The ABC Homeopathy Forum

dr.david and Dr.kadwa please help, Please be patient and read Page 11 of 12

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
This posting is to say how our good friend telescope Sir helped me to stay alive.

I am trying to reduce / taper anti anxiety medicine that almost crippled me.

I came here in this forum for homeopathy support to control the withdrawal symptoms.

Evocutioner/ Dr David Kempson prescribed be cann-i, I started tapering my anti anxiety medicine while I was taking cann-i. But cann-i 30c and later 200c did not work after few times.

I learnt from many sources potency should be changed to keep the remedy action going.

telescope Sir suggested me to prepare 204c and 208c cann-i.

I also investigated what solvent(because cann-i is not water soluble) should be used for each dilution how many times it has to successed etc. I was guided by telescope Sir and now I see 204c works.

This was very important for me for reducing my anti anxiety allopathy medicine.

I have also seen my remedy action went away previously. When I thought and revisited what I have done to make remedy action disappear . I found I ate sour food, like mango pickle or garlic. For this also I am grateful to telescope Sir. I went through all the posts of telescope Sir where he says not to take sour food products.

Let me write down for others how I increased potency.

99drops 95% 190proof alcohol + 1 drop of 200c cann-i >> 40 times succesion/shake >> 100 drops 201c cann-i

I prepare for trouble that might be ahead of me.

I am thinking at this moment..
the moment the effect of cann-i fades away I am in serious serious trouble..I am hoping when I totally taper and make anti anxiety clonazepam to zero ...my withdrawal symptoms will fade away.
But what if I still suffer ? What if I get dependent on HOMEOPATHY cann-i. What if cann-i does not work anymore for some other reason. The change happened by continuous allopathic anti anxiety medicine is in the genetic level. This anti anxiety medicines (poisons) down regulates one of GABA receptor of one GABA subunit and that is in the genetic level.
How do we deal with this?
I know telescope Sir thought about it, and he asked me to get Cal Carbonica 200c, 1M.
I hope I get well soon.
I am so fortunate there good doctors in this forum who helps to cure difficult cases like my case.
Thank you all. Special thanks to Evocutioner and Telescope Sir

Yogiram,

I know a lot of people who tapered and
had successful withdrawal from this drug.

Then they got the right remedy for anxiety and are well now.

What you are doing here is "what if" thinking. "What if" thinking is part of anxiety and
panic attacks. It is an actual brain loop habit and releases stress chemicals. For people
with Panic, anxiety, ocd, you must note when the "what if" shows up- and then immediately
distract yourself, with music, tv, exercise, study something, talk to someone -
whatever works, because this breaks up the loop and then breaks the habit.

Some people even think constant "What if" is the normal way to think, they don't
have any conditions of panic, ocd, but live life highly stressed, with high drama.
They like the adrenaline rush and peace seems boring to them.

It is difficult to recognize when the "What if" gets more subtle after working on it-
But an easy way to know is ask yourself--Where am I right now?
If you are in the future, chances are you are back into the what if.

My "what if" comes from my profession.

A researcher's life is high stress, and research goes forward only if we get desired results.

When a researcher designs an experiment he starts anticipating if the result is negative what he might do next.

He thinks ahead of time what different kind of negative results he might expect. A researcher learns from negative outcome of results.

Hope for the best prepare for the worst. We have to always think ahead of time. We have to learn to imagine different scenarios. Imagination make us different from another species.

Albert Einstein said "imagination is more important than knowledge...".

"benzo withdrawal syndrome" is a iatrogenic disease. To solve iatrogenic disease both patients together have to work hard, especially a patient has to have good reporting skills.

You mixed up "benzo withdrawal syndrome" with panic attack, anxiety, ocd.

These are all different disease, the mechanism we know so far is different, symptoms are also different.

Hahnemann centuries ago never saw diseases of mind differently from other illness. Homeopaths never label illness. Homeopaths never put down patients saying you are anxious ..you are an anxiety patient..you are obsessive compulsive you are a OCD patient. Homeopaths looks at the totality of symptoms.

But I am pleased with your posting because you wish good for me. You want me to get well. Thank you. I appreciate your input.

Your message in your posting possibly means, "do not freak out" you will get well. I need this support. :)

Thank you again.

People with panic attack, ocd, anxiety and depression,
many have had the same prescription med you had,
and had to go thru withdrawal and then address the
underlying condition/cause.

However, all the panic disorder people ( what if I have another
one?) ocd ( has underlying what if xyz happens again and
they don't even know what xyz is, which is why they have
ocd to cover it up) Anxiety/depression, what if I feel this
way today or it comes back-

The what if then starts to become the normal thinking pattern.

How you think for your profession has to be regulated by you
as "wearing a different hat" and then knowing how to
disengage. Firemen, ER physicians, police etc all have to have
extra down time from the high stress and learn how to turn
that thinking off when they come home or they burn out.

Because you have a gift in the mental sphere there is a strong
push to go with it constantly and going the other way of
turning it off seems foreign, it is all about balance, you must
believe that whatever shows up in the future that you will
handle it at that time-because I believe you will handle it
whenever or whatever needs to be taken care of.

All the best,

Simone

Benzodiazepine drugs have anxiolytic, anticonvulsant, muscle relaxant, amnestic, sedative, and hypnotic properties.

