Hello Sameer,
How are you? I am back with more guidance from you on my son's health. Its been 17 days since I gave him Pulsatilla 200c. In the last one week, there was no change in his behavior. Overall, I think, he has been doing fine. Quite like any other child at his age. I didnot try any new food and since the weather here is getting a little on the colder side, we didnot go to the park. So, I don't know if his allergies/asthma are any better. There were no eruptions on his skin. I also wanted to inform you that I use moisturiser for him. Its not a medicine. So I hope its alright to use it, especially due to the weather change.
Please advice on next step. Thanks a lot.

Hi Sadhna,

I am doing fine.

So, have you seen any troublesome mental or physical symptoms over the past week ?

sameervermani last decade
Sameer, I did not in specific see any troublesome mental or physical symptoms.

However, when he is upset, he does cry a lot & hes immediately got to be attended to. He continues tbe scared of dark. Also, I have not seen any eczema coming back, so that I could say that yes its all coming out now. I wonder if that pattern is a must. I don't feel there is a change in his behavior over the last one and a half weeks. Should we try the next medicine now? What is the next step? Please advise.
Best Regards & many thanks.

Does he share his favorite objects or food easily ?

How sympathetic is the child to other's problems ? e.g. What does he do if you are in pain ?

Does he have great insecurity which causes anxiety and caution in any dangerous situation ?

Does he pay abnormal attention to your responsibilities, for example he double checks the mother about things ?

Does he also have great concern for the parent's health ?

Does he have a DESIRE TO REMAIN IN CONTROL AT ALL TIMES owing to his insecurity ?

Is he often thirsty for small sips of water ?

'Does he share his favorite objects or food easily ?'
No

'How sympathetic is the child to other's problems ? e.g. What does he do if you are in pain ?'
It does not catch his attention for too long. He does not care much. But he saw a dead squirrel on the road some time back - it had died when crossing the road & he still remembers it & talks about it.

Does he have great insecurity which causes anxiety and caution in any dangerous situation ? If something does catch his attention, it does make him overcautious, insecure & anxious, but usually he does not care. I am not very sure. I guess I need to observe more. Or you could specify some situations, so that I could comment.

Does he pay abnormal attention to your responsibilities, for example he double checks the mother about things ?
No
Does he also have great concern for the parent's health ?
Not much.

Does he have a DESIRE TO REMAIN IN CONTROL AT ALL TIMES owing to his insecurity ?
Yes
Is he often thirsty for small sips of water ?
Yes

Sameer, for your queries, where I have not replied in yes/no, I am not too certain. Its not easy to answer those queries for certain for him

sadhna last decade
Okay let me put it this way, is he in general a very insecure child , where he has anxiety from a lot of small things e.g. about being alone, or about being sick ?

You can observe him more over the next few days, and answer after that.

sameervermani last decade
for those two aspects ie. for example about being left alone at home or getting sick & having to cough & take inhaler for that, vomiting after eating some food he is allergic to - he is quite anxious & insecure about these. He is an extrovert & talks to anyone without a care. You could say that he is attention seeking in his behavior. Quite intelligent & talkative boy. He will usually add no to everything we say & repeat it to us.

Pulsatilla is coming up as his remedy, so we need to wait longer.

Keep on waiting, and update me in 10 days.

sameervermani last decade
alright, will get back to you. Thanks.

Hi Sameer

Would request you to let me know what medicine we will be giving next(in case we have to), so that I could get the same from the store here (before we move to Ohio at the end of this month).

As for my child, for the last few days, he is the same. He had a very short duration coughing with very slight nose run last evening but was alright today. My daughter also has a little runny nose since last two three days, so maybe he was catching some infection. Rest is all as before. When he is a little upset, he cries so much & gets all red & coughing. He is a very sensitive child emotionally.

Looking forward to your reply. Many thanks.

Hi Sameer!

A very Happy Diwali to you & your family! May the year ahead be filled with joy & prosperity for you.

I had ordered the Pulsatilla 1M & it should arrive tomorrow. I wanted to ask you if I should go ahead & give it when it arrives. Also, should I give only 1 dosage in the same manner as before?

