if SEPIA works on you, it will take care of everything. you dont need to take nat mur or any other remedy.
if after taking a dose of sepia, if your sinus symptoms aggravate, you should not take any remedy. you should just bare the pain for some days. the curing process sometimes brings in aggravation.

I took Sulphur 30C and noticed an improvement in hair loss and rash. Then, took Sulphur 200c for two days, waited two weeks, and took for 2 more days. This must have been a mistake. I am experiencing benefits, but now strange additions - dry mouth, hot feet (my feet are always cold), late or missed period, disturbed sleep, and strange sweet craving. Could I be 'proving' Sulphur? How can I antidote the bad symptoms, but keep the good. All of these symptoms mentioned above are not usual for me. Thanks!!!

hi storage girl,
yes, its possible you are proving sulphur.
i had suggested to you just a weekly dose of sulphur 200c potency considering the pace of the disease.
hair loss is a slow paced disease and thus you shouldnt repeat the remedy too much.
please take a few dose of CAMPHOR 6C some three to six doses 4 hourly.
you can resume SULPHUR 200C once a week for some weeks.

Okay, I have taken 7 doses of Nat. Mur and tried really hard to stay away from sugar and salt. Last night I gave in at a birthday party and felt pretty awful afterwards. I forgot to mention I developed Gestational Diabetes while I was pregnant and I sometimes can't stop myself from eating sweet things...as well...my asthma has come back (yearly fall thing). It makes running really hard. Do I keep taking Nat Mur? Oh, something else...it seems to I have a bit of bad breath...stemming from my tongue (which I do brush...it just has been 'coated').

please stop nat mur as you have already taken the required number of doses to start the reaction.
if the reaction starts, you will feel emelioration of symptoms in the next few days.
observe the pain in your scalp for the next few days and please report.
contact me after about a week.

You had advised Sepia 1M once a week for 3 weeks. However my medical store person said that i shud not take 1M as it might hav adverse reactions as it is a deep acting remedy. Should is till take 1M or start with lower potency. Plz advise.
Halima last decade
you have not mentioned any physical pathology and thus aggravations with a single dose of SEPIA 1M is not likely.
your medical store person may not be knowing much about aggravations. However, if you have any issues, you may take SEPIA 200C once a week for three weeks and observe progress.
later, if some improvement is noticed, you can take 1M potency to have a long term benifit.

Rishimba - Thanks! Just ordered Camphor 6C. When you say three to six doses 4 hourly - does that mean I should only take three to six doses every 4 hours? Just want to make sure I'm following properly after my bad move causing Sulphur proving. :v(

Rishimba, Thanks for all of your help! I thought it may be helpful to post my answers to the questions-make sure Sulphur is best for me. (I'm not feeling as confident if my original thought)
Patient ID: Sex: Female, 43 years old.
Please answer the following questions in a descriptive manner after careful analysis and recollection of previous experiences and happenings.
1. Describe your main suffering?
- Hair loss for about 1 year. Started with strange rash on my chest (Sulphur took care of this quickly.) I had a TSH of 3.0, and a nutritionist recommended high dose of Thyroid supplement. My TSH dropped within 1 month to 1! Then, experienced EXTREME diziness for 1 day - followed by rash and hair loss. I had an adrenal test - it was very low in the P.M. (have been taking supplements)
2. What other physical sufferings do you have in your body?
- Used to have bad allergy to ragweed and mold. Started cleansing to get rid of the problem. My allergies are no problem any longer. Energy is generally good.
3. What mental sufferings / feelings do you have associated with your physical sufferings?
- I feel VERY depressed with my hair. Sometimes I feel like shaving it off and wearing a wig. Also, have a fair amount of stress with moving. Also, company has been merged three times in short order!! Have been crying about my hair, too. Generally - not much of a cryer. It makes me VERY sad!
4. What exactly do you feel when you are at your worst?
- Extremely sad about my hair. My hair has always had its ups and downs, but this is a new low! Sometimes I can't think of anything else - it is very humiliating to go out in public.
5. When did it all start? Can you connect it to any past event or disease?
-About 1 year ago following Thyroid supplement and cleansing.
6. Which time of the day you are worst?
-Hair seems to be falling out most in AM.
7. What are the things which aggravate your suffering and which are those which ameliorate the same?
-Seems to shed the most after I wash my hair. I try to wash as seldom as possible. Liking to do it less and less.
8. Do your think your sufferings have relation to any external stimuli (like, change of place) or any internal biological changes in the body, like, menses (in females)?
- I don't know. I am 43, and up until this month, have had periods every 28 days. I'm not sure if I missed this month due to Sulphur proving or not? Thought hair problem could be related to Thyroid or Adrenal issues from supplement - but, just don't know? (not feeling confident anymore)
9. When do you feel better, during hot weather or cold weather, humid or dry weather?
- I don't like cold weather too much. Also, don't like heavy wind. Otherwise - everything else is good.

