Eczema and allergies
My 7 year has been suffering from allergies and eczema.He has now developed the reactive airway disease which my doc.says the pathway to asthma. My son developed eczema on his first month after birth. He is allergic to many food all the six allergic food groups, spices ,seeds virtually almost all the food with protein. If he eats any food allergic to him, he develops rashes and scratches.We used to apply steroid creams and ointment on his skin.Then my doc put him into eladel. The result was quite impressive, clean and clear skin. By the time he turned 3, he developed grass pollen allergy/allergic rhinitis. After that, I began to see a homeopath for my child but there is no remarkable improvement.I don't know why for a certain period of time the remedy works and the same remedy didn't work after few months.My homeopath tried all sorts of remedies ;don't know why its not working.Its been almost 4 years, y child is completely off any steroidal creams/ ointment. It is not unusual to see children develop asthma or allergies or other respiratory conditions when their skin diseases are suppressed with cortisone or similar drugs. It is vital that balance is restored to prevent a life-time of debilitating illness.
I see so many cases of adults with eczema who went on to develop asthma after a period of steroid use. Typically the eczema will aggravate on treatment while the asthma vanishes. If the patient relents and goes back to using steroids, within days the asthma returns. The connection is so clear and so frequent in clinic I have no doubt where much of our Asthma comes from.
I will link Dr. Luc Du Schepper's website here where he talks about how to give information about your child for homoeopathic prescriptions, although I am sure you have lots of experience doing this now.

There will be an obstacle to cure here that needs to be removed, if normal prescribing is not holding. On top of the symptoms, can you please list all the medications he has taken, all the homoeopathic medications, and any reactions to drugs or vaccines he has had.

Thanks David for your response.My son was on steroidal creams for birth to age 3.He was on antihistamins (zrytec ,benedryl) for less than 3yrs I guess.We use nasonax and eye drops just for three weeks during his first onset of allergic rhinitis.He didn't have any reactions to immunizations.After that I came to know about homeopathy and immediately I went o see him.Since then till now he is on homeopathic treatment Its been 4 yrs he's been off all those allopathic medication; I don't even remember what creams I used on him. In the next grass pollen allergy season, I let my son suffer rather than giving him mediation.Amazingly he did pretty well for the last three grass pollen season even playing soccer on peaktime; no significant symptoms.Its really frustrating to know how he is now on a way to developing asthama despite my hard effort.I didn't use even a bit of cream during homeopathic aggravation.The remedies I used was sulphur(6c,12c,30c,200c) phosphorus(12c,30c), Mez(12c,30c) med(12c,30c) psorinum(12c,30c)pulstilla(12c,30c) rhus tox(12c,30c).Sulphur Iodide(200c) Bacilum(200c) Sulphur 6c did pretty good job for 4 months ;its worked as if a miracle to the skin.Afterthat I don't know all these remedies work for few days or week then didn't work.

Ok the drug that had the 'miracle' result is pimecrolimus. It is a fairly advanced anti-inflammatory drug. One of the strategies in managing cases where there has been drug interference is to give the drug in potency (as a homoeopathic medicine) but I do not know of a remedy made out of that drug.
So another option would be to try and understand what is going on in the case that the other homoeopath has missed. Can you give a complete history from *conception* (yep that far back), talking about the stresses and problems that occurred during pregnancy, during birth, during the first few years of life.
It appears that the homoeopath may have been restricting him or herself to skin remedies - that may be too narrow a focus. Can you describe your child in detail, character, fears, anxieties, issues, school, home, relationships - everything.
So another option would be to try and understand what is going on in the case that the other homoeopath has missed. Conception: easily conceived, first trimester I was pretty emotional,often miss home and family, used to get mad with husband for his work related travel cause I was left alone.Second and third trimester went pretty well. I had a wisdom tooth removed during second trimester and was on anatabiotics.
Birth: Wished to have normal delivery but end up c-section cause the baby was big especially his head.I was scared/stressed when I couldn't deliver normally.I was emotional often cry alot for the first few week after dlivery cause I realize how much you love your child and how parents scarifice everything /love unconditionally for a baby.I really felt that for my own parents.
First few years- We were using the creams for the first few months so the skin was clean and clear.He was breastfed for 9 months.I did completely cut off nuts and dairy from my diet.But once the child was introduced to solid at 9months, there comes stresses. He was allergic to many many food.I used a special kind of milk called neutromygen thinking that it won't effect him.But the baby was constantly scratching and rashes.hives which we suppressed with ofcourse eladel.Besides he used to have so much dandruff.Once the allergist put him into totally hypoallergic milk all those rashes/dandruff disappear.This happened around 9months old.After that we didn't face that much problem with rashes cause he was eating only non allergic food.I do remember though using steroidal creams once a day.He is a very reactive child.I often gave him antihistamine/apply cream for every rash he used to get.Once we started homeopathy; I was completely aware of what I was doing and stopped the medication totally.He stopped getting rashes on his face more often a big plus point. Child's character:
My child is very cheerful, social, friendly,talkative, energetic,smart, manupulative,stubborn and very bright .Nomatter how much he suffers he never complains once.His smiles keeps me not going back to steroidal treatment.He loves to watch cartoons, documentary, interest on geography, science, read books, plays balls(soccer,football basketball).However he hates climbing, biking etc etc.Despite his interrupted sleep, he is always fresh energetic and above his grade level doing the best at school.He has this very good explaining power as if a teacher.Besides he has a good spirit.His teacher says he is very motivated and enthusiastic learner and eager to share his knowledge.As he has restricted diet; i can't say his likes/dislikes.But dietician says he is getting the best from all fruits/vegies whatever he is eating..He loves meat chicken and somewhat spicy food.He likes to drink ice water and chew ice cubes!!.(phos property).
He is sensitive to heat .He turns red even slight rise in temp. He scratches and sweat which aggravates the eczema.He does scratches if somebody explains for his wrong doing;stress made him scratch.But he isn't a sensitive kid.Strong smells makes him scratch; this sensitivity was more when he was little. .I guess very cold wind gives him tears.He is easily catching cold.The RAD so far is cause of virus.We 've noticed him coughing beginning of fall, all winter and spring.Eczema worsens when sweaty and usually when goes to bed or middle of the night(around 11-1 to 2a.m).Sleeping position is all sides no particular side.I guess for the last few yrs homeopath was dealing with his skin issues cause thats the only issuehe had besides food allergy and pollen.Pollen allergy has almost resolved with homeopathy.Once he started coughing, he also introduced Bacillum, typhoid remedy one at a time(classical homeopath).He used 200cSulphur only when needed which aggravated him so badly for few months.Sctarching is everywhere but especially the back of the knee,neck and joints now. Before homeopathy we can distinguish the aggravation of eczema with new food he eats.Now he scrateches eventhough he doesn't eat allergic food,so confusing.Its hard to know whether he has outgrown some food allergies.I guess I have provided enough details.Pls let me know if you have more questions.
