The ABC Homeopathy Forum
ocd
I'm looking for treatment for OCD-excessive intrusive thoughts, fears, anxiety, and depression. I didn't realize how much engery I'm expelling with these issues. I feel so drained and would really like a natural way to alleviate this if there are options.Thank you.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Gender? Age?
Are you angry?
Do you hate to answer any body's questions whom you don't like?
Do you have strong self dignity?
Is there any problem of sleeping?
Are you healthy?
Are you looking handsome?
Do you suffer from headache sometimes?
Do you passes more night with reading or other works?
Do you do same thing again and again?
Suppose you have closed the door. But you check it again and again.
Do you walk again and again to reduce the thoughts?
When you go on top of building, is there any thinking to jump?
Do you dream thieves? Or do you check you door again and again?
Do you wash your hands again and again thinking as if the hand is dirty with jerms?
Please clearify about the reason of fears, anxiety and depression

I'm a 42 year old female. I have some anger. I suppose I don't like answering questions to people I don't like. No trouble sleeping. I do have strong self dignity. I look ok, but don't take the time to fix my hair.I don't usually check the door or anything over and over. It's more over correction. Leaving 1 hour or more early to avoid any possibility of being late. I get up very early to avoid being late. I obsessively think about all the things that could go wrong & do things to prevent possible bad outcomes....such as being late, or my child getting hurt etc. I don't obsess about germs. I am afraid of Heights so I would never go up high or consider jumping. However, feel extremely overwhelmed and lonely. I have had some suicidal thoughts, but wouldn't act on it.

Hi,
Please tell about when this began?
What was going on in your life at that time?
What went on in childhood? Were you
Raised in a strict manner and shamed for
Any mistakes? At home, at school, at work?
Previous bad outcomes on events, where you
Felt responsible?
Have you ever tried counseling for this?

I have tried counseling multiple different times, but it doesn't help.
I think I've had anxiety a long time.
Things intensify when I'm under stress. I was raised in a strict unstable home. I feel responsible for many things.
I unexpectedly became pregnant and the baby's father left in early pregnancy. My family also left during pregnancy because they were against me having a baby as a single mom. I'm now 4 months postpartum and been having a very hard time.

Hi again,
I am asking these things to get a clearer picture
Of your case. I used to do counseling-
Are you USA? And is it possible for your finances
To work with a homeopath by phone? Because
I know two excellent women homeopaths , who
Are very good at anxiety and women’s health.
Do you feel you are having postpartum depression?
What meds / herbs/ supplements/ homeo and
Allopathic have you tried? And are you taking
Anything now?

Hello, Yes, I'm in the U.S. I am unable to afford the homeopath now, but will be able to in a few months. I had an unpaid maternity leave & trying to get back on track. I don't know if I'm having any postpartum depression. I'm sure I did early on, but don't know if I currently am?
The only things I've tried is vitamins and fish oil.
Thank you so much for your help .

Hi,
Are you breastfeeding now?
Feeling isolated is a common issue with new
Mom’s, as this is a huge transition in lifestyle.
What kind of support network do you have?
Friends you can talk to each day? Belonging
To a church or spiritual group? Joining a new
Mom’s group for group walks, meet up at the park,
Etc?
What city are you? Do you have the Nextdoor app?
People are eager to help their neighbors on
There- you could find other moms to make friends
With.
There are different styles of counseling-
And skills of the therapist. I find it important
That you know you have hypervigilance
Because of your past.So there is a “wired”
Habit of continual scanning for possible problems
- part of healing is observing what you are
Doing from the front- logical brain. And
Then actually mentally talking to the lower
Brain that everything is ok. Because it is
The lower brain trying in a cave man survivor
Way to keep you safe. The lower brain will
Always win over the front logical brain when
It is activated. Because it has an actual route
To the hippocampus ( where encoded stress
Memory is stored) and it will set off adrenaline
, cortisol , shut down blood flow to the front
Brain command center, so you lose logical
Power over the body/ mind.
Whatever sets you off can go From low to
High. Your job , when anxiety is low enough,
Is to reprogram that lower brain. Rather than
Believe it, start telling yourself all is fine,
Take calming breaths, change your attention
To anything else, make a phone call, turn on
Music, exercise etc because you are breaking
The hypervigilance loop. Then if you also
Start adding in STABLE daily connection routines
With others ? This really changes things, and
It may be hard but you have to do it.

On remedies- I am not sure if you would be
Better off with calming herbs right now.
Homeopathy, is meant to match your mental
And physical symptoms. Because the “match”
Will trigger the life force of the human body.
The body will not tolerate two similar things.
The remedy is a diluted molecule copy of
The substance. When it matches, the body
Raises life force to get rid of the remedy
And then start releasing the real problems .
What this means is that suppressed emotions,
Grief, etc will start to show up. They will
Not stay long, and it is a process of releasing-
It will take some time , and it is a process.
Given your situation - you might want to
Try calming herbs first and then try the homeopathy.
