Hi Dr., The wheezing has returned. Went to school for a couple of hours and just got called to pick him up. We have seen this before, whether at home or schoo, have a rough night of wheezing, it finally clears and feels better and then in a few hours it returns and then he feels better again. So I will give him the lobelia 30c and see how it goes the rest of the day.
Thanks!

Hi Dr., I gave my son the dose of Calc carb yesterday morning. Within a few hours he had a very emotional outburst, crying and rubbing his eyes and broke out in little tiny bumps under eye. After snuggling and talking to him he was fine. He was upset about not getting a boy toy with his McDonald's fries a few days ago and have given me the girl toy but got mad when I made it talk. So finally I asked are you upset you didnt' get the boy toy and he said yes. So that was something that happened on Sunday with his Dad and he was still upset by it on Thursday.

Anyway main reason I wrote was he has those red places with some small blister bumps on his thumbs again. The right thumb has the small bumps and left hand just has a red place on it as of now, no bumps. I just noticied it this morning. Seems like that pop up under high stress.
Thanks!

Hi Dr.,

Just wanted to give you an update. On Friday I could still hear a little rattling in his chest but sent him to school and he stayed until 12 (he only goes half day). Over the weekend he has been fine. Still has the bumps on his thumbs but they are going away. His bowel movements tend to happen later in the day now versus first thing in am. He still has the fine scabs along inside of legs from past scratching but haven't seen him scratch in quite a few days. Yesterday he asked for vegan pizza, no cheese on it. We got it for him and he ate some but he wasn't that thrilled with it, he has had it in the past once or twice. We still haven't given anything with dairy, that we know of, but he hasn't asked for anything lately. He is still sligthly slumped just up in his shoulder area and I do notice he gets coughing now and then, itching in throat the other day, etc. So all in all doing well and we will see how it goes. I did give him that dose of calc carb a few days ago and I think I wrote about what happened within a few hours of receiving it but nothing to note other than the above. Hoping he will be able to be in school for a full week this week.
Thanks!

Hi Dr., Just wanted to let you know my son is wheezing. I let him have a apple juice box and just about anytime he has apple juice or apples he ends up wheezing. But maybe I just think this is so. Anyway he is wheezing, not terrible at this point. So should I give him a dose of lobelia when he begins to wheeze? Should I wait until it is too uncomfortable then give? Not sure of exact day of last dose of Calc carb but I think it was on the 7th, 4 days ago.
Thanks!

no don give him any medicine untill it gets bad, lets give his body chance to fight the wheeze.
If the itching and wheezing persist then give him a dose of hepar sulph.
Thanks.

Hi Dr.,

Okay, thanks for the quick reply. Just wanted to let you know the other symtoms, Right eye got very itchy and he rubbed it alot, got all red and a few tiny bumps appeared around the eye. On his left hand and wrist it got very red and I saw a few small bumps. Things are calming down a bit now so yes I will see how it goes and will not give any medicine unless it gets bad.
Thanks!

Hi Dr.,

I ended up giving him a dose of hepar sulph in a small glass of water when I went to bed. He was up coughing and scratching so I thought I should give it. When I went to bed he sat up in bed a couple of times and I could hear the sounds in his throat/chest, kind of like indigestion, when things are coming back up. He scratched his innner thighs for some 15 minutes, just constant scratching and also his head. He wanted to take off his pajama top, not very sweaty but a little on his head. He has another scratching spell this morning right before fully waking up and then when he was up. He went to use the bathroom, peed and came back and was ready to eat. I am hesitant to send to school because the wheezing is not 100% gone. So this is my concern, not sick but keeping home from school and what message this sends. But the school will probably call me if they detect the wheezing and most times when I send him it always gets worse so I have to go and get him. So this is my dilemma. Thanks!

