Hi Sameer
Wanted to post status since last update after Bry 30c.

After the first three four days, there has been no change in pattern of cough. Actually there is no cough/sneezing. Only one night did he coughed three four times in his sleep.

However, his eczema has spread on both the lower legs now. He says that it is itchy.

Also, his upper lip lining & lower part of right cheek is becoming red when he was having more than half small glass of soya milk or corn food. This means that his allergies are also there. Please advise on what we could give next.

Best Regards.

Hi,

Happy new year !

Please wait for 1 more week, the improvement in cough tells that the remedy is working, and hence we should wait.

Sameer

They will go away too, we need to be patient with remedies.

Please list all the current symptoms.

sameervermani last decade
Hi
His Current symptoms :
1. Allergies : His right side of cheek near the mouth is a little red/rash like due to allergy. The allergy is perhaps due to Soya/ Wheat, which the allergist had asked us to go ahead with in very small quantities, inspite of his testing positive on them. It could also be the dust mite, since our aptt is carpetted.

2. Itchy Eczema : It is present on right leg in small patches but all over the lower leg & it has not gone or reduced since it came 2 weeks back. The left leg eczema keeps on reducing/increasing to big patches, but is always there.

3. Cough : very less, only on too much running here & there but now he doesnot ask for water immediately, cough is only two - three times. He had once or twice sneezed also some days back with lots of clear liquid sneezed out.

4. Asthma : Don't know what the status is at present. No current visible symptoms.

Looking forward to hearing from you.
With Regards.

Can you please describe his mental status these days ?

Please describe it even if you think it has not changed much, as that information is scattered across many pages of this thread.

Hi Sameer

Hope you are doing great. I will try and summarise about my son's physical, mental and emotional state. He is 3.3 years old, so please interpret accordingly :)

Mental & Emotional : Intelligent, Very sensitive to scolding, likes being touched/carried/picked up/hugged, likes to shower lots of love and hugs when he feels happy, likes paid attention to, gets excited very fast, quick, gets hurt easily, likes going out, possessive about his favourite toys(tractor, digger, train, stuffed toys like teddy bears, scissors, bike), books, jealous of elder sister, wants everything, talks to even strangers but shy when introduced to - then resorts to baby talk, independent, at times even obstinate, stubborn, curious, very destructive/imaginative with his toys, books etc, for eg. breaks his cars rear portion to convert them to long bed truck, takes out all the wheels.. doesnot like it if I praise his sister - says that he doesnot know anything & then again if I try and teach him some alphabet, he will write it with ease and close the book saying that he knows it all. he picks up fast but lacks patience and attention. he likes younger children. He will talk with & play with thechild, but will not give his favourite toy to the child - if required can snatch it back as well.

Physical : Average height, slim built, fair, is and looks naughty, you know about the asthma/wheezing (on mucus accumulation after getting viral infection/ingesting allergic food smoke), allergies(dust mite, milk, egg, peas, beans....) & eczema. Little swelling under eyes with veins showing under eyes and on neck area. Used to sneeze & cough a lot but I feel that is better now. Thanks to you :) Likes to drink cold water but gets a chill if not covered in cold weather(shivers a lot), fares very well in warm weather with no asthma, coughing or rashes. But once I did feel that taking warm steam after catching cold made him wheeze. Wet cold weather used to aggravate, but haven't noticed this of late.

The medicines we have given till now :

Before connsulting you :

Tuberculinum 200, Bio Combination

After Consulting you given(in this order):

Phosphorus 30c, 200c
Calcarea Carb 30c, 200c
Pulsatilla 30c, 200c,1M
Bryonia Alba 6c, 30c - given on 25th Dec.

Also, you had mentioned earlier, we might need Silicea, Lycopodium or Ars Album.

Do please let me know if you have any more questions. I am really looking forward to further improving his health with your advice.
Best of Regards.

Okay then, 3 doses of Lycopodium 30c equally spaced by 30 minutes on a single day. Each dose = 1 teaspoon.

