecture, but hell, it seems to have worked! Many thanks to all on this forum who took the time and interest to look into my case. I hope I can just peruse the forum now as an observer!

Hi Kind

Really glad that finally you found the answer. I did notice that you got Dr.Luc's advice too.

I never handled LMs so far as I told you before and I realise that it is definitely a handicap. A good homeopath should be capable of using the whole range of scales and potencies.

I am familiar with Dr.Little's excellant article on LMs, but have to try it as yet. Dr.Luc too has comprehensive instructions on how to use them.

Your experience with LM makes me to understand what I have been missing out, and I will try them out in my practice, at the earliest.

Thanks for the feed back. I appreciate your perseverance.

Dear Mr. Murthy,

I have also recently started using LM potencies in my wife's treatment and I have also learnt about it from David Little's website. It is a very good way to treat hyper-sensitives (my wife surely is one).

The insight David Little provides on LMs in the articles on his website is very nice.

I can vouch for the results using those methods.

I have observed through my wife's treatment that the principle of minimum repetition still holds, whether they are LMs or wet doses of C potency.e.g. my wife requires repetion of LM1 , very small water dose , only every 2 weeks.

I would recommend David Little's methods very much.

Yes Sameer

While I never doubted the efficacy of LMs, so far I was thinking that with proper case management, one can get good results with 'C' potencies alone without resorting to LMs.

I was unable to resolve Kind's case with 'c' potencies, and this feed back really opened my eyes and I now realise that there are some cases which need LMs, and such cases can't be cured by 'c' potencies however hard you may try.

Your assertion that the minimum dose concept applies to LMs too is very correct.

Homeopathy doesn't allow automatic repetetions. The frequency of repetetion is an individual factor and varies from person to person.

I am really glad to have found another colleague on this forum who has proper understanding of the homeopathic concepts.

Dear Murthy,

Thanks for your kind words. I am just beginning to learn this beautiful art.

I look up to you as a person who knows what classical homeopathy really is. I look forward to your company on this forum.

Also, did you get a chance to have a look the thread about my niece.

If not please look at

It is interesting to see what happened :)

Warm Regards,