Hi Dr., We went to something at my son's school last night for about 1 1/2 hours and by the time we left he was wheezing quite a bit. When we went there he wasn't but has been the last couple of days. I ended up giving him a dose of lobelia this morning around 5am because he had a restless night and thought it would help. He didn't go to school again today due to the wheezing even though he is fine for the most part. He hasn't had a bowel movement all day and not sure about yesterday. He just had a lollipop from the bank and he broke out a little bit around Right eye, starting digging a little in his Right ear which has a little bit of yellow wax in it I can see further down with my eye. He is now wheezing more. Oh yeah, he also had a dum-dum lollipop last night at the school. I don't usually give him those lollipops with the artifical dyes and colors but started letting him have them occassionaly like when we go to bank but he seems to show these types of reactions when he has them. We were just at grocery store and he sees chocolate fudge bars and says he has a taste for them today, they contain creme (milk). I didn't say no but said we can try a bite of it after we go to his afternoon gym time for kids. I am very nervous about him having even a bite of them. The last time he had ice cream was on Thanksgiving and it was not a good reaction..and it lasted into days. I know you keep saying let him have what he wants but I ask please guide me on how to handle this. I know you say take it slow, have a bite but it seems as if all it takes is one bite for a major reaction to happen. I don't think I am holding onto a great fear because from past experiences I know he will be fine over time but the immediate and sometimes days of handling wheezing, tummy aches, no school, is sometimes too much for me to handle. Please advise! I am just needing some reassurance that things are going as you expected, we are on the right track, dairy can be given a try...just need some advice on how to handle this emotionally. Thanks!

Hey sorry about the reactions,
I was confident he is doing fine so i advised you to let him take what ever he wants, ok since the spells are totally related to the food stuffs, i would probably suggest you to keep him away form them for a while, so that we can give him medicines without interrupted by other medicine like to control wheezing and stuff. so stop him form taking those foods and just put him on usual restricted diet atleast for a month. Mean while give him a dose of tuberculinum1M i think the last dose was given a month ago, and just leave it.
we will see how is the change.
I know it is hard to see him showing reactions, so it is better to keep him away form things for a while and then we will try it again. I was confident he already gained enough immunity to fight them but may be we need to give a little more time. Lets see.
Thanks.

Hi Dr., Okay, I guess I have so many emotions surrounding all this. I just ached to think we have to step back instead of moving forward. But at the same time I know it isn't just me fearing these things because so many things I freely let him have and only pray it will be fine and then the reactions happen and I think is it his fears of the reactions happening, the fears I have placed in his head about food, etc. He just asked to have the chocolate bar and I explained to him Mommy thought it best to wait since it had dairy in it and he isn't feeling his best today. He took it ok and I offered him half a banana and he was happy about that. He did just get very, very upset that the class we were going to is cancelled since not enough parcipation and he cried for sometime. But I explained to him we can go on Mon. to different class and he got over it.
I do think there is a component of all this that is about anxiety. Not sure if I told you but his teacher noticed one day that the wheezing just started up out of the blue when he was doing some math stuff and got to some things he didn't know and he started wheezing. They told him to just take a break and diverted his attention to something else and then he stopped wheezing. So I think we are dealing with food and emotions. I just find it so hard to handle but I am finding new gained faith and strength each day and know today I have also having a challenging day emotionally so it is all just affecting me more than usual.

Okay, so game plan is to give him Tuberculinum again. Do I give the dose tomorrow morning? Oh yeah, right after I wrote the last post he had a bowel movement, large and long and light in color.
Thanks!

Hi Dr., Okay, I gave him 4 pellets of Tuberculinum this morning. He went to school today and did fine. This afternoon however he is wheezing. It isn't that bad so I am going to see how it goes. Not sure how easy it will be to go back to eating the restricted diet. But we will cut out the eating outside of the house which we take care of alot of these issues, I think. And just see how it goes. Seems like he is quite reactive this week. We went to a gym for kids yesterday and they were spraying Windex all over the place, cleaning up and as soon as we got in the car he sneezed about 5 times and clear mucous came out of his nose. And the same thing had occurred the other day when we went. So just want things to calm down a bit.
Thanks!
