Nat Phos is absolutely safe even for babies.
I would like to know the reason why you wish to use it for an 8 year old.
Have you tried controlling her diet and insisted that she has a daily exercise routine?

You recommend stopping all meds with the Nat Phos. Does this also include a multi-vitamin , vitamins and herbal supplements, teas, such as Green Tea, etc....

If you wish to use NP to reduce weight it is essential that you eliminate all other supplements in tablet form like vitamins which are you may be using today. Green Tea is OK but I would hesitate to use Herbal supplements.

She gets a bloated tummy quite frequently, so much so that a particular t-shirt doesn't fit her one day and then it is perfectly fine the very next day. Sometimes this varies from morning to evening. looks like a problem of water retention to me. As you mentioned that Nat Phos increases water discharge, so I wanted to give it a try.

Water retention is best treated with:
Apis M 6c in the Wet dose taken thrice daily.
The Wet dose of any Homeopathic remedy is made as follows:
Order the remedy in a 5ml Ethanol pack also referred to as Liquid Dilution in a bottle preferably with a dropper arrangement.
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from the nearest supermarket.
Pour out about 3cm of water from the bottle to leave some airspace.
Insert 3 drops of the remedy into the bottle and shake the bottle hard before you sip a capfull of the bottle or a large teaspoonful which is the dose.
Shaking the bottle hard is homeopathic succussion and this shaking must be done every time before sipping a capful of the bottle twice daily.
You can continue with the Arnica as this too will help the patient.

The homeo shops here sell natrium phosphoricum 6x in tablet form. they say it is the same as 'natrum'. Can I use the available medicine or is it any different?

I have found that Nat Phos 6x when used for the reduction of weight does not work when other remedies or drugs are also used. Coffee is also taboo.
You can take Apis 6c in the Wet dose to promote urination.

I did not mean narcotics when I referred to drugs. I meant drugs prescribed by doctors.

All X potency of all remedies (Nat Phos 6x) must be taken in the tablet form.
They will not work in the Wet dose.

HI,Iam from India.Age 35,height 5ft 8inch.weight 97kg. I was using phytalocca berry for 1 month but it was of no use .From today I have started Nat Phos 6x,2 tab thrice daily.I take valium 5mg for sleeping before bedtime every day as I have a very stressful and hectic work schedule.Can anyone please tell me if I am taking the right dose?

Nat Phos cannot and will not interfere with your periods and cannot be blamed for your present problem.
What potency of Nat Phos did you use?

I note that you are taking Nat Phos 6x to reduce your weight but your weight will not be reduced as you are also taking Valium to sleep. You are invited to type 'Danger of using Valium' into Google to read the side effects of using this powerful drug on a long term basis.
