Dear Dr. Kadwa,
She is eating ok after Nux Vomica. But her weight is still 13 kgs (age 5yrs). As I told you earlier, she borned prematured after the completion of 7th month. When she borned she was 1.2 KG.
I am giving her Calc Phos 6x and Calc Flour 6x. Could you suggest me any remedy to increase the weight.

My wife says she is not eating well from the last 3 days. Shall we give her Nux-Vomica? In what potency? Pl. suggest. (As I told you earlier, I am in Japan). Or do you suggest any other remedy?

Dear Dr. Kadwa,
I had given Nux-V 200c as suggested. She was ok for couple of days. Now again from the last 2 or 3 days she is not eating well agian. He weight has come down by 200gms. Now,it is 12.8 (for the age of 5 yrs). She looks very lean.
Pl. suggest a homeo medicine.
Pl. suggest any Ayurvedic medicines also, which can be used parllelly.

I just read about Kumari Asava...it is suggested for females for gynic related problems. Is it ok for kids also?

I am just going through different forums on the sites. In one post, somebody suggested : Rajanyadi Choorna, Aravindasavam and Mushtrarishtam - for children for indigestion, debility, strength, growth etc.
Pl. suggest if these would any benifit to my daughter.
If these can be used, pl. suggest the frequency, quantity, before or after food etc.

Kumari Asava is called so as it's pricipal constituent is Ghrita Kumari(Kumar) ie Indian Aloe Vera. Ghrit means it is as nourishing as ghee and kumari means the person who takes this regularly remains young. As homeo remedy has been shown to have many actions ranging from digestion to sexual system in the homeopathic MM, an ayurvedic remedy also has such wide range of action in ayurvedic MM.
There is also a special kumari asava for children called as kumari asava no. 2. Again there can be different names given by different companies.
So you should give her 1 tsp of the following ayurvedic medicines with water in the morning and evening after meals.
kumari asava for children
arvindasava
for day 2 to day 15.
You may also give her Chyavanprash or Amrit Rasayan available at Swami Ramdev's Divya Pharmacy.

I am also looking for Alfaco tablets - which includes Alfafa and Five phos salts.

Dear Dr. Kadwa,
I started giving Silicea 6x and Alfalfa/5 phos tonic to my daughter. She was responding well. Appetite increased.
Yesterday she got fever (102C), cough and running nose, started vomitings for 4 or 5 times.
I have given Bryonia 200 3 does. Looks like controlled. Now the temperature is normal. Light Cough is there still.
She is getting Cough, cold and fever frequently. Doctor said after looking at the x-ray, about 10 months ago, her lungs are condition is close to TB (but not TB exactly). I would like to try Bacillinum or Tuburculinum. Please suggest if this ok? Which one I should go for? What should be the potency and frequency?

Her growth is not as per her age. I think, because of this frequent attacks of cough and cold. Teeth are broken, wearing out easily, dents on the teeth, black marks on the teath.
I see most of the symptoms are matching with Bacillinum/Tuberculinum.
Please suggest.

Only when the patient is normal ie no fever or other aggravations, one should think about nosodes. Please update after one week.

Dear Dr. Kadwa,
After Brayonia, fever and cough came again, within one day. Then I have Nux-Vomica 200 3 doses. She responded well to Nux, within one day everything cured. If you refer to previous posts, from the beginning we are giving Nux only - for Bronchitis and Aversion to food.
After 5 days, now, she started coughing again lightly. She is repeated getting cough. Shall I go for Bacillinum or Tuberculinum? Or shall I go for Nux higher dose; as Nux 200 worked. Because of these frequent attacks of cough she is not gaining weight. Giving Silicea and Alfalfa don't work unless totally get rid of the cough. Please suggest.

Another thing..she is grinding teeth in sleep. Tuberculinum is one of the remedies suggested in KENT reportory for - grinding teeth during sleep.
Please suggest can I go for Tuberculinum at this moment; Or Bacillinum Or NUX or any other..

Whether you have done necessary tests for her to rule out tuberculosis. Nosodes can have serious implications if she is suffering from TB.
Sitopaladi Choorna with Honey is an excellent remedy for cough.