Totally non-confrontational - I don't like to argue and will do whatever necessary not to have a problem with someone. Sometimes this causes me stress, as I'm doing something I don't agree with....
- How do you feel before or during a thunderstorm?
- Don't think any difference?
- Do you like being consoled during your tough times?
- Yes, but I don't like being yelled at....don't enjoy criticism.
- Are you sensitive to external stimuli like smell, noise, light etc?
-Have always been very sensitve to light. In fact, my pupils hardly dilate!
- Do you have any typical habit or gesture like nail biting, causeless
weeping, talking to one self etc?
- I hate to admit this, but sometimes I develop tics.
- How do you feel about your friends, family, your children and especially your husband / wife?
- My children are great - no stress. Husband - sometimes causes stress for me - we are opposites (especially on finances - I don't like to argue with him). Friends are good - no stress. Work=stress from mergers.
11. What are your fears and do you dream of any situation repeatedly?
- Constantly afraid of illness. When I was a child, my mother had Lupus (she passed away when I was 23). So, I am always trying to look for ways to better health. No particular dreams I can remember?
12. What do you crave for in food items and what are your aversions?
- I love caffeine, but have been trying hard to stay away from it. Usually crave sweets - ice cream, fruit or candy. Don't like baked goods. Salt is ok. Love veggies - not meat.

please take CAMPHOR 6C, each dose at an interval of 4 hours.
after a few doses, its expected that the aggravated symptoms of sulphur, if any would be ameliorated.
now, answer the following questions from what you have written about yourself..
- do you love exercising and all your physical symptoms seem to reduce?
- do you hate being yelled at especially if the person is a male?
- why does your hubby cause you stress?
- what makes you angry the most?
- whats your dream profession?
- when you are depressed, do you feel yourself worthless and want to leave this world?
your symptoms are not pointing towards sulphur the cause of the ailment is overdose of chemicals which ofcourse is covered well by sulphur along with the itching sensations and hair loss. however, its best to antidote and then start a fresh treatment.

Thanks for responding so quick! I appreciate your help!
- do you love exercising and all your physical symptoms seem to reduce?
- Love to exercise! Hair loss seems to be worse then! I can lift weights without additional problems. Running makes it worse! So, no running for me.
- do you hate being yelled at especially if the person is a male?
- Don't like to be yelled at by anyone. My worst confrontations have actually been with women. I work with mostly men (I.T.).
- why does your hubby cause you stress?
- He likes to 'correct' me a lot. Maybe I don't like correction to much - I also don't like to give bad feedback out myself. He also has no concern for finances.
- what makes you angry the most?
- I guess confrontation would have to be it. I like to have peace everyone. Also, being told what to do in an aggressive manner is hard for me.
- whats your dream profession?
- I work in I.T. I would either do this or teach.
- when you are depressed, do you feel yourself worthless and want to leave this world?
- Sometimes. I do like to runaway from confrontation.

Hello Rishimba! Here are my answers:
why dont you like heavy winds?
-I don't like the wind blowing in my eyes (contacts) or my hair (because it is already crazy!).
what kind of discomfort do you have when you are in heavy winds?
-Makes my eyes water a bit.
do you love your husband but still feel that you are indifferent to him often?
-Love - yes. Indifferent- no. Since we are opposites in many regards, I sometimes have problems with his style of communication. I don't like to argue - he does. So, I have to try to be neutral to it, or it really stresses me out. This has been long-term. What seems as indifference is actually my way of dealing with our differences.
Hope this helps! :v)

storage girl,
you will probably respond to SILICEA as your generals and mentals match the remedy including some non related symptoms.
it may take time and thus you need to be patient as its a slow cure.
you may take SILICEA 200C one dose per week for some 6 weeks and update me after 2 months.

Well, I took the Phosphorus remedy... and promptly got the flu. I was sick for about two weeks. Around the same time, I started using a medicated anti-fungal shampoo from my dermatologist. This seems to have dramatically improved the scalp itching and flaking, but not the hair loss so much. I feel it might have plateaued a bit, but it's definitely not better yet... we'll see.

Okay, it has been one week since I took the Nat. Mur. My head does not hurt like it should (or like I am used to). I have been able to wear a hat ALL day! I now notice that my scalp in the areas that usually hurt are very dry and the hair that does grow there is very fine (like baby hair) and thin, and does not grow very long. What should I do now?

ellabean,
it seems that nat mur has produced some reaction in you and if the effect of this remedy continues, you will have normal hair growth and hair lustre in the weeks to come.
its required for you to keep observing the changes and whenevever the symptoms seem to recurr, you can take one dose of NAT MUR 200C.
generally, in such cases, a weekly dose of NAT MUR 200C will keep the reaction sustained. so, you can take a weekly dose some weeks till you feel that you are ok.

On another note,
I am not sure if this is related, so I will write it here. Every fall I get asthma. I have it now and have woken up with it. I used to have it as a child but grew out of it, and now it comes once a year for a few months (I link it to the rotting and dampness of all the leaves and extra moisture). I love to run, and can't run. It is a wheezing type asthma that collects mucous and makes me cough. I have allergies to dust/pollen/mold and I can't be around strong scents as it makes me feel sick (perfumes, laundry detergents...)
Thank you,

Thank you for your response. I'm not clear as to whether I'm looking for changes in my scalp itching or my trigeminal neuralgia which is causing the sharp pains and sensivity along that nerve along that gum line. Please explain. Thanks.
