Ok I just got the medicines today, I am going to follow your instructions for split dosing. Which should I take first, and does it matter if I eat before or after, or what time of day I take it?

Lac-lupinum is my first choice. Take a single dose of that. Just make sure the mouth is clean (although not using mouthwash) after eating if you do it then. When you eat does not affect your dose in anyway.Nor does time of day.

Ok, I took the first dosage. Let me know when I should report back to you or when I should take the next dose. Thank you

Well you can report any changes that occur, although I probably would wait a week before doing anything else. Just keep me informed - daily reports or report back by the end of 7 days. Totally up to you.

I took a teaspoon of the 1drop in 1/4 cup of water, before dinner around 7pm. About an hour later while I was doing my school work I began to get very itchy which usually happens when I am getting stressed, I get hives. Not sure if this was a reaction or just my normal symtoms of anxiety. I woke this morning feeling fine and not itchy, well for now. I will have a large work load for the next week because my interior design project is due next Thursday. So I know from routine that I am usually very tired and stressed from the pressure and thinking I will not finish on time. So this maybe a hard week to judge how the medicine is working, what do you think?

acaruso22 last decade
No it will be good. If you react differently we know the remedy is responsible.

Hi David, So far I haven't had a full out anxiety attack but I am still experiencing hives and feeling itchy. I am also breaking out a lot on my face which does usually happen when I am stressed. It has only been 4 days since I have taken the remedy, so I guess I will contact you on Wednesday which will be a week. Thank you.

Also I have been really busy with school because of midterms and just realized I need a refill after Wednesday night, so I will probably have to go a few days off Cymbalta until the weekend when I can go to the doctor. Should I tell my doctor I am trying homeopathic medicine and would like to lower my dosage in Cymbalta and ween off it, or not yet?

acaruso22 last decade
It's too soon to reduce medicine - we need to be sure that you are getting better. Certainly don't increase your dosage or change to new medicines, but just keep things the way they are for the moment.

Is the not having an anxiety attack different, or could that happen on its own?

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
Actually it is different I feel like under this amount of stress I would always have at least one anxiety attack. I feel a little less edgy. Although I feel like the anxiety is still there where I am still scratching, have a hard time focusing, falling asleep also takes me awhile, and I am breaking out on my cheeks which never happens to me even under stress it is always my forehead and chin. I am also very tired and I am getting 7-8hrs of sleep every night, but I am working a lot with very little breaks. So today is a week from when I first took the remedy what do you think I should do?

acaruso22 last decade
Are you able to go through the symptoms you listed initially, and give me an idea of how each one has changed, if at all?

We may need to do a second dose, but doing it too soon will create chaos so it must be done with care.

Sorry for the delay in response. In the past week I the symptoms of my heart racing or feeling pressure on my chest and the scattered thought have lessen, there was only one instance on Wednesday night. Something had gone wrong with my project and until the issue was resolved I was feeling all of these extreme symptoms. When this happens if I can, I usually take a warm shower to relax me and it does somewhat help. These symptoms usually happen when I am feeling extreme anxiety, which would usually happen in situations like this past week where I was working day a night on a project and have the pressure of completing it and to my standards. Before that Wednesday night I did not have an extreme anxiety attack, but like I said was still breaking out in hives and constantly itching or picking at myself, having a hard time focusing (getting easily distracted), also was feeling very tired and I was still getting 7hrs of sleep every night, but woke up a lot thinking about my project. Since the project has been done on Thursday, I do feel a great relief but have been mentally exhausted and have been sleeping or resting for the majority of the day for the past 3 days. I have had very little motivation to do things and that also makes me nervous. Overall I feel like the first dose may have helped a small amount with not letting my emotions and thoughts get the best of me and have more anxiety attacks, rather just one.

Ok then it sounds like a second dose is appropriate. Take it exactly as before, just once.

Hi Dave,
Its been a little over a week since I took the second dose. Also I thought I should mention I had to go to the doctors last week to get a refill on Cymbalta and unfortunately my insurance company has stop contributing to this medicine so I would have to pay full price, which I can not. My doctor has lower my dosage to 30mg and wants to ween me off. So he gave me enough samples for a month and then said I can try another solution once I completely off. I did tell him I am trying a holistic approach and he was surprisingly ok with it and said just to report back to him in a month, to let him know how I am.
This past week I have been feeling very tired and sad, I know this can be related to lowering the medicine and I am also menstruating. I have not had any anxiety attacks, but I am still experiencing the symptoms such as mixed scattered thoughts, unable to focus, unconsciously itching and worrying.
Just wanted to touch base, let me know if you need more information. Thank you!

Repeat the Lac-lupinum, however I would also suggest you get hold of 1M from the pharmacy. 200c may not be quite deep acting enough.

Hit the bottle 3 times for this dose.

Ok I will take a dose today, just to be certain I am not supposebto be adding more pellets to my original mix right? I only put in a couple initially. The only thibg additional is the taps each time.

acaruso22 last decade
No more pellets that is correct. Just increase the hits (not taps, firm smacks against the palm of the hand).

Hi David,

I know it has been a while but if you remember last, my doctor was lowering my dosage and then stopped me on the Cymbalta about a month ago. I did experience what I found out to be withdrawals for over a week. I was very nauseous, irritable, having nightmares, and unable to focus. Thankfully that is gone, and I am glad to be off that medication but am still struggling with my anxiety and feeling hopeless about it. I have been on my winter break the past couple weeks from school, so I am not sure why I am still experiencing these feelings when my stress level is a lot less. I am considering seeing a therapist but also want to continue to try holistic treatment. Please let me know if you think you can still help me, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you,
Amanda

First thing to do would be to repeat the Lac-lupinum. Now that you are free of the suppressive influence of the drug we may be able to see it's effect more easily.

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
Ok will do, I still have the same bottle made should I use this? Or make a new mixture.

acaruso22 last decade
How old is that bottle now?

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
I would say about 2-3 months ago is when I first made it and I have hit the bottle 3 times each on 3 separate occasions

acaruso22 last decade
Ok that should still be fine for dosing. Use the same bottle. 2 hits, 1 drop, 1/4 cup of water, stir, 1 teaspoon, once only.

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
Hi, its been a little over a week and I'm still feeling the same symptoms, no improvements since the last dose.

acaruso22 last decade
Ok go through your list of symptoms. Write each one out and next to them write either Better, Worse, Same or New (for a symptom you didn't have before). For better or worse, also put a percentage next to it to represent how much.

Make sure you do all symptoms, even the little ones, and don't lump things together.

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
Unable to focus: about 30% worse
Forgetful:the same
Sad/hopeless: 50% worse
Unmotivated: the same but at times have moments of wanting something done and feel obsessive aboit it for a day or so then it usually fades
Irrational thoughts: 50% worse, I feel like everything is going to go wrong
Not sleeping well: New, have nightmares or am not in a deep sleep
Moody/sensitive: 30% worse
Anxiety attacks: 20% more often, where I expierence the feelings of pressure on my chest, and lose control of my emotions and thoughts
I am also breaking out more and gaining weight about 5-10lbs since November. Which I am insecure about.
