Dr Kadwa can you help with pilonidal abscess Page 4 of 4

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Myristica has nothing to do with his nausea and sweating. He should take Myristica to drain the abscess. He may also take calc sulph 6x if he feels it helps. The remedies should be taken for 7 days.

He has taken the myristica for 7 days. It has almost gone down completely. When he started taking it, the abscess was quite large. I saw it and it was about the size of a golf ball in diameter. Now there is just a small area that is hard to the touch. He also wanted me to let you know that it hasn't drained really, the inflammation has just reduced and it is not very painful anymore.
He said that although the process of taking this medication has been long he feels more hopeful that he is on the path to recovery, especially since he didn't need to take antibiotics to reduce the inflammation. We are going away for vacation from July 30th to Aug 9th. What medication should we buy for the next month?

Thank-you for your continued support

Whenever there is a flare up, he should take myristica 30 twice a day for 7-10 days.
Otherwise he should take a single dose of Silicea 200 every 15 days.
Now he should take Myristica 30 twice a day for another 5 days, then he should take a single dose of Silicea 200 and wait for 15 days.
You may report back after one month.

Hi again,

He began taking silicea 200 around July 22nd, yesterday he felt the area was a bit painful and inflammed so he began taking myristica again, he took it twice yesterday, should he continue taking this for 7-10 days? He said he has about 1/2 bottle remaining of myristica 30, we went to the store and the only thing we could buy is myristica 6ch. We are leaving for vacation on Saturday so we wanted to know what we should do.

Also, just to inform you we went to the walk-in clinic yesterday, he wanted to get antibiotics in case he needs to take it on the trip, he doesn't want to take it but wants to have it in case. The doctor again says he needs surgery (they always say this) to take out anything remaining in the anal tract. She was touching an area directly beside the wound that looked a bit inflammed and red, I wasn't really noticing this area that much, only the wound itself and the abscess on the side of the buttocks more.

Please advise. Thank-you!

He may continue with myristica 30 or myristica 6 for 7 days.

He should not eat brinjal, groundnuts, red meat and then he has more chances of a complete recovery.

Hi again,

I just wanted to let you know that the myristica didn't heal the abscess completely so we went to a homeopathic doctor in our area. We wanted someone to be able to look at it. We will be visiting her for the next little while. I want to thank-you for all your help. We will keep you posted with any significant updates.

Thank-you and best Wishes!
