Hi Dr.,

My son took a 3 hour nap yesterday, woke up feeling pretty good then went to bed at usual time. Woke up at 5:20am, had some food and when it was time to go to school he coughed a couple of times and didn't want to go to school. I took him anyway and we just had to pick him up at 10am because he was wheezing. I asked him when did he start wheezing and he said when he got to school. And I said do you think it has anything to do with you not wanting to go and he said yes because I didn't listen to him when he told me he didn't want to go to school. I am not sure how to balance when he is really sick and keep him home and when he is coughing here and there but I guess I will have to just take it day by day.
Should I give him anything for the wheezing?
Thanks!

Hi Dr.,

Forgot to mention about the pics. The bumps on his belly are just tiny scabs now and the leg as well. I have old pictures that show the kind of bumps he gets on his thumbs and will try to find that and send it to you. He has one on his hand now but it is a scab. The little bumps on belly were not the same as on the thumb. When he was young, maybe 2 years old or younger he had a really bad area of eczema on his bottom leg (I think same place and same leg he has been scratching) that we were told by ND was staph infection. We used some herbal salve and it eventually healed. Okay, will send pic as soon as I can and if they pop up again will take new photos.
Thanks!

Hi Dr.,

The wheezing only last about 45 minutes or so. He coughed a little. He was running around playing not long after that. I do notice the ear/cheek, Left side that keeps hurting him...that ear is full of yellow/brown earwax today.

Is it okay to drop in some garlic oil or olive oil to help loosen that up? The gland on that side still feels slightly swollen but he says it doesn't hurt.

Thanks!

ya it is alright to clear the wax with those oils, and is there any thing in school that is bothering him, because todays wheezing was not expected as he was not having any episode in the recent past and just the cough and he developes wheezing in school and precisely he did not want to go to school as well. just try in those grounds and see as well, but other wise since the wheezing is down now nothing had to be given really.
we will see how it goes.
Thanks.

Hi Dr.,

Gave him the dose of byronia before he went to bed. He slept good and up getting ready for school with no protest. He still has the thick yellow mucous coming out of Right nostril but other than that he seems to be doing great. Will let you know if we actually get the calc carb 1M today, it is suppose to arrive.
Thanks!

Hi Dr.,
My son is feeling better today. Made it to school with no issues. Hasn't had a bowel movement today, as of yet, but has smelly gas today. Still has the thick mucous in Right nostril, very thick and gooey but less today than yesterday. Overall in good mood, playing, happy, etc. I did receive the other remedy, calc carb 1M today.

Do we wait until this mucous stuff is over or do I go ahead and give him remedy number 1 tomorrow am?
Also wanted to let you know the size of the pellets (they didn't have liquid) are very different. The tub bov 1M are 3 times as big as the ones I usually get and the calc carb 1m are very, very tiny (never seen them so small). Not sure if that matters at all but just something I noticed.
Thanks!

Hi Dr.,

I think I posted info about receiving my sons on another post and not sure if it was overlook. I received the Calc carb 1M so now how both remedies. In other post I mentioned that the pellets are very different sizes and not sure if that matters or not. The Cal Carb 1M are very, very tiny pellets, on bottle says contents is 2 dr and the Tub Bov 1M are larger pellets, probably double in size of the Boiron pellets I buy at natural food store, on the label is reads Pills 007g

He still has very thick mucous coming out of nose, both nostrils but still more on Right side. Yesterday he went to school, we had a good day overall,he fell asleep around 5pm (before dinner) and slept until 6am. He is up and ready for school and in good spirits.

Just wondering if I should give the Tub bov 1m tomorrow morning?

Thanks for all the help, with understanding things and the prescription of the remedies for me and my extended family. It is greatly appreciated.

Hi Dr.,

Just wanted to give you an update with my son. For a few days so not noticeable symptoms and I have been freely letting him eat things I normally would not in the past. The other night we had fish sticks (battered lightly in wheat coating), yesterday he had McDonald's french fries which he has never had and he was excited more with the toy but liked the fries. However, last night some more cold sore bumps popped up on the Right corner of his mouth, he was scratching his legs a big part of last night and tossing and turning. Yesterday and today he was very adamant about not going to school. Yesterday I just said over and over get ready while I make your snack and he finally did. Today a different day, he wakes up at 4am and wants me to carry him to bathroom and says because he legs hurt so much. I told him he had not even tried so try to walk and I will go to bathroom with him which I did. He used it, got some cereal and ate a bit and went back to school. Woke up and went in to living room to play with Dad. Overall seems fine but doesn't want to go to school. So after I give him choice to go to school or if sick stay home but will have to be in bedroom, in bed all day until 12 when school normally lets out. He cries and cries, like a little fit (which isn't his normal). I finally go in and ask do you need anything and he wants me to read a book. I say I will read one story and then I must do my work and so I do. By this time he is rubbing his eys, the left one really red all around it and after I leave he comes out to use bathroom and had a bowel movement and overall seems much better.
Of course my first thought is food related. When we allow these foods, these things happen but I know they happen when these foods are not allowed also - so just very hard for me to totally not give food any value in the situation. My other thought is he is being allowed to voice his opinions, have more freedom, etc. things are coming to the surface so I think great but then I think how do I handle it best. The other thing is that he has had alot of very sticky gas which I think is his body not able to digest all these foods properly and if not what does that lead to in his body/mind.
The big thing coming up is Christmas at the family' house and the big meal. It stills leaves me uncomfortable because I don't see yet that my son can freely eat anything without some major issues, like dairy, so I think should I take all his food, let him pick and choose what he wants and just handle the side effects when they happen. But being 2 hours away from home, having him start wheezing or feeling terrible before he gets his presents and time to play wih his cousins just leaves me so anxious. What do I give if he should have an immediate reaction to something he eats (like wheezing, throat hurting, etc.)?
Thanks!

