Hi Sameer,
We got to see some positive response from the remedy after a long time :). On day 1, I could observe some reduction in the intensity on facial spots. On day 2, it got a little more better. But on day 3, the effect seem to be waning away and spots seem to worsen a little (or at best stable, but I feel its a little worse).
Mental front, it was better - overall negativity which plagued me for last several weeks got reduced.
Please let me know if you think we need higher LM remedies at our hand. I'll place the order so that we have them by the time those are needed.
Thanks,
Navdeep

Good, take another olfaction dose (this time with 8 hits to the LM2 bottle).
We will dose every 3rd day. (every 72 hours). Before every dose, you will give 8 sucussions.
Report after 2 more doses.
Good to have LM3 and LM4 at hand.

Thanks Sameer, Will report back to you on 1-December. Should I order 30ml bottle or something else? 10ml bottle is really pain to sucuss :).

Hi Sameer,
I took the LM2 doses as prescribed by you. With the first dose, i got some relief on facial spots, but didn't last more than 12 hrs or so. Almost no relief with the second dose. On the contrary, things continue to worsen :(. The spots are becoming even more wider, thicker and troublesome. If any calc dose has provided some initial relief, psoriasis has struck back with even more vengeance.
Nights are especially full of trouble. I get a lot of itching and get scratched all over. It hurts to even lie down and I feel restless. Drinking cold water and cold open air seem to help me. I am taking nearly one litre or more of cold water after dinner and by 5 AM. Typically more between 11PM and 5AM. In winters too (well its not so cold in hyderabad) I feel like drinking water from the fridge and go out in balcony wearing just knickers and sleeveless t-shirt, when I feel itching and burning is too much and I feel restless. In spite of this, I am not catching any cold. I cannot tolerate any heat at all. At the same time, when I take bath (with cold water) in the morning, I feel cold and feels good to sit in the sun. But not for long - keep alternating from seeking warmth to seeking cold. I am worried how I am going to handle the summers if things don't improve :(.
Mentally, I've been doing ok until today. I was having more of carefree attitude. but yesterday night and today morning I felt it is not improving and getting worse. Coupled with itching burning and pain, that shattered my morale. I was quite upright before this. Not truly ecstatic, but at peace with my situation - not really perturbed by the spots.
Now I am feeling as being constricted - spots all over the body are itching and feeling stretched and giving me a very hard time. Even a small movement sometimes is painful. I feel irritated - I don't like to be touched, sometimes because it hurts me if someone touches - sometimes its plain 'keep off me'. I don't like people looking at me - did try to manage that with some positive attitude or ' I dont care attitude'. I carried myself quite well but yes i don't like attention if it is because of my disease. I wear shades most of the time when I am out so that some attention is diverted off my skin. I don't like even my close ones talking about it.
Meanwhile, I have placed order for LM3-5 - expect it to reach in a week.
Thanks,
Navdeep

Hi Sameer,
I took lyco 6c on morning of 01/12. I was a bit worried about starting with 30c as I feared aggravation and I was already in pretty bad shape.
I did not notice any improvement after the dose. It continued to grow bad in fact :(. The newly appeared spots were feeling pricky like a cactus. The intensity also kept on creeping up. I was spending more nights gulping down cold water and going out in cold air to seek some relief. Lying on the bed sometimes used to feel as if I were lying on burning coal, and probably thats why cold air and water provided me so much relief.
Three days back, fed up with my condition, I had a single dose of sulphur 30c early in the morning. I was sleepless and frustrated the whole night. However, with that my itching and burning reduced considerably. I am not waking up at night to drink water again and again. Spots also started to look better.
Three days down the line, the gains seem to level out. I am still having lot of improvement in the itching, but some of the spots are not looking as better as they had started to look.
I apologize for my act of desperation, but I was driven so crazy by the disease that I acted instinctively and went ahead with the dose.
When I had initially taken sulphur 6, the impact was immediate and had held back for the remaining period of observation. This time there was a gradual improvement, seem to be stable for some time and now seems to be slipping down slowly.
Can you please take into consideration this improvement seen with sulphur dose and suggest me next course of action.
Thank You,
Navdeep

'Three days back, fed up with my condition, I had a single dose of sulphur 30c early in the morning.'
You should have talked to me. You waited for just 2 days on the Lyc 6 dose. This is not how things work in homeopathy, as now we would never know what Lycopodium could have done. On top of that, now Lyc can not be given as it is highly inimical after Sulphur.
Actually it is your hypochondriac nature, and severe anxiety about health which needs treatment first and foremost, but I am afraid you skin can get worse, during treatment, and I am not sure if this can be done online.
At this time,I can only say that you can take an olfaction dose of Pulsatilla 200c, as that should provide you with a 'superficial' skin relief, but as that is what your primary concern was and is, let us not try to dig deeper and cause trouble.
If this dose of Puls 200, does not provide relief, I would recommend, you find a good homeopath in person.