As for my son, he continued to be the somewhat the same since the last time I mailed you. He sneezes a little on & off. Maybe its due to the weather - its a cold & is raining. There is also a little scratching on & off on the outer calves. Not much though. He wakes up at 3 to 3:30 a.m. to go to the toilet(or bed wets) only since the last three days. For some days prior to that, he feels a little irritated in the middle of the night & will come & sleep with his father or myself. He sleeps alright after that. Talks in a baby's tone at times to get attention. Behaviorwise, rest is all the same.

Please advise if i should I give him Pulsatila 1M tomorrow?

Thanks & regards.

We should wait for about 5 weeks from the 200c dose.

So, I think we should wait more.

And, a very Happy Diwali to you and your family as well !

Alright, then I will just keep it away till such time & get back how things are at that time. & Thank you very much for the wishes.
Best Regards.

Hello Sameer
Hope all is good with you. Ok , so we moved & our house stuff came in a day back - finally! Like I had mentioned its quite cold here & our aptt. is mostly carpeted & there is the dry heating in the aptt. My son continues to be in the same. But, he does cough after he wakes up in the evening. In the morning he continues to be rested & fresh & he wakes up & starts playing with his toys. The area around the mouth & cheeks are a little pink if one looks closely & he mentions that the area hurts. His lips are chapped so that could also be the reason for his saying that the area hurts. I think its all dry & therefore itchy as is his bottom & legs. I do have the Pulsatilla 1M. I think we should go ahead with that & see how things go from there.
Regards

Hi, I forgot to tell you, he is not scared of dark anymore. I have been giving him some pep talk & it could also be the effect of the medicines. He says he is a big boy & is not scared & can go in the dark alone! Also, he doesot crave for sweet things. He prefers to have salty, fried stuff like chips. His cough is relieved by water.

sadhna last decade
This is good progress.

Please dissolve 2 drops or 2 pills of Pulsatilla 1M in 120 ml water, stir and give him 1 spoon from there just once.

Report to me in 2 weeks.

Good luck
Sameer

Hi Sameer
Hope things have been good with you.
My computer had stopped working & that is why the delay in posting status. We have moved to Ohio & its carpetted & extremely cold here. I gave the 1m dose of pusatilla on 14th nov. One day prior to the dose, he had started attending his new school here. In his school, children play with some homemade playdough with food colors in it. I don't know if that is the reason(food colors) or the carpetting & possibly dust mite at home/school, but his legs - mainly calves & that too more left side started getting rashes, red & itchy again. It kept on increasing with days & his scratching them made them all the more worse. A few days back I had cut his nails very small, so that he doesnot keep hurting himself. I find it a little better now. But rashes are still there. Once he scratched himself the whole day on neck & got that bruised too. My daughter has a cold today, so lets see how hings turn out in two three days time. I do hope & pray to God that all will be well & that he is already at the path of recovery from his earlier ailments. More than one week back, he was also coughing a little - on & off. In terms of bahavior & sleep, I haven't noticed much change. Will get back to you on how things continue.
Best Regards.

Hi Sameer
Hope all is good with you.
just to update on my son's condition. He did catch a cold two days back. For the first day, he had a runny nose but that was somewhat okay by the night. Thereafter, he has been coughing. He doesnot cough all the time but whenever he does, he coughs continously, it then becomes harsh & starts hurting & starts getting breathless. a sip of water, rest & comforting helps. Since yesterday, he is also getting breathless & starts coughing if he is being active, is playing or running. His cough hurts him so much that he starts crying. Last evening I gave him steam to get the the cough out in case it has dried inside & is causing the cough. But after an hour or so he was much worse or the same. By the night he was was wheezing & breathing heavly. The wheezing stopped when he was able to sleep. Howvever, many times night, i could hear him breathing heavily or moaning and used to be better if I patted him or changed his position of sleep. Today, its the same as yesterday ie persistent harsh cough at times soothed by one sip of water & cough/breathless with little activity. Right now he is sleeping & I have not heard him cough. Meanwhile, his rashes are the same as they were three four days back.
Please advise.
Best of Regards

Just to add, if there is cold breeze coming in from somewhere, it does make him cough a little. Also, I felt that the steam I gave him last evening too aggravated his condition. Looking forward to hearing from you.
