9 year old with autism _{Page 4 of 8}

I have not noticed any negatives from Veratrum or the one dose of Arnica. I have seen improvements in overall mood and he is less hyperactive. He’s definitely not as quick tempered as he was over the summer. He transitions better and is easier to direct. Overall he’s very happy which before he was very grumpy. He teachers notice a big change in demeanor as do I. Today some of the hyperactivity seems to be creeping back in, along with a spike the isolated interests and activities. My top five:
- constant “scripting” or self talk. He repeats songs or tv episodes all day long.
-isolated interests.
-hyperactive. Mind and body constantly moving.
-poor social skills
-fear and anxiety associated with anything like doctors appointments, hair cuts, dental visits, fingernail trimming.

I will say that these 5 items have improved slightly with the Veratrum. Still present, but before it was almost like he HAD to do those things and now it looks more like he just enjoys doing those things. It looks happy now and before looked very anxiety driven. Except the doctor. That’s still pretty bad.

Looks like he had sweating episodes the day of receiving Arnica as well as the two days following. So he reacted for 3 days total after receiving Arnica 30. Since then no more sweating. He’s in a good mood but slightly more hyperactive than he had been. Thanks!

I don’t think garlic water is an option for him. I tried to give him garlic water after breakfast and had to use a syringe to get him to take it. He was very distressed and then vomited after I gave it. Not because it upset his stomach. But due the taste. He’s a very picky eater and I think the intense flavor was too

Gave Arnica 30 this morning. Lots and lots of self talking today! He seems to be very activated and constantly moving. This all seems to have started since we stopped Veratrum. Veratrum was given 1 week ago. Each day the hyperactivity and self talk seems to increase. As of today we are back to where he was with it prior to starting your remedy suggestions. Nothing else has been noted thus far.

Gave Veratrum 6C this morning. He’s definitely much much calmer today.

It’s been 3 days since giving veratrum 6C. He was noticeably calmer the first day. Slightly less the two days following. Would you like us to continue to monitor?

I gave the Dulcamara 30c yesterday late afternoon. Today my son was a bit more hyperactive and I saw the return of some of the rigid behaviors and wanting to do lots of repetition in his play. A bit of diarrhea as well. But these things are definitely manageable. I’m just writing to report not because we are struggling. We will continue to update in a few days. Thanks.

Ok. Just so I’m clear. Give him one dose of Pulsatilla 6C? Should I give in the morning or after school?

Gave Pulsatilla 6C yesterday afternoon. No noticeable behavior changes good or bad. But after dinner he broke out into a sweat and became clammy. He felt like he was going to vomit, but never did. It passed after about 10 minutes. Unsure if it’s related. There’s a lot of viruses going around his school at the moment.
