Hi
Thanks for your patience and reporting things precisely!
We should not change the remedy at present.
Please repeat Pulsatilla once again. Since you are giving it 3rd time, please remember to stir vigorously once the remedy dissolves and before giving the dose.
Please update me after 12 days.
Note: Stirring is only before beginning the doses, and should not be repeated in between doses.

hello!
The chalazion did purge/drain a good amount during the last 2 weeks (the most improvent so far). It mostly drained during sleep, waking up with dry crusts on the eyelash area where affected below (lump). I believe there was draining from the focal point on the eyelash (this is a new developement)- it is now a red spot/inflamed at a single folicle which I feel is good AND draining from the ulcer-like lesion inside the eyelid.
There has been no change in past few days, although I had eased up on the nite time moist heat on eye.
There has been a total reduction to date of the size and visibility of the chalazion by 60% I would say. There is still some left, and it is noticeable especially if there has been crying.
How to proceed? Thank you!
Elaine

well, I thought I had the 30 potency, but I cannot locate it now. All I have is combination remedy for ears: Hepar Sulph 6x, Pulsatilla 3x, and Silica 6x.
I can order the single remedy if need be I guess.

Hi,
We can not give combination remedy now as it can undo some of the good work.
How is his mood now? Any ear related issues, etc?
Please get Silicea 6C.

His mood is good, less crying and whining in general since starting the remedies. Perhaps alittle bit more independant and less attention competing w/ his twin? Incidentally, he and his brother played outside all day in the sunshine and last nite/today they are having some symptoms of seasonal allergy? This child is having clear nasal discharge and sniffling - very minor, but there nontheless. (Other brother had some minor ear flare up, in another post!)
I will order the silicea 6c asap.

ok, update:
I have ordered the silicea 6c it will be a few days til it arrives. The eye has drained again a very small amount yesterday, still same size chalazion. What will be the dosing when the silicea arrives so I may start right away.

Hi,
Please take Silicea 6C as per the below method:
Please dissolve 2 pellets in 3 teaspoons water. Stir well with a spoon. This is one dose.
Please take 1 dose in the morning and 1 dose in the night for 3 days and stop.
Please update me 3 days after the last dose.

hello!
sorry for the delay, summertime gets busy around the house:)
The chalazion has reduced even more w/ the silicea! A few days of good drainage/crusty eyes happened. There is still a very small bump noticeable...but I cannot tell if it still needs a tiny bit of draining OR if what I see is the lesion/ulcer from INSIDE the eye (where drainage came from). The area does still gets alittle puffy when crying...does that follicle need to open up to allow full flow of tears/oils?
Please advise:)
thank you for all your help--

hello,
the lump under eyelid (chalazion) is very much improved, almost undetecable. Ther remains a tiny lesion inside the eyelied that is visible as a tiny lump...it is reducing. The eyelid/eylash area still does get puffy at times - not sure if all the eyelash follicles are open? Not noticing much/any drainage morning crusts. Should we leave it as is, or next step?
thanks!

We need to repeat probably once more, but not now. Please observe for one more week and update me.
What is the status of other issues - stubbornness, susceptiblity to cold, hearing problem?

hello!
The lesion inside the eye is still there - and this week I notice there is still some 'white' matter within the center of the lesion, needs to be expelled I believe. The eye (outside under lid) still gets alittle puffy w/ crying.
Some stubbornness returning (I think from 'summer boredom'), still very loving and affectionate child, creative.
please advise, thank you!

Ok, I would like to know about any other issues that remain after treatment, other than Chalazion.

A few small remaining traits to remedy:
-this child has developed a nail biting/chewing habit the past year since beginning 1st grade at a new school. Nails and surrounding skin is chewed alot, he always has fingers in his mouth!
- does grind teeth at times during sleep, loud enough to wake me if I am sleeping next to him.
- he currently dislikes washing his face;)
other than that, he is a very loving, gentle, and creative child who likes to rise in the morning early;)
thanks!!

I apologize for my delay in replying! My sone had a severe stomach flu for a few days this month and I got sidetracked.
to review:
I realize you took time to choose several remedies for next dosing, however I do feel that the nail/finger chewing is at the most problematic I have seen with this child...which is why I believe he got sick this month! to recap his current behavior/symptoms:
severe fingers in the mouth habit/chews nails ALL the time, it is a noticable problem now.
Are the previous 3 remedies you listed for this problem specifically? Also, he most alwaqys get an impetigo/ulcer infection around his lower right mouth after a flu illness...if that helps with remedy selection...
thank you for all you input:)

Hello Zady 101,
You had helped me with my young son a few years ago with a large and stubborn chalazion under his eye - your remedies successfully uprooted it and it has never returned, thank you. I now have a 4 year old daughter with the same problem, also I can see 2 additional bumps under the thin skin of her eyes on both upper lids - so three chalazions at this time. The most pronounced is under her right eye. Are you able to help again, and can you take this case?
With much gratitude,
elaine
