Wheezing & Tummy Aches in 5 Year Old _{Page 3 of 7}

Hi Dr., Not sure of our starting date of reporting back in one week but it has been about that or a few days past. What I have noticed in my son for the last week was the last post was some wheezing and it was over next morning. Then he had some cold sores on his mouth a few days after and they are healing, scabs now, but still there. Three days ago my husband noticed his Left ear get red again while they were at the bookstore, the red ear has happened now 4 or 5 times, the first time was the summer and it was very swollen but the other times just very, very red. Yesterday we went to pumpkin patch and had a hotdog, he normally doesn't eat bread but he wanted it and I am trying to let go of my control where food is concerned so I let him have it, also had some apple cider. He didn't react right away but the 35 minutes or so it took us to get home he started coughing. It continued to get worse, his body got very hot and he went to bed at usual time. He slept with me and was very hot all night and coughed now and then. This morning he is still coughing, it got worse when he attempted to eat a banana and some dry buckwheat cereal. I have given him some lemon, maple syrup tea and he had it when he woke up but now refuses to drink anything. Also I let him eat half a red apple 2 days in a row and he had lots of gas. In the past he got very emotional and sometimes broke out around eyes if he ate apple but I didn't see the emotional stuff happen or breaking out around eyes this time. We continue to get cranial sacral work once a week and last week the therapist worked around T12 and felt some release. I mentioned how it slept many nights with knees up as if that helped his back feel better or take pressure off back. Since that therapy session he hasn't slept with knees up. He has another appt. tomorrow because his chest is still very concave and she thinks he is really ready to move forward so we will see how tomorrow's appt. goes.

Hi Dr.,

My son doesn't have a fever now just now and then has a deep chest cough and seems a little less energetic and has been sleeping more the last few days. Should I still give him the Belladonna? Also I don't have the calc carb 200C on hand. I only purchased the Hepar Sulph 30C and Silicea 200C for him in the past. So this is something I will have to order. I need to also order my remedy and my father's. My father is out of state so I will need to send to family and have them adminster it. Not sure if he will be willing to do it, can be very stubborn but all we can do is try.

Hi Dr., Symptoms changed today. My son is coughing more, kind of wet and sounds like from the chest but nothing coming up. He is stuffy and right now trying to take a nap and complaining of his Left cheek hurting. We are all sick, myself and husband, coughing up yellow mucous, deep in chest, fever and body aches. I am feeling somewhat better but my head is achy. Haven't made it out of the house yet to get Belladonna and just wanted to check in in light on these new symptoms to see if we still go the same course.

Oh yeah, wanted to share that the second day of his fever he coughed up a hand full of clear, hot, mucous...I caught it with my hand so it was a palm full.

If I go out and get belladonna should I wait until the morning to give it to him. And since we are all having the same symptoms is it something me and my husband could take also?

Hi Dr., My son just came into the room where I am typing and he is not feeling well at all. Complains of his neck hurting, a little while ago his Left cheek, he is coughing, deep from the chest but nothing coming up. Please advise! Thanks!

Hello Dr., Thanks so much for getting back to me quickly. I did purchase the belladonna and gave my son a dose of it this morning. He hasn't got his energy back yet, not eating much and still has the deep cough with nothing coming up. I just took him to a place with bounce houses inside, which he loves, and he was only able to bounce around for maybe 10 minutes before he just started coughing too much and said he was ready to leave. I didn't make a big deal out of it, said oh well we came and had fun for a bit.
Anything I should be doing to assist with his coughing? He has been out of school for 1 week, since they recommended they be back full strength before returning to school and I don't see him there yet. It is not a big deal about him missing school when his health is concerned but I find the more days he goes without going the more he doesn't want to go.

I am feeling better but my husband is still coughing alot and had headache last night. I gave him a dose of the hepar sulph and pulsatilla this morning. What should the frequency of these two remedies, once a day, twice a day, am and pm, etc.?

Hi Dr., Last night my son got very hot again. This morning seemed overall okay, still not eating too much, not too much energy. Just now after eating a few bites and taking a bath he started complaining of a belly ache and the left side of his face (cheek) and ear hurts. He is not one to cry alot but he is crying non-stop, holding his cheek. Took him to toilet to see if he could poop, had a bowel movement about an hour ago and then just one small ball later and now the tummy ache and not able to poop. He is surely in pain because he doesn't stop crying. Last night he did say his cheek hurt but slept through the night. What can I do to help him?