How is he doing now since morning? Hope there is no spells of wheezing or throat irritation, do not stop those foods, continue to give him all those foods we will see how it goes and if at all we get anything, then revert back to the old medicines, like ars alb for wheezing, pulsatilla for wheezing with yellow nasal discharge, bryonia for cough and constipation, and hepar sulph for throat irritation, wheezing and spots on the skin.
get back to me if something happens first.
Hope he will get through christmas without any episodes.
Thanks.

Hi Dr., He is doing fine now...other than being a little rude, kind of not listening to the rules about what shows not to watch, etc. I know that I do not have very clear rules and guidelines of our day, especially when things get thrown off such as thing morning not going to school. Having him in school half a day was really something that helped me have a somewhat plan of the day. So I am really seeing my lack of planning, having more structure and how it affects him so I guess it is something to continue to work on. He has alot of little rashy looking patches on his legs which he was scratching at last night and legs/skin on legs look very dry but he seems to be feeling much better. We are talking about the fun we will have tomorrow at the sing along at his school so I think he has full intentions on going.
Thanks for the recommendations of what to do 'in case' of any incidents and I will try to keep an open mind and heart and let things flow as they may.
Thanks.

Hi Dr.,

My son ate some chicken noodle soup out of my bowl on Wed. and said he liked it. Normally he says he doesn't like chicken and he wanted his Dad's apple. We let him have whatever he wanted. Later on that evening he belly was very bloated and my husband said he detected a little wheezing. He slept through the night and I noticied no wheezing yesterday. However, last night around 1am he was coughing and wheezing a little. Just tossed and turned, coughed for about 20 min. and went back to sleep.
He has very, very dry legs which normally isn't a issue and still scratching his legs off and on. Other than that all is well.
Happy Holidays!

Hi Dr.,

Yes there was a little wheezing and it passed. Then on Christmas day he really didn't show much interest in food. He did eat a few boiled shrimp (which he has had once or twice with no noticeable reaction), even though there were cakes and cookies he just asked if he could have his candycane. Then Sat. morning he was wheezing slighty and even told me I am wheezing a little do you hear it and I said yes and lets see how it goes and later not an issue. He is however scratching his legs alot throughout the night, last night it was his inner thigh then sometimes it is the lower parts of his legs but most nights this past week. Yesterday I was eating a little piece of chicken my husband had leftover and my son asked for some. I gave him a piece then he wanted more and later said I guess I do like chicken afterall, he had always in the past said he didn't like it.
He saw something on tv last night, something which has dairy in it and he said I want to try those, I've never tried those and asked could we and I said yeah we will try them one day. I am still withholding dairy. He really hasn't asked for anything with dairy in awhile except last night. He does occassionally ask if he can try pizza and I say one day, soon. I think since he is home from school this week I am more likely to let him try things if he asks but I always worry of the after effects and don't want to rock the boat when things are going well.
We had a great Christmas day. He was happy, social with his cousins and not scared of the grandpa dressed up as Santa as he was in the previous years:-)
Happy Holidays!

Thats good news and we will see how it goes, try giving him what ever he likes but in very small quantity, and we will see how he reacts to it.
Happy holidays to you as well.
Thanks.

Hi Dr.,

Just wanted to give you an update because I see some old symptoms appear in my son today. Last night we had some hushpuppies(fried cornmeal, usually contains eggs, onions, corn batter, maybe some wheat). He ate 2 and by the 3rd one he said I don't want any more of those, they are making my throat scratchy. He was rubbing his eyes a little before bedtime. Today his face has red splotches on Left side, he is sneezing off and on. Overall he is fine but like I said haven't seen these symptoms for quite some time. We are heading out to a place called Mygym for an hour of gymnastic activity which I know he could benefit from also. The cold kind of keeps us not moving as much as we would like to.
Thanks!

don worry about it, it is a good sign, how long it has been since we gave him tuberculinum and calc carb?
if the itchy throat and red spots persist then give him a dose of hepar sulph and then leave it he will be fine.
Thanks.

