The opium made no change at all in her. Any other ideas? Should I order the stramonium?

iloveyou last decade
Repeat it - it has only been one day for a chronic problem I wouldn't expect to see a change in 1 day.

It may not be right for her but I want to eliminate it as a choice before moving on.

Ok I will repeat it in the am. I just managed to give her some rescue remedy. They smell the alcohol.. I need to find some pet rescue remedy.. It's hard to find in Sweden...
Thank you!

iloveyou last decade
Rescue remedy will interefere with homoeopathy - you need to use one or the other not both.

I've asked you this in many posts! I have been using it.

How can I possibly allow her to meow and be upset for two weeks in between each homeopathic dose?

There has to be something I can use to calm her down in between homeopathic doses. Maybe I need to try flower essences then..?

I've been giving her both. And it's all on food anyhow so who knows how effective it's all really being anyhow.

Ill see how she is in two days.

Well I had already given her the opium and she seems like she is having an aggravation for sure. Maybe it is interfering? I asked you this at least 3 other times in the posts here over two weeks ago and since you did not answer I assumed it was fine. I read online that combining them was a good thing. And since you never answered I thought it was ok.

She is meowing and rolling on the ground. And seems more spooked. I will not do anything for some days now.

If she needs rescue remedy, then the homoeopathic remedy is not working. Using rescue remedy to palliate the symptoms won't help us to find the remedy, nor will it help us to observe how well it is working.

I thought I had spoken about bach flowers, flower essences etc before - it could have been other posts as I answer many of them and it is easy for me to lose track of who I give what advice to (unlike the people I see in person).

Bach flowers, like any medicine, can change the state of the patient, and therefore changes the action of the remedy they are given.

If any patient needs something in-between doses, other than their remedy, it implies that the wrong remedy is being given. In such a situation I would be changing the remedy not using something extra to buoy them up.

It could also be suppressing the aggravation, which means that the action of the remedy is being blocked as well.

As you can see, it can make things more difficult to work out. Just see how she goes over the next 2 days and let me know.

Ok well after seeing her roll around on the ground last night I think she's in heat and that's what's going on these last days.

So whatever I gave her aggravated her being in heat! Poor thing!

We can't take her to te vet yet because she does not trust us.. So I'll have to see what happens to her after she comes out of heat.

But my husband picked her up this morning three times which is the first time ever so that is a really good thing.

Just checking in..

She is not in heat now.

She was definitely in heat for these days..That was when she got worse.

Now we are able to pet her a bit more frequently, but she is still very jumpy.

She seems like she wants us to pet her, but she is SOOO anxious. Even if she is laying there, and I am petting her, and she is purring some, she will get up and leave after only a few minutes.

Her BREATHING IS SOOOOO RAPID. When I am away from her her breathing slows..but just petting her can triple her heart rate!

She wants it but she is SOOO anxious...and stretches when I start to pet her..but then gets up after a minute or two.

She is torn..

She is still meowing some randomly as well.

Things are improving..my husband is able to pick her up sometimes..

But I really see NO change at all from the remedies...

I feel the opium did nothing for her at all..

I feel that the TIME has gone by and that is why she is getting more used to us.

ANy more advice is welcome.

She clearly has some kind of anxiety disorder...she is still very jumpy at any noise..even when it is in the other room...

I will have a look again at this when I get a chance today.

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
Sounds great.
Thanks a lot.

The interesting symptom is that I PET HER...THEN SHE STRETCHES.

Then she tries to allow herself to get pet...and then stretches and leaves!

So funny...

Is there something with anxiety/trauma that when you touch them, they STRETCH???

iloveyou last decade
Is she noticeably better when she stretches?

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
I agree it is a peculiar symptom and I would think it would be a key for unlocking the answer to the remedy. Desire to stretch is very prominent in Rhus-tox, but also in others. I am unfortunately working at a research project today and I do not have my repertories with me. I promise to look at it later today when I do have access to them.

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
YES peculiar!
Hmmmm noticeably better???

I can't say yes or no.. When I put my hand to touch her when she is sleeping she instantly stretches.... Maybe it's a way to vent her anxiety... Also with that her breathing/respiration increases about THREE TIMES FAStER THAN NOrMAL... Poor thing.

Then even her breathing stays up high.. Even many minutes after I've gone away from her...

And she jumps from noises.. Her entire body will move... And she still runs away some... But is slowly getting more relaxed..

Yes.. Of course when you are free.
Thanks so much....

iloveyou last decade
That actually sounds quite a lot like Rhus-tox - she is restless yes, paces around alot?

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
Actually there is another panic remedy that has this marked desire to stretch - Amyl nitrate. It is a remedy that also shows a marked increase in heart rate and breathing rate.

Again without any reference books I am operating purely on my memory.

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
Yes she's pacing around and meowing.... And stretching only when Im petting her..
Im waiting for your wonderful advice..

iloveyou last decade
Another thing ive noticed is that she crashes into things. Her and her sister play hard and run all over! But sometimes trinity runs so fast she crashes into things a lot..
And makes noises.. Now I know the other cat really does not do this.

Now speaking of the cat that seems fine.. She tried to meow some times today and very little sound comes out! I was thinking maybe this could be from the trauma???

Also she had a cold when she was very young and I wonder if this cold took away her voice? She purrs silently and when she meows sometimes she just opens jer mouth and nothing comes out!!! I noticed this cat also does not close her mouth totally and I wonder if there is something happening with her respiratory/voice system??? And could it be from severe trauma that she has no voice??? I don't know but wanted to tell you about it.
She also seems quite attached to me! She will sit outside me door to wait form me to wake up!!! She's soooooooo adorable.. But this voice thing is curious??

iloveyou last decade
Try a single dose of Arnica.

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
Arnica for the cat with no voice?

And what about the cat meowing pacing and stretching when I touch her?
Please clarify.

iloveyou last decade
No leave treatment for the second kitten, just Arnica for the scared one.

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
I only have arnica
30 C here.
Im giving in water dose.

How many times shall I give it? Please advise.

iloveyou last decade
Wait!
I have arnica 50m
Should I give that I stead of the 30c?

iloveyou last decade
No 50M is much too high. The 30c will be fine.

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
Oh great..
Doing it now. I hope it does something..

iloveyou last decade
I am trying to use medicines that you have, rather than getting you to order new ones in. All else failing we will have to get you to buy Stramonium.
