Please tell me if I messed up the cats!!
Trinity the one with aconite actually went near my husband today and slept. when she rested she let him
Pet him many times which is really great but she's still running from me.

Bella who I gave the opium to two nights ago yesterday was really sad and depressed it seemed! She was really wanting lots Of affection. Same with this morning. She seemed really sad and depressed.. But now she seems ok!

What do they drink if they don't drink water?

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
Haha! They have not drank one drop of water since coming here! I have to put a lot of water in their food..

I've presented the bowl to the cat who will come near me many times and she's not havin' it!
And since the other cat only comes near when I give chicken, well.. You het the gist.

You only need to place 1 drop in their mouths though, and you can also rub it on to their skin. With difficult animals I have seen people just squirt it into their mouths with a dropper - it doesn't matter if they spit it out it only has to touch the inside of the mouth or even the lips.

Subsequent doses must be given as liquid so you can succuss (hit) the bottle each time. This is vital for the remedy to maintain its power against the disease.

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
Yes ok.. I will
Only give water next time... But Can you tell me how I could possibly do this if the animal will only accept food from my hand? And will not come within three feet from me? :)

iloveyou last decade
Put the drop on the food, as long as the amount of food is small and it eats the whole lot. The only important step in the succussion.

Great will do... Ill so that tonight to give another aconite.

And the cat with the opium I look in her eyes and she seems really sad...!! But they are playing ok..
It's normal right? Shes going through the trauma of before?

Today trinity has been running quite a bit.. But while she was laying down with the other cat I let her smell me and I pet her three time.

She was shaking and tremblin she was so scared.. Then got up and left. This happened three times. I only pet her for there seconds..

I made a liquid remedy to give to the cat...I put about two drops onto the piece of chicken and gave it to her.

So far I've given her two pills one 24 hours apart. Then the liquid on food today. How many more days shall I give this?

Also what do you think about giving them some star of bethlehem bach flower essence? I was lookin up aconite and it said that in combo with rescue remedy was good to calm them down..

Or is mixing that not good?

iloveyou last decade
Oh no!!!
I've finally been close to the cat long enough to observe her.
The one I've given aconite to has a sleeping respiratory rate of 80 breaths per minute!
I've counted her chest going in and out and IT is over 80!
Normal is around 30!
The other cat is around 32!!

What's happening to her???

iloveyou last decade
Ok now
I've moved away from sitting near her not touching her and her respiration is normal..

iloveyou last decade
Well, over these days I have also given the cat some drops of Star of Bethlehem because she is so severely traumatized that she would tremble and shake just if I had my hand petting her..

The good thing is that I can now pet her, but ONLY if she is in a sleeping, relaxed state laying down. No way to touch her otherwise. She seems to be afraid of my hand itself.

This is progress. At least I can touch her when she is laying down. But not very long. At first she was getting up and moving away slightly. But she is getting used to it now.

What is happening now is she seems very restless. She is meowing and awful lot..and it is a sad painful meow. Like she wants to be close to us, but is too scared to do it. She will come near to us and lay down, but if we try to reach for her, she runs.

She still runs if you just walk by her...Any movement towards her, even if it is NOT to touch her, she will still run away.

Now though she is at least coming out in public more..sleeping in open areas and not only under the couch.

But now she is meowing a sad and crying type meow. No she is not in heat.

I hope you can tell me what to do. I feel so sad to hear her meow like this.

iloveyou last decade
Just to add, it is like she is torn. Like she wants to be near us, but she is too afraid. She will wander in and look around and walk by us when we are sitting still, but she will not come to us at all.
And she will jump where her whole body tenses up out of fear...She will sleep around us a few feet away but that is about it.
It also seems like she is not eating very much.
She will eat when I give to her from my hand but she is very cautious about it and will sniff it first before eating and will take her time to eat it. Whereas the other cat will inhale it fast!
Ok.. I will see if I can think of any more.

iloveyou last decade
She also will not really eat out of her bowl if we come in the room, she will leave.
She wants to eat alone, or with the other cat.
Sounds also make her on high alert.

iloveyou last decade
How many doses of Aconite did you give her?

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
On the 15th I gave her one pill. On the 16th I gave her one pill. On the 18th I gave her two drops. On the 20th I gave her another drop. But I antidoted it the next day. Cuz I thought it was too much.
So three.

And now she is endlessly meowing like she is upset and walking around. This just started about three days ago.

Help!!

Do you have Stramonium?

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
Ugh no. I have seriously hundreds of remedies. Stramonium is not one!! Shall I order it?
What potency?

iloveyou last decade
How has the other kitten done on the Opium?

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
Please tell
Me what potency of stramonium to buy.
It will take one week to get it.
Is there anything to give her besides rescue remedy? I have to go buy some tomorrow.

Well I've seen nO more
Bleeding. She is Sweeter
Than ever. I've seen that she has some attachments to me. She wants to be near me. And lay on me. It's beyond adorable. I forgot to say also that she did have a cold when she was very young but recovered. She is the best thing ever. She seems so fine.
Please tell what potency for the meowing cat. She will only allow
Petting if in one spot. She does look like she is hallucinating.. Seeing things.. Meowing at the air. Climbing uP the wall to reach something. Abruptly turning her head. Somewhat abrupt and aggressive on playing with a toy. It's so sad!

iloveyou last decade
Ohhhh I forgot also to tell you about the cat that seems fine.. Her purr is silent.. Almost like not happening. And if she meows.. There is no sound!! Is that funny? Im wondering if that is a result of their trauma? My poor babies!!!

iloveyou last decade
So the Opium worked quite well then - excellent to hear.

I want you to give the first kitten a dose of Opium as well, I suspect that they both might need it.

Otherwise Stramonium 200 would be the next choice.

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
The opium seems to have worked.

The first two days she seemed VERY VERY sad actually. And she was REALLY needy. Wanted to lay on me all the time.

After that, it mellowed out some.

I sent you some photos to your email! :)

Ok...So you want me to give Trinity, the one who is really scared also a dose of Opium?

And give nothing to Bella? The one who seems fine?

I will not order the stramonium then.

I am going to give one liquid dose now to Trinity.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I am sooo grateful.

iloveyou last decade
Opium can actually present in two ways - one is to appear as if the terrible shock or trauma didnt affect them (a sort of painlessness or numbness to it). The other is to be hyperalert and terrified. I want to try the opium because her sister has done so well on it.

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
Ok. I was just woken up to her sitting outside my door meowing. I can't let them in my room while I sleep because they make so much noise all night it affects my health! So I gave her three drops.. Lets see what happens!

When may I repeat it again???

Is rescue remedy ok to give to her also?

iloveyou last decade
The opium made no change at all in her. Any other ideas? Should I order the stramonium?