He cried off and on for about an hour, saying his tummy hurt. Now and then I could hear his belly making noises. He layed on me in a chair for sometime and when he finally fell asleep he slept through the night. He is up now and eating and seems fine. I am keeping him home from school since I still hear the deep chest cough now and then and he just isn't 100% recovered from this cold/flu. Not sure about the cheek pain, I think it was just aching. He has complaining of his Left cheek hurting a few times, mainly when that left ear swelled up and turned red those few times. The lump nodes on back of neck are pretty big again, especially on Right side.
I just found a bottle of Calc carb 200c, I think I had it for me...don't know why I forgot about it. I think you wanted me to give my son one dose of that. So not sure if you want me to do that or not but I have it on hand if you need me to do that.

Hi Dr., It has been 7 or 8 days since I gave my son the one dose of Calc carb 200c. Didn't notice much going on during this week except he has a few raised areas on the right side of his face, not pimples but just areas you can see that is not smooth on his face. The Right sidee of the face is where most of his life we noticied the reactions with his face, eye, etc. on that side. He has a quite a bit more yellow earwax, which is not something he tends to have alot of most times. Last night when kissing him goodnight I detected the hint of some wheezing but he slept fine. Today he went for a cranial sacral therapy session and coming out of the session he was wheezing a little. The therapist stills notes some holding in the area of his chest but he is responding so well to this therapy she thinks we should come back in one month and see how things go during that time. I still don't have the remedy you suggested for him long time ago, the tuber??? can't remember the spelling but know I have the name in old posts. So what is the next course of action or do we wait until I get next remedy?

Yes, I believe my son is at a good place, probably an 8 on a scale of 1 - 10. I am comfortable waiting for the Tuberculinum bov1. I think the biggest issue is me and food. Getting over the fear that I have with my son eating certain foods. I attached alot of fear and beliefs that food was the culprit during the last few years. And while on one hand I see him eating foods I would before think were problematic I still have a hard time totally letting go. He wants to do things with dairy in them, butter and my first instinct is no, what will happen, what will I do if we are somewhere and he gets very sick....the fear. So that is my issue to deal with at the moment. We have Thanksgiving coming up and may go to grandparents home and we have never really allowed my son to eat the food most others eat. Well he eats similar things but we prepare them minus certain ingredients like butter, milk, etc. So I think do I let him make these choices and just let what happens happen and then deal with it or do I try to 'prevent' them. I guess I would feel some level of relief if I had remedies on hand to deal with any extreme reaction that he may have after eating or some major wheezing episode, etc. when we are in areas away from home.

But yes I am extremely pleased and grateful for the health and vitality my son has now and very thankful for all your help, guidance and patience with all my questions, comments, etc.

Hi Dr., I am searching online to find Tuberculinum bov1M and not having any luck. Most sites don't have it listed, those that do don't have an option to allow you to purchase it and some sites say must be prescribed by a doctor. So not sure how I am going to get my hands on this remedy.
Any suggestions? thanks!

My son is having some issues at the moment, cold sores on mouth popping up, little red ecezma spot on Right side of face, red spot with white pus bumps on his Right hand, below middle finger. (I just saw a picture of him at 2 years old and he had a red spot with white bumps in the exact same spot). I know we will get through this but just thought I would let you know. I think his emotional state has alot to do with it. He got very upset the other night because we were going to use his Spiderman shoebox for a Christmas church project. He then complained on his left side of face/jaw, eye hurting. He went to bed and woke up crying in the night and when I asked what was wrong he said 'I don't want you to use my Spiderman box'. I apologize for using it even though he had told me he didn't want me to, said I was sorry and he went back to sleep. So I really, really saw the emotional connection at that moment.We have also been allowing some foods we haven't eaten before in the last few days...and I think I need to hold off until I get the remedy.

Yes, I did give him a dose of Calc carb some days ago. Yesterday we I picked him up from school his eye on the Right side had red splotches all around it, and still a little patch of whatever (eczema) right under that eye. We went to bookstore and he was wheezing a little and in the hour time we were there he had two bowel movements (kind of soft and mushy). After we got home he had another bowel movement, this one had one piece light brown/tan about 1 inch long and another piece that was green. After all those bowel movements he seemed to feel better, stuff around the eye gone and spot on face gone also. He was wheezing when he went to bed and a little this morning but seems to be gone now. I gave him no remedies.
Thanks again! I have had no luck finding remedy but have a couple of homeopath in our area that I plan to call/e-mail and see if they have it or know how to get it.

Hi Dr., Had to go pick up my son from school today. They called and said he was wheezing and looking pale. He seemed fine when he left this morning but they said this happened after he was writing and erasing with chalk. He is crying alot, red in the face, coughed up some mucous and when I said point to what hurts he pointed to his tummy. I just gave him 4 pellets of bryonia alba....wasn't sure what is best at this time but he is very, very uncomfortable. please advise of any next steps and/or I will keep you posted on what happens throughout the day.
