I had a slip while playing cricket and during making run and sudden return caused me problem in my knee. The first doctor who investigated me suggested that it would relief just by rest. Now after 1.5 yrs. I feel that I am not able to run lost confidence on my left knee. I got an MRI of the knee and the report states Grade 3 Tear of ACL. The Doctor advised me for surgery and I don;t want to go for surgery..
Pl. advice me. My MRI is attached with this

I don;t have any pain and I have no problem while walking but the problem is only when running and jumping on the same leg.

10 yrs back I had same kind of problem in right knee and an old Doctor without MRI he told that it was Ligament Tear and plastered the leg for 21 days and I am ok with right leg today. Can't we opt for plaster once again for this left leg.
If not a plaster can we opt for a brace which can support sift the load from knee and give rest for repair just like a plaster.
Pl. advice.

even i am against surgery,but your doc is the best person to advise you,from your report it appears that minor surgical procedure should do the trick.

When you have a tear like this, it is a mechanical problem and simply
needs to be sewn back up. Medicines, plaster, etc are not going
to fix the cause. Usually they do the endoscopic surgery, which
is minimal, and the problem is solved.

If you willing try this for 3 weeks and hopefully your knee should be fine:

Wear a cast for three weeks so that the knee doesn't move at all during this time.

Start Ruta 30c, plussed dose, daily for these 3 weeks.

Get a MRI done at the end of 3 weeks and report back.

Dissolve one pill of the remedy (or one drop if remedy is in liquid form) in half glass of water. Stir and take one tea spoon. That’s one dose. For the next dose, stir the mixture and take another tea spoon. Keep using the same mixture for every subsequent dose. Stirring everytime before taking the teaspoon of dose. If available, add a tablespoon of vodka as a preservative to it. Don’t refrigerate, cover the glass and put somewhere away from direct sunlight.
