So scattered doesn't mean what I think you meant when you said it. Not like the jig saw puzzle pieces. Peace and silence is not the opposite of that.

If chaos is more appropriate, what image would suit that word? Peace I can see counterbalancing chaos - but what is an example of chaos?

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
Chaos as in confusion like people walking in NYC, like no one is in sync just millions of people all doing their own thing. I guess when I was thinkig puzzle I was thinking of the pieces being all separated not forming a completed picture but 100s of images.

So your thoughts, when scattered, are like something that should be a single thing, but it is is many pieces? Is that more like what you feel?

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
Yes exactly. It is very hard for me to focus on one thing because my mind keeps jumping to something else, I have a terrible memory, with names, instructions, anything verbal I have to write down. Although I am very good at finding my way through a familiar place by identify something like a building or the way something looks so its very strange to me. This maybe off topic but hope it helps, I also mix words up a lot sometimes I feel like I have Alzheimers.

acaruso22 last decade
What is very strange to you?

How do you mix up words?

Does your mind jump to specific things or random things?

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
What is very strange to you? That I have such a bad memory when it comes to anything verbal but I have a good memory with directions like if someone shows me the way to get somewhere I can remember it by my surroundings

How do you mix up word? some examples are like I'll say tomato while I mean ketchup or Ill say throne and I mean thorn...so it is somewhat related to the word I am saying but still not right.

Does your mind jump to specific things or random things? I think it depends like if I am feeling anxiety my mind starts thinking of bad things like what if this happens...usually has to relate to what I am getting anxiety about. Other times when I am trying to focus or relax my mind just thinks of random things, not related to what I am doing at that moment.

Ok got that. I will make a prescription for you by the end of the day.

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
Great thank you, could you also recommend where I can purchase it. I go to school in NYC, is online also an option?

acaruso22 last decade
There must be somewhere in NYC - I will hunt around for somewhere local for you.

Otherwise remedies can be ordered online through links on this site, or at pharmacies such as Helios or Ainsworth's.

Also I am currently taking 60mg of cymbalta once a day, do you suggest I stop taking it once I start your treatment. Or should I go back to my doctor and have him give me lower doses and then stop taking it all together?

acaruso22 last decade
Don't stop any medication until we see improvement. There is usually side effects from coming off medication, and this will only confuse your response to the homoeopathic medicine.

After we see improvement we can discuss tapering off your orthodox drugs.

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
Ok makes sense.

Sorry again for this delay. I moved house this weekend and there was no internet connected when I moved in. I will spend the time I have between clients today looking at your case.

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
No problem, get to it when you can I appreciate your time.

There are two remedies that to mean seem indicated - one is a commonly prescribed remedy (a polycrest) and one is a relatively new remedy.

The two remedies are Nat-mur and Lac-lupinum. I would suggest getting both, and we can work through one at a time.

Get 200c in both remedies. You will also need to get two spare empty bottles with droppers.

I am having trouble finding the Lac-lupinum, both online and I called Bigelow CO Chemists,in NYC. Do you have any references or a link to where I can purchase it. Also I just want to make sure, I am getting both of these remedies in tablet form right?

acaruso22 last decade
Not tablet, pillules. Tablets won't dissolve in water and you need to do that when you take a dose.

Helios and Ainsworth pharmacies in the UK will have Lac-lupinum, which would be my first choice for you. It's a shame Hahnemann Laboratories in CA doesn't have it, I notice they have many other unusual milk remedies.

Great Helios does have both, now the question is in what form do I get it in or does it mater:

Pillules No 6: spherical sucrose - 25/gm
or
Pillules No 3: spherical sucrose - 25/gm

Sorry for the confusion, I just want to be certain I get the right thing.

acaruso22 last decade
The size of the pillules doesn't matter too much. Get whatever is cheapest.

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
Thank you, I order them. I will let you now when I receive them, and then I guess go from there with the directions on how to take them.

INSTRUCTONS FOR SPLIT DOSING

Firstly, you need to create a separate dosing bottle. Get a bottle with a dropper, 15-30mls in size, and fill it with a mixture of water and alcohol (5 parts to 1 part). Dissolve 2-4 granules or 2-4 drops of the medicine you bought from the pharmacy into this mixture. Your doses will be made from this bottle.

Hit the bottle firmly against the palm of your hand, or another elastic surface like a book. It should be a firm hit not a tap. 2 hits is enough to begin with, and should not be increased unless it is clear that it is needed. The water in this bottle will 'remember' the number of times you have hit it, so that subsequent doses will be stronger (necessary to overcoming the resistance of your disease).

Place 1 drop into an amount of water - I may start with anything from 1/4-1 full cup (62ml-250ml) depending on the sensitivity of the patient. Stir thoroughly and take 1 teaspoon into the mouth. Throw the rest of the cup away.

This is one dose. Repeat doses would be started from the 2 hits on the bottle.

Each step of this process can be adjusted to reduced aggravation or to increase the effect of the medicine. In order to be able to do this, it is important to measure each step (count the hits, the drops, measure the water etc).

At first you will only take one dose so we can measure your response.

Ok, I believe I follow. I have learned about the taps from my Kung Fu professor, where I first learned about homeopathy. I received an email from Helios, it may take up to two weeks to receive the remedies. I will keep you posted, just to be sure on your instructions: you do not 'mix' The water, alcohol and medicine it is just the two firm taps and that is it, correct? You only stir once you put one drop into the 1/4-1cup water, and does it mater what kind of water? (Spring, Tap, filtered)

What do you mean by repeat doses would be started from the 2 hits on the bottle?

Also am I doing this to both medicines that is why I have two bottles and droppers? And taking them both at the same time, with the same process done to each?

Thank you, sorry for so many questions!

acaruso22 last decade
In the spare empty bottle you mix alcohol and water, 1 part to 5 parts, then dissolve 2 pillules into it. After that, hit the bottle firmly (not tap) twice only. You stir thoroughly, very thoroughly although it should also be gently. The kind of water doesn't matter really although overall I always prefer natural water (rain, spring).

If you need to take repeat doses, you won't dissolve any more pillules into the bottle. But you will start by hitting the bottle firmly again twice.

I want you to mix up the remedies separately because we may need to use them at different times. You will not take them together however, and the reality is that only one (if either) can be the correct one. You would make them up in the same way, and use them in the same way, unless I ask you to change it.

The amount of water you dissolve the drop into, will be 1/4 cup to begin with.

Great I am stilling waiting for the remedies in the mean time I am going to go to go look for the bottles with droppers hopefully a local pharmacy or vitamin store will have it. Also what kind of alcohol am I using is there a specific name or content, and where can I buy it?

acaruso22 last decade
Any spirit will do (as long as it isn't mixed with herbs or cream). I use Brandy or Vodka, but you can use medicinal alcohol too.

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
Ok I just got the medicines today, I am going to follow your instructions for split dosing. Which should I take first, and does it matter if I eat before or after, or what time of day I take it?
