Yes her health has improved greatly. No stuffiness and no congestion. Her eyes are fine too. And she has been in a better mood w even energy through the day. Again, thank you so much.

Ok an incident occurred on sunday night. SHe got a hold of one of the dishwashing tabs, she put a piece of it in her mouth and spat it out. SHe has been doing that a lot lately, putting objects in her mouth. I was uncertain whether a trace amount had gotten ingested, so following the guidelines on the box i gave her water to drink and called poison control. They said there was nothing to worry about to continue giving her water, and monitor her for the next 6 hours for any spit up or throw up. SHe was fine that night, had some water to drink and then went to sleep. The next day, she was fine. The day after that- tuesday, morning she complained of a stomach ache... she was eating a lot, thru the day, more than usual, had two rather big bowel movements. Today- wednesday, as soon as she had breakfast, she threw up. And ate little lunch, some rice and chicken. She had yoghurt in the evening, and immediately threw up.
I'm not sure what has bothered her, the soap or something else.
I will take her to the pediatrician in any case tomorrow to get his opinion, but i wanted to hear your thoughts.
She seems like she wants to eat... but she feels a stomach ache after she's eaten. While she's eating, she seems famished, gobbling up the food.

i forgot to mention, monday evening around 5 pm.. she had a few peanuts (crumbs of them) for the first time... she's never had them before..

Wow that is quite a concoction of dangerous stuff.

The symptoms look a little like Lycopodium again - however, considering All-c has been really good for her recently I would suggest repeating that if she is still having problems.

in your opinion, if a trace amount of the soap has been ingested could the effects show more than 24 hrs later? She didn't have any immediate rxn...

Look what the tiny amounts in homoeopathic medicines can do :)

Then should I continue to treat her homeopathically, or take her to a doc ASAP?

She has not thrown up today or complained of any tummy ache. But her eye has a little mucus discharge again.

Yeah the chemicals may have reactivated her defence mechanisms (the eye symptoms) - see how she goes today and repeat the remedy if she seems to be relapsing.

Something definitely has changed. It's 1:32 am, and I'm hoping you read this and can respond. She just did something she used to do as an infant of 4 to 5 months. In sleep, she seemed to be having trouble breathing, almost like, after children have cried a whole lot, it takes time for their breathing to normalize? They make a sound.. i can't describe it. She did it a total of 5 or 6 times as an infant, but it never disturbed her sleep... i would watch her, sometimes pick her up until she settled... i mentioned it to her ped, but because it happened so rare, he said 'not to worry'...it soon stopped so i didn't think much of it. Anyway, 1.5 years later, it happened again tonight. Except this time, it did bother her, and she woke up howling, like terrified, i carried her.. and she relaxed and has fallen asleep. I bumped up the all-c and gave her a dose of the 200c.
I'm not sure what to do... please advise.

The breathing is short, not smooth, and it's difficult, she pauses a few seconds, and then a short breath follows. I'm really not sure how to even explain it. I woke up with the sound of it, it seemed so similar. She makes a sound like she's been crying... with short breaths. And then a minute or two later, she started howling. As tho she was extremely scared.
please please advise. I also noticed her eyes, they're producing the mucusy discharge.. and it was around that same age (4 or 5 months) that it happened. It wasn't stuck together, just wet and creamy.

to add to that, she's also been putting stuff in her mouth, a lot more... again, as tho she were an infant again.. putting everything that can fit in her mouth, is going in... she was like this before 1 year.. she hasn't done this in a very long time.
She's trying to put things in her ears, in her nose...
she's also been more clingy lately again... to me. As long as i'm not around, she's fine... but once i'm there, she wants my sole attention on her.
Aside from that, her tummy was alright today. Her appetite wasn't the best, but better than yesterday. She didn't complain of pain, nor did she throw up.
She keeps saying she's hungry but turns away food/liquid that's offered... keeps wanting something else than what's offered.
SHe's not wanting milk or meat at all. She wants fruit and yoghurt mostly, or simple plain carbs (pasta, noodles, rice, bread) and vegetables. Not thirsty much, but will drink a little water.

Have you repeated the All-c yet?

yes, last night the 200c... she went to sleep but she's cranky now... it's 6 am..

I thought we were only using 30c - when did you move up to 200c?

I took her to her pediatrician this morning and this was his diagnosis:

As for the eyes, she has pink eye and has given her antibiotic drops for 3 days.

As for the stomach, he says its viral (stomach flu) and she should be over it.

As far as the incident on sunday, he said not to worry about the poisoning she got over that.

And for the night breathing, he said it was 'night terrors' and she'll grow out of it. Its not related to any breathing difficulties and/or asthma.

Ears, nose and chest are clear.

Please advise.

My opinion: I think she's gone back to the way she was when she was 5 months old. Her behaviour (clinginess), wanting mother to be near her, her eye issue, seem so identical. Even her eating- her wanting to 'snack' through the day, not eating a full meal at a stretch, but wanting to eat all the time.
Food is comfort. She was tired and very sleepy, and instead of saying she is sleepy, she kept saying she's hungry. I offered her food and she kept turning it away.

She's undergoing severe constipation which is not her normal at all. She's normally quite regular, once once if not twice daily. Last week, around thursday, she over indulged on blueberries. Not sure if this has anything to do with it or not, but she ended up finishing the whole box. Then on friday, she had a bm. Come saturday, she didn't have much veggies in her diet (we were out most of the day). She had a peach though. She didn't have a bm saturday, none on sunday, and then terrible pain on monday. I had to succumb to using a glyc suppository because she was in so much pain, trying to hold back the bm. She addressed on saturday that she had the urge, but said later. Sunday, the urges started becoming a little uncomf, and by monday she was wailing in pain. After the glyc supp, she was able to have three bms, but small ones, sticky, brown, clay like. And she wailed with each one. I don't know what to do, because she's having the same problem today, not wanting to have a bm, but having the urge. Lying down, in the car, being carried, or sitting, makes the urges go away, and makes her comfortable. Standing, walking, or attempting to jump, makes the urges come. She then says, 'no no, later'.
SHould i give her the remedy you are suggesting for her brother? or something else?
Other than that, she's been fine. SHe doesn't have much thirst, which is making the constipation a real problem. I really have to coerce her to drink water. She has been eating her fruits and veggies as normal.
She will drink some milk, but little, and only if it's on the colder side.

It is strange - they both appear to be showing features of the same remedy. I would say yes - give them both Sacch. I rarely see this in siblings. Very strange.

Only one dose for each made in dilution.

I gave her the med also before bed. She woke up around midnight and then again at 5... but was able to fall back asleep quickly. She woke up refreshed by 6... and ate her breakfast well. She didn't have the urge for a bm until after lunch. When the urge came, she couldn't hold it in. She cried in pain while she did it, but it was soft, still very much sticky though.

Other than that, she's the same. Can both require the same remedy, when both are complete opposites in terms of their likes, dislikes, habits, wants.. etc?

its evening now, and she's having the urge to have another bm, but she's crying and trying to hold it in. This is strange, but she normally tells me when she's had a bm and asks me to clean her, but the last two days, she's saying she's done, it came, but there's nothing there.
Should i redose? 4 hits?

karinamom last decade
It's too soon. She could be aggravating. A repeat dose can make that worse.

We don't decide a remedy on the personality of the patient, only on the type of suffering they have. So two people might seem very different but need the same remedy.

brisbanehomoeopath last decade
she's really having trouble. She's crying trying to go. Any suggestions?

Is this a worsening of her normal symptom though?