Hi Dr.,

We went over to friends house and played for a couple of hours. At the end of it his face was pretty red and I detected a little wheezing. He is wheezing some now.

It has been about 13 days those remedies.
Thanks!

Hi Dr.,

Also wanted to add his belly is somewhat bloated. He was wheezing so I gave him one dose of ars alb. The itchy throat was only last night but he did just mentioned his throat hurt a little right now before falling asleep and a few red splotches on face now. I will see how the night and morning goes.
Thanks!

Hi Dr.,

My son was wheezing all night. He fell asleep around 7:30pm but was up around 12, moaning some, scratching alot. His legs feel like sandpaper, dry and small little scabs from all the scratching that has been going on lately. He finally feel back asleep. He is still wheezing some this morning. We are suppose to go to a place this morning with indoor bounce houses and jump for 2 hours. I am concerned he won't be able to do much if he is wheezing. Can I give him a dose of ars alb this morning? I have to say the ars alb doesn't seem to work very quickly, and I know that isn't always case but should it work immediately or did we have something at one time that kind of worked quicker on the wheezing?
I am wondering about good oils for him. He has always had issues with different oils, reacting to them when he was younger. Says he doesn't like olive oil when I try to add a bit to his salsa. I question coconut oil since he seemed to react to it and does react if he eats coconut (gets itcy throat right away). The only thing we had some succes with is chia seeds and we would add to his fresh grapefruit juice. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hi Dr.,
My son had a very large, very loose looking stool, looked partly undigested. He is still wheezing and complains of his throat being sore. He has taken his shirt off and says he is hot, cheeks red, and has been scratching his left inside elbow (red). I think something is going on in Right hip, has been scratching top of booty on this side. When he was younger he had a little bit of a turned in foot on right side and was very noticeable when he rode a tricycle. Sometimes we do yoga poses and he says it hurts behind his knees, and if he trys to sit up from a laying flat on back has difficulty. He is now crying, moaning and says his throat hurts. I gave him one dose of hepar sulph last night around midnight and today 2 doses of ars alb 30c.
Should I give another dose of Hepar Sulph?
Thanks!

Hi Dr.,
I was updating you on my son's condition yesterday morning and had some computer issue and looks like you didn't get that post. He has been haivng different symptoms the last few days. On Sat. he wanted to eat a rice crispy treat at a bookstore, I let him. After one bite his Left side of face had red splotches and he stopped eating it and rubbed his eyes some. Later he asked to have it again and I let him and he seemed fine and then later wanted it again and eat some but then gave to his Dad because he said it made his throat itch. So next day he went to bookstore with his Dad and got another one of these treats, ate come of it off and on during the day. That night he entire left check was very swollen, he was rubbing both eyes alot and wanted wet cloths to put over them and later fell asleep. One day, not sure which one, his face reminded me of when he was smaller with eczema on his face. He would get red cheeks and a little red spot on chin, so this happened again for about a day. The night cheek was swollen I gave him a dose of hepar sulph. Yesterday afternoon/evening he started wheezing, slept through night wheezing and woke up wheezing. I gave him a dose of ars alb 30c. He is feeling fine overall, playing and such but can't send him to school wheezing, they would immediately call me and say he is wheezing since it is very noticeable but I think will be over soon. So this has been what has been going on for the last 3 days, reactions on face, wheezing but overall his general disposition is good and in pretty good spirits. Starting to be a outspoken 5 1/2 year old but that is to be expected.
Thanks!

Hi Dr.,
The wheezing is pretty strong right now. He didn't go to school today, not because he didn't feel good, he played around all day but the wheezing was constant. It seems to have gotten worse tonight and he is current sleeping on couch propped up on side of armchair. We gave him 2 doses of the ars alb 30c. Should I get the 200c, would it knock out the wheezing much quicker? With the reoccurence of things we saw on face do you think this is some deeper detoxing happening? It just always seems to come about with the new foods and I wonder is it issue with handling the foods but I sense with the popping up of the old splotches on cheeks and chin it is something deeper. Should I give him anything? Should I stop giving the ars alb 30c? Please advise. Thanks Much!

Hey sorry i did not get your posts,
Well the skin is coming up again, do not give him ars alb now, give him one more dose of calc carb 200 and then see what happens, if the wheezing continues then give him lobilia it should subside the attack.

Dr. Bagyavasan.k last decade
Hi Dr.,
The wheezing is over this morning. He is getting ready for school. He has already eaten this morning so I will wait and give calc carb tomorrow morning. Just wanted to make sure I made it clear about the skin thing. I saw the symptoms pop up on Saturday but they only lasted for a day. Okay will keep you posted.
Thanks!

Hi Dr., The wheezing has returned. Went to school for a couple of hours and just got called to pick him up. We have seen this before, whether at home or schoo, have a rough night of wheezing, it finally clears and feels better and then in a few hours it returns and then he feels better again. So I will give him the lobelia 30c and see how it goes the rest of the day.
Thanks!
