I have been giving her antibiotics since three days her blisters are gone. Her ear looks much better now.
She is not telling anything about itching. She dosn't even want to talk about her ear. It is getting hard to get feedback from her.

Once,started,use the full course of antibiotics as suggested by allopathic doctor.
If and when symptoms return,come back at the hint of first signs of the trouble recurring.

Better to wait for anti-biotic treatment to be over.
Your daughter does need a constitutional homeopathic treatment for long run improvement in health.

I also suffered with swimmer's ear as a youngster. I finally got rid of it with one dose of PSORINUM as an adult. Lower potency below 1M. Sometimes more than one dose may be necessary, but never closer than two weeks. This remedy works for a long period of time. When she goes swimming, (and not until well,) rinse both ears out with half water and alcohol, with dropper and dry well. I continue to take one dose once a year. Sabra

Hi everybody,
My daughter is done with her antibiotics for that superficial skin infection as i explained. All the blisters are gone.
Her itching is still the same. but no discharges. only blood comes when she scratches.(outer ear only which is visible.)
I have calc.carb 200 c now.
Should i give her one dose and see the response? The remedy is from india., small pellets. How many should i give her?
Or should i try mulien oil.
It works for itching or not i don't know.

before Pankaj wakes up I will add my two cents:
I believe mullein oil is good for middle ear infection-not itching of the outer ear.
Did her symptoms change after antibiotics (except that blisters are gone)? Is the external ear (both?) still red and itchy?

Hello Astra,
As i told you itching is deep inside the ear where she can reach by boring her little finger. That boring is causing wound in the visible ear part. that is bloody. that also while getting scabs( or crust i don't know what to name)she is taking the scabs out and it's not healing.
Sometimes i feel like " Am i clear to everybody in explaining"
You think mullien oil doesn't work for itching inside the ear(inner ear or outer ear.)

Hello everybody i gave my daughter calc. carb 200c three days back.
Her ear itching is very less now, yesterday she got itching with less intensity only one time.
No aggravations observed.

Sorry Dr. Varma, for not giving feedback.
I gave calc carb 200 c on 3rd of nov. It worked after 24 hours. She got very less times itching.
So after 10 days she started itching again, so i gave her another dose again 14th of nov. I will post feedback.

Calcarea Carb 200 is again working for my daughter, she is not itching now.
But what i observed is first time it worked in 24 hours, she was itching only 1 time in a day.
But for the second dose it worked after two days.
Eventhough you said to give the second dose after 15 days,
I gave her after 10 days because i read in a homeopathy book that the second dose may be given when the symptoms return.
I hope the itching won't come again after the second dose stops working.
I will post as soon as her syptoms return.

You are absolutely right....give the next dose when the symptoms return is the rule.
With Cal. Carb 200 I was expecting the symptoms to return in about two weeks....so the suggestion.
The second rule is....when a potency of the chosen med stops benefiting (after repeated use).....move up to the next higher potency
i.e. in your daughter's case Cal. Carb. 1M.

can i try plussing method for my daughter and see whether it works?
I don't have 1M and i am too afraid to go to 1m potency.
Can you explain how to do it?
My daughter's not having itching right now after the 2nd dose of calc. carb. I gave her on 14th of nov.

single dose (2 pellets)only hepar 30c--only once
start daily probiotics supplementation (udo's choice super 5 lozenge)
child is to avoid --all breads;white sugar products;all acidic foods and drinks (tea;alcohol based products;coffee;vinegar;fruits and juices;all carbonated soft drinks;...etc)
can alter restrictions and bring back into diet as symptoms stablize and observe improvemnet--take note of what dietary items give any kind of reaction..;

Would like to check fully for Hepar Sulph. symptoms before asking you to accept John's suggestion.
Does the girl have pus discharge in the left ear?
we were all along talking of the right ear!
you said she has sweat on palms and feet....is that right?
how she feels in winter...very chilly or not?
will you term her behaviour as querrelsome or docile/peaceful/collaborative etc????
