7 years old - Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD)
Hello Doctors,My daughter was diagnosed with ADD when she was around 3.5 years old. We are taking homeopathy treatment for her since then. She is also undergoing occupation therapy, physio therapy and speech therapy.
Her current symptoms (in order of severity) are:
– Difficult concentration
– Highly and easily distracted
– speech apraxia
– can’t remember or describe events
– Impulsive
– Restless
Certain attributes:
– Gap between teeth
– Likes eggs and meat
– doesn’t like to cover herself while sleeping unless it is cold
– in-toeing feet
– mild hypotonia (low muscle tone) (this is improving)
Homeopathic treatment till now has not helped with the above condition of lack of concentration, distraction and speech. It has so happened that every change in medicine has brought in some new symptoms. I remember that her speech was clear when we started with homeopathic treatment.
Please help with repatriation and your suggestions of medicine/potency/dosage.

Any aggravation factors or bettering factors like time, temperature, pressure, rubbing, washing, eating, tight clothing, movement, climate, music, consolation, thunderstorm, exam or other important events, smell, noise,light etc.?
How does she react to heat or cold?
Cravings/aversions?
Appetite, thirst, sleep, fears or any peculiar habits or mannerism?
Any major diseases running into the family?
How did she fare with her different developmental milestones?
Any vaccine reaction?

We are not sure about aggravation factors. However, here is some more detail about her:
- She changes her cloths even when they are slightly wet
- She likes to dance
- Feels more heat. When she feels heat she changes and likes to wear loose cotton dress
- Doesn't like tight cloths
- loves to take bath and playing with water
- She rarely gets perspiration. Even though we live in a very humid place, she hardly gets perspiration
- Thirst and appetite is normal. Eats regular meals
- Likes home cooked meal
- Doesn't like too spicy food
- Likes tomato ketchup
- Doesn't understands any smell
- Very alert about some of the sounds of interest. Can catch sound of mobile ring in the middle of traffic noise and lets me know about it. Also captures a murmur if it was of interest to her (like going out to play or have ice-cream). However, doesn't get moved by cracker sound. Doesn't look up if she hears an airplane or helicopter sound. Doesn't even asks what that sound was.
- She likes music. Starts dancing whenever any music/song is played
- She use to chew her lower lip. This has improved. Now she does that sometimes
- Earlier she was very afraid of goat and dog. So much that she use to scream and cling me or her mother. That is not there any more. Now she gets back and change path if she sees a dog
- Her sleep is around 6-7 hours in night. 1-2 hours afternoon nap. gets up fresh and happy.
- Her grandfather was a angina patient and her grandmother was suffering from hypertension
- She did well with her milestones like rolling over, crawling and walking. However, her speech, gross motors and fine motors are delayed. Speech is still not clear and that is preventing her from developing her vocabulary
- teathing was delayed
- Mannerism - When she meets any one (even stranger) she has set questions to ask. She will first ask 'kahan ja rahe ho?' ('Where are you going?') and irrespective of the answer, she will ask 'kyun?' ('Why?'). I think, she wants to converse, but doesn't really know what to say.
- Not sure about vaccine reaction. However, she has got all the mandatory vaccines in India till 9 month of age
- She has repeatative questions
- Easily forget what we teach. Learns with difficulty.

Start her on Sepia 30c. Do not give any other homeopathic medicine during this treatment.
Dissolve three pills or drops of this medicine(sepia 30c) in 250 ml packaged drinking water bottle. From this bottle(that is after dissolving the medicine in the water bottle) pour out 90% of contents and keep the remaining 10% inside. To the remaining 10%, add fresh packaged drinking water(avoid chlorinated water) and fill upto the neck of the bottle leaving two centimetres of empty space for air bubbles.
From this Medicinal Solution, give her one teaspoon as a dose. From the second dose onwards, shake this bottle up and down and hit the bottle against a bound book or innerside of your other arm for 4 times just before dosing.
Give her two doses per week giving 3 or 4 days between doses.
Periodically keep me posted about the changes.
