Three days of Dulcamara 30c so far no noted physical reactions. He definitely seems more hyper and activated. Lots of self talking. Mood seems ok. Will continue the course and update after.

Please stop Dulcamara for now. Let go one day with no medicine. Then, give him a dose of Veratrum 6c in the evening, for one day.

Ok. I just read your post. He is already at school and I gave the Dulcamara this morning. He’s had a total of 5 days of doses. The same response as I mentioned before. No real changes. He does seem a bit more activated and hyper. Lots of self talking. I will not give the Dulcamara tomorrow. Would you prefer I give veratrum tomorrow morning or evening or wait an entire day with no medicine?

Gave the veratrum 6c on Wednesday evening. Thursday he was noticeably calmer. Less less talking. Today another great day at school. Mood seems improved and again today calmer and less self talking.

Please repeat Veratrum 6 any time and day you feel applicable, now and in future.
Will need more Dulcamara to remove the underlying cause. This can be addressed later.

Great. So veratrum can be my go to remedy when he seems really hyper and showing lots of self talking? Lately it seems like the gains hold for about 2-3 days. So I imagine that’s about how often I’ll dose it. Thank you!

Reva V, I went through this thread and couldn't help but to interrupt you. Thuja has worked miracle by removing the vaccination taint that usually triggers autism. The remedy well indicated now is Baryta Carbonica but I insist it should be used in 200 or upward potency. And less frequently. Say a week or fortnight. I Amy very positive that it will work just like Thuja did.
A single dose for week and let a happy mother tell you how the kid is doing better.

Just to update this thread as sometimes Reva and I communicate via email. We gave veratrum 6c for 2 days and then we’re advised to give Pulsatilla 6C each day instead. We did that also for two days and then my son developed a terrible cold (there’s a bad virus going around school). So we have been advised to stop remedies until the cold clears. So far two days with no remedies. Thanks!

The other bit of information I forgot to mention on here is that he has begun to spit. First it started with water and he does it because he thinks it’s funny. Now it also includes saliva. He’s not mean spirited whe he does it. It looks like it’s for fun or attention seeking behavior. It’s not all the time. The constant scripting of songs and TV episodes along with hyperactivity and lack of social interaction continues to be our main focus. But the spitting is new in the last few weeks and wanted to bring that info to the case. Thank you.

There was an exactly similar case some time back on this forum. I do not know what the outcome was. Pls try locating that case. It may help you.

My son has had a pretty bad cold and cough for about a week now. We did not give any remedies the first few days per Dr Reva until the cold cleared. He began to improve a bit and so we added Dulcamara 30c each morning. We are on day 3 of that. He’s pretty grumpy and still coughing. Today he developed very dry cracked lips,. Lots of self talking lately and isolated interests. But that tends to spike when he’s not feeling well. I will say he’s improving with the cold each day. But today seemed like he may have felt worse. Low energy and grumpy. Just wanted to update the thread. Thanks.

Baryta Carb and Thuja have a narrow spectrum of coverage and have fewer and partial success, even in well indicated ones. It need several prep remedy either to precede or follow.
Surely will suggest Baryta based on your advice after a balance has been brought up.

Gave Graphites 30c two days ago. No notes changes yet. He’s feeling better from his cold finally, but he’s very hyperactive and LOTS of self talk.

Please give him Phosphorus 30c, once a day in the morning for 3 days. This is to calm him constructively.