For people who understand allosteric regulation::::
The active site of the GABAA receptor contains a number of different allosteric binding sites which modulate the activity of the receptor indirectly. These allosteric sites are the targets of various other drugs, including the benzodiazepines.Different benzodiazepines have different affinities for GABAA receptors made up of different collection of subunits, and this means that their pharmacological profile varies with subtype selectivity. For instance, benzodiazepine receptor ligands with high activity at the alpha 1 and/or alpha 5 tend to be more associated with >>>.sedation, ataxia and amnesia,<<< whereas those with higher activity at GABAA receptors containing alpha 2 and/or alpha 3 subunits generally have greater >>>>anxiolytic activity.<<<<; >> Anticonvulsant<< effects can be produced by agonists acting at any of the GABAA subtypes, but current research in this area is focused mainly on producing alpha 2-selective agonists as >>anticonvulsants<< which lack the side effects of older drugs such as sedation and amnesia.

1. Please check the above scientific facts do not cover OCD. Selective serotonin-reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs), or the serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI) venlafaxine (Effexor) are better drugs for OCD not benzos.

2. Please check the above scientific facts. Benzos are CNS depressant. It is not an antidepressant. Depression is opposite of antidepression. Benzos are sometimes prescribed along with traditional antidepressants but there is no concrete science behind that.

3. But THERE ARE better drugs for insomnia, seizures, muscle spasms.

4. Often it is seen even patient without Panic attack problem starts having Panic attack when are given Benzodiazepine. Often it is seen patients who does not have insomnia, seizures, muscle spasms develops all these problems when patients start benzo drugs and then tries to withdraw from benzos.

To address the other point that was raised:
All professions can be stressful. Some professions follow mostly standard protocol. Meaning..... less intellectual engagement more execution of standard protocol. For a researcher ...we design experiments to achieve our goal and anticipate failure and success even before we get our experimental results. "What if" is part of our profession, it is not a disease related to our profession. It is a totally intellectual profession, no standard protocol or approved fixed protocol in research.

I truely appreciate you wishing good to me . I am thankful to you for your moral support regarding by recovery.

Yes Yogiram, I agree with you on all this, but the prescriptions for these things are still given, and often
multiple prescriptions at once of different things
to offset reactions of the first thing.

Of course the "what if" is part of your profession and
other professions, it is not a disease. But there are many,
who can't go for 10 minutes without thinking up a
what if ( negative) scenario and experiencing anxiety
where they can't enjoy life, they need awareness of
how their mind is working and then they can change it.

Best wishes,

Simone

has your tapering session ended ? how are you feeling now?

telescope 9 years ago
yes tapered 43% ...next going for next 6% or 9% reduction.

yogiram 9 years ago
hallucinations back, tried 208c cann-i today

yogiram 9 years ago
OK keep me posted.

telescope 9 years ago
still on sept 15th cann-i 208c, but having severe neuralgic headache

yogiram 9 years ago
do you have sulphur with you ?

telescope 9 years ago
do not have that headache but having some convulsion of limbs
once in a while. benzodiazepine is also a anticonvulsant (other than anxiolytic and sedative) so tapering of benzo can give convulsion. but it is only a 6% taper and 17 days gone in this taper. i should not have convulsion if cann-i is working i think it is time to repeat cann-i. also eclipse might be play a role too.

yogiram 9 years ago
I thank you TELESCOPE Sir for teaching me decrease of potency also can keep remedy action active.

I used 208c cann-i on Sept 15th; its action lasted 10 days. Then I tried 200c cann-i, its action lasted only 2 days.

In the last 2 days I did not have any convulsion or hallucinations. Now it came back again.

It appears to me cann-i effect is not staying enough number of days. I need advise on potency increase.

Benzodiazepine drugs have anxiolytic, anticonvulsant, muscle relaxant, amnestic, sedative, and hypnotic properties.

All these days cann-i was helping me to control all withdrawal symptoms including hallucinations and convulsion.

Disease picture might have changed slightly but probably not that much to say cann-i will not work anymore.

Planning to make 212c cann-i. But I do not think 212c cann-i will work for enough number of days.

What do I do now. Life is so difficult.

yogiram 9 years ago
if cannabis indica 212 does not work you have to go to 1m.
alternative is to take your constitutional medicine which we are not sure of.
can you upload your photo ? it can help in finding your constitutional medicine.
you need active diversion to help you get out of your current problem. do something meaningful and try to keep your mind occupied . keeping yourself unoccupied is really harmful .

In forums people do not stay for a long time. People come get help - give help then they go somewhere else.

My taper will take 1 year or more. I lost almost 2 decades of my life with this benzo dilemma.

As you know benzo takers have serious memory problem,

** also there are multiple reports that a benzo taker develops Alzheimer's at their later stage of life.

**Another issue I have as observed in brain MRI there are lesions in brain.

If you can think of these two issues and ask questions regarding remedy selection. Is it possible to work on these remedies now.

This is a remedy I am looking to take after taper of benzo is complete.

I want a healthy productive life, tired of losing years

yogiram 9 years ago
Yes, you can take.

Hello Telescope Sir,

forum is not allowing to write that disease name starts with "c".

condition serious. most probably c spreading. no proof at this moment.

serious situation, now my wife is regretting why she interfered.

(rectal blood, nausea and tummy pain back)

I was feeling nauseated for a day. then took Thuja 200c. Its is 10 hours now I took thuja200c. Usually it takes 1 day for thuja200 to work. But it may work before (current indian time 5:20 AM, Dec 9th)
I should mention I had tummy pain and nausea before. I did ct scan of abdomen. could not find c. although c t scan is not a specific. I do not know if this is from c. but i am suspecting it might be.
2. I had ulcerated burning in the rectum area for the last 10 days, this thing happened in my life several times. I was not paying attention to it in the last 10 days. Just now I went to pass stool. after that when i used tissue paper
raw blood came on the tissue paper. I do not know if it a sign of rectal c.

things are serious. missing verbal moral support. missing verbal communication.

what remedy do i take now? we need to stop spreading c. if rectal blood or nausea is not related to c it will disappear on its own.