Hi Sameer,
I am sorry - I screwed up. You are correct about all the things you said. Not just about health, I can develop anxiety about almost anything. I can become hypochondriac if I strongly feel that something can or has potential to cripple me. I am mentally very weak in handling tough situations of life. I want to take charge of the things and be in control, but psoriasis hits me where it hurts the most. I always feel inferior and deficient. Its always there in the back of my mind that others are not liking me, or are thinking bad about me because of this disease. Now, this is not an assumed fear, I have faced situations in life which made me think that way. I want to look good - I want to be confident in life, and I know I can be, but psoriasis puts huge mental shackles which I find it tough to get rid of. I am not half as good with a continuous thought in my mind that I look ugly. Thats why I am in a seeming hurry to get rid of disease - actually it is subconscious desire to be in control of situations. This lack of control over things then percolates to all spheres of life - which I think makes me a big hypochondriac and anxious person.
I am sorry to have misled you to believe that it is only the skin relief that is my primary concern. Its just the things on the face that bothers me the most, and to add to that, its the comments from people which I find tough to handle. I am already running the 'I look bad' thought in my mind and when someone comes and says that 'you look bad man', it sort of sinks my self esteem.
Sameer, I have full faith in you. Please continue with the treatment as you think is the best way to. I am sorry to have messed it up - won't let that ever happen again. Kindly let me know the best way forward.
Thanks,
Navdeep

Hi Sameer,
I had Puls 200c on 8th December - two days after your recommendation. It has been just over 8 days now - On first two days, I felt that there was good progress which I felt as if coming to halt and somewhat reversing for next couple of days. However it seem to continue improving gradually, with intermittent periods where I feel that improvement is halting and seem to reverse but then it starts improving again.
I am observing mild to moderate improvement on most of the spots. The progress started on larger spots on my shins/arms and then other larger spots on my stomach started to look better. Now some small spots are also appearing to get better.
However, some spots don't show much improvement, but I think they would show improvement too - maybe it would take some more time.
Thanks,
Navdeep

Hi Sameer,
Wish you a belated Merry Christmas. I am sorry for delay in my response as I was away for some time.
I am feeling somewhat better than before, but it seems that progress stopped some time after I updated you last time. I was going through improve-halt-aggravate-improve cycle for almost 10 days. Since then it seem to have stabilized at certain point and does not seem to be improving much any further. Some spots are showing much improvement compared to others. It is mostly the spots that reappeared on places where I had spots earlier are showing some improvement. Newer spots that appeared after calc dose seem to show somewhat less improvement.
Spots on the face and to some extent spots on scalp got better. Spots on forearms and shins are also looking better.
In a sense, other spots have improved too - markedly less itching on the spots. Overall spots are looking a little more stubborn (feeling harder and drier).
But I feel that I am at the same level for last week or so.
On another positive note, I feel like taking bath everyday. It has been more than three weeks and I haven't missed a day.
Anxiety levels have also reduced because of my conscious attempts to control it. Reduction in psoriasis level seem to have played its part in lower anxiety levels. On a couple of instances, I felt less timid than I used to feel before. I confronted the situation rather than trying to escape - which i normally used to do earlier.
I had cold in between for a couple of days with intermittent nasal discharges. It could be related to weather too - but weather related cold used to be much severe - this was milder.
Please let me know what should we do next.
Thanks,
Navdeep

Procure Pulsatilla LM1 in 30 ml dropper form.

Hi Sameer,
Do you have any other remedies or potencies in mind that I can order along with?
I believe helios is shutdown for Christmas holidays and they would be back to work only after 4th. My last order of Calc. took 3 weeks to ship, but I hope they ship this one earlier. In any case I would be getting the remedies by mid of Jan or later.
Thanks,
N

Hi Sameer,
I am sorry for the flurry of posts - actually 'Silicea Terra' has got me a little confused :-). I can't find silicea terra on helios website. It is only showing Silicea. Is that the one to be procured - or is it something different?
Thanks,
Navdeep

Hi Sameer,
I am in the possession of Puls and Sil LM1.
About my condition - There has been a gradual improvement all over the body. Scalp is almost clear, face has gotten better again (50%) and a little progress on other spots is there too. Lots of itching and burning at night, but much better than before.
Apart from that, got lots of other problems - eye infection, fever, cold and cough. Right now, I am still getting lots of mucus discharge through nose and with cough.
After the calc dose (and coinciding with eye injury), I started to have a few floaters in my vision field. They seem to have got diminished somewhat.
On the skin, improvement has not halted - it has been going through 'improve-halt-worse-improve' cyc

Hi Sameer,
I am sorry it took me longer to get back to you. I thought we could wait a bit longer if the progress continues. I think progress halted some ten days ago and I wanted to update you about that - but then had a freak incident and had my back hurt. I could not stand up on my feet because my back hurt so much.
My scans suggests grade 1 spondylolisthesis, but doctor insists it is acute catch. I have very severe back ache and I am on pain killers. I can walk around a bit now, but I start to hurt my back with little movement. Lying on my back is okay, but lying on sides sometimes becomes painful.
Can you please help me deal with this acute episode.
Please let me know if you need details.
Thanks in advance,
Navdeep

I believe it would fall into overlifting category, although i was just lifting myself. I was just shifting from sitting posture to standing when i heard the click in my back - which was followed by unbearable pain.
I had appointment with ortho today - it was actually first time he physically examined me - last time he just saw my MRI reports as i was not able to walk up to his clinic. He seemed confident about the 'catch' (which seem to me is some form of ligament tear), although he said he would get me x-rayed again in a couple of weeks time.
I am off pain killers now, while still continuing with muscle relaxants for a week more. he called me for rev in two weeks time.
