P.S.Is it al right if i drink decaf coffee? It's difficult to give up coffee altogether as i just can't live without it.
When will we know if the remedies are working like they should?
So far there's nothing to report after taking the dose this morning. My stomache still feels a bit bloated and i've been constipated since taking Coloth.

Hi ipslon,
Your first statement made me laugh :). I already told you not to stop taking coffee immediately. I know it is difficult. Just reduce the number of cups & avoid taking it immediately before or after taking the remedy :). I know there would not have been much to report after first dose. Things will be more clear after a few doses.

Hi Asad,
Today i took 3rd dose of Staph 200CH but i feel there isn't much going on. My back hurts a little (i have a slipped disk and hernia) and my breasts are very painful to minimum pressure.I suppose this is due to normal aggravation of symptoms.
I am so desperate to feel better. In these last 12 years i have been able to function socially for a few years at a time but i've never felt the same way i used to before the 1st episode of depression in the year 2000.
Is there reason i should worry seeing there aren't any major reactions to the remedy?

The symptom you have posted clearly show aggravation of Staphy. Now stop using it & wait for few days. The aggravation symptoms will vanish in 1-2 days & the remedy will still be active for a few weeks, so you will notice control on depression in next few days. Don't worry :)

I wanted to write to you yesterday but i almost slept the whole day. It happened today too even without any further dose.
My appetite has increased too. I hope to lose the extra weight i have put on in the last few days; my stomache is out of proportion with the rest of my body.
As for the mastitis, i feel pain in the whole area and both sides and they is some swelling. The pain usually increases until my menses arrive and then it decreases but doesn't stop;at this time of the month it should be less. If i wanted to jog i couldn't because they would hurt too much.
Mentally i feel the same as usual unfortunately.
What do you suggest i do?

P.S. I forgot to add that i slept until 5.30pm yesterday like today.
Yesterday i also had a terrible headache which appeared in the afternoon and stayed until i fell asleep at night. It was in the eye area but at the same time it felt like it was deep inside my head. Today it felt like it was going to reappear but it didn't.
Also i wanted to say that i've been having hyper-salivation, a symptom i sometimes have.It can cause drooling while i sleep.
Finally, the constipation has decreased even more.

As you suggested i read something about Syph.It seems like it is only prescribed to those people suffering from obsessive compulsive behaviour (e.g. excessive hand-washing) or/and alcoholics.
Have you treated someone who had a depression like mine?

It is not necessary that patient's each & every symptom should match the remedy. There are few decisive symptoms, if they are found, the remedy must be taken. For example staphysgeria is made from a plant seeds & symptom are noted after proving them on different people. But in real life who eats stphysgeria seeds??? No one so how is it possible that a person's 100% symptoms should match staphysgeria? But if few decisive symptoms are found, the remedy must be given on time before the ailment is further deep seated.
In your case, you have already used Aurum Met without any notable improvement so it is necessary for you to take one dose of syphilinum. If similimum & constitutional remedies are not working well then a miasm is necessary which most of the homeopaths don't prescribe timely & hence patient looses hope. In your case Syphilinum is your miasm.
Please mention your exact date of birth here so that I may study your case from biochemic point of view as well.

Thanks for your reply Asad. I am sorry for asking all these questions. It's just that I have been trying desperately to find a cure for 12 years so it seems almost impossible that someone can really help me now.I am trying to be positive to not interfere with the vital force of the remedies.
The biochemic point of view sounds interesting. I am a Leo born on 26/07/71. I once looked the remedies up according to star signs and i found out that my one was Kali Phos. (i think). Your analysis may be different though.

Hi Asad, i was expecting to hear from you.
I took the Syph. yesterday afternoon and a few hours later i got a stomach ache (with gas), the type i get when i have a horrible case of constipation.I had the feeling of needing to evacuate but couldn't.
Somehow i think that Syph. could be my similum because 'Hopeless; Despairs of recovery.
Apathetic; Feels as if going insane or being paralyzed
Inability to feel joy' are my main mental symptoms.
I will keep you updated.

Since taking Syph.(on Fri) i have had no bowel movements and no urge to either.
The mastitis has worsened with further swelling and of the abdomen.
I don't know if dreams are important to you for diagnose but i had a nightmare the other day in which there was a dead body.
Mentally, i feel the same; i am easily irritable.
Shall i wait to take Aurum 30ch?

Dosage:
2 drops of Aurum Met-30 in half cup of water 2 times a day 30 min before or after meal. Report progress on daily basis.

-bowel movements again
-feet warmer than usual, changing position of feet to cooler part of bed because feel hot.(had this with Syph. too)
-taste of blood in mouth maybe caused by bleeding gums (usually it happens when i brush teeth.)
-weeping after seeing romantic movie. I hadn't cried for quite a while. I felt heart-ache.
Unfortunately no change in symptoms. Do you know when i can expect a amelioration?