Report in 1 week.

I am looking for mental changes with this remedy as a first sign that the medicine is correct.

thanks a lot for the immediate reply. I also wanted to inform you that talkative as he might be otherwise, at school, he has never spoken a word! His teacher asks me if he speaks English. She felt that it is perhaps that he doesnot know English that he has not spoken. Also, he likes salty, fried & sweet foods. He doesnot like his teeth brushed from the inner upper side. Perhaps the gums hurt.
Please advise. & Thanks.

Go ahead with Lyc dose

Hi Sameer
Hope al is well with you.
It is now one week since we gave the 30c Lycopodium dose. In terms of mental changes, about 4 days after the dose, he was a little calm & wanted to look at his books. But the patience for any kind of repetitive learning was lacking. although, he did seem a little calm overall but in the evenings after waking up, he continued to be very irritated & crying. He was alright after I gave him some attention, held him for some time & gave goodies to eat! He was also sneezing with colorless liquid & rubbing nose on waking up in the morning. A little cough on & off was also there. But that could also be due to my letting him out to play in the snow once. At present there seem to be not much changes happening. The eczema is still there.
Kindly advise.
Thanks & Best of Regards

sadhna last decade
Please wait for 2 more weeks.

Lycopodium keeps acting for very long periods. We should see slow improvements over the course of next 15 days.

sameervermani last decade
ok, will get on how things are.
forgot to mention that when lying down to sleep at night, he gets a little runny nose last few days & then again this is true only for night nap & not afternoon/evening nap.
Once again, thanks a lot. You take great pains to help out others!
Best regards

Sameer, I had not mentioned that we used Sulphur also after Phosphorus. So, the medicines given are in the following order :

Phosphorus 30c, 200c
Sulphur 6c, 30c
Calcarea Carb 30c, 200c
Pulsatilla 30c, 200c,1M
Bryonia Alba 6c, 30c
Lyco 30c on 12th Jan

I will get back on the improvements on the next few days.

I might also need to post about my daughter later. I feel she is a little allergic to something(has been getting rashes on & off around mouth & back of calf) and might have a childhood manifestation of asthma(snores, has runny nose when lies down - kindof post-nasal drip, is very uncomfortable trying to sleep). I will continue to observe & might need to post details, so that we later don't have the problems, I am forseeing. I am very grateful that I can post for help & opinion here on the forum & you continously find the time to help us all out! Thanks a lot indeed :)

Hi Sameer
We gave Lycopodium 30c on 12th Jan. Its now nearly three weeks. Please advise if we should go ahead with 200c dose now & if so how many doses?
He was a little calm in the beginning with back to earlier noisy, destructive, naughty self thereafter. But when I get angry with him, he tries to win me back over by hugging, kissy or explaining what he was doing & why. But after two miutes its back to square one. He is not coughing now.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Regards

On the day, it has been exactly 3 weeks, please go ahead 1 single dose of

Lycopodium 200c

the dose being 1 teaspoon.

ok, thank you very much. take care

Hi Sameer
We gave Lycopodium 200c to my son 3 wks back. As of now, there is no eczema. But we got the allergy tests done again. There are some improvements since last year allergy tests. He is not allergic to dust mite, soymilk, wheat, unlike last time! However, he is very allergic to cow's milk, egg, rye & barley. It will be very good for him if we could get his milk allergy & if possible egg allergy go away. I have therfore approached you this time with a request to advice what we could do about it. I attribute his otherwise well being to your continous, attention, advice & knowledge. many many hanks. Please advice on the way forward now.
At present his behaviour is much like other boys of his age. If I really look for any specific beaviour could say that after he wakesup in the evening, he gets clingy, wants to be carried, wants to eat something, prefeably salty & fried or some kind of snacks/treats. He is ecoming a little independent. He wants to do things himself. Does not like to share his favorite toys. Has a mind of his own. Other than this its all behaviour like any other boys.

We have till now given the following medicines :

Phosphorus 30c, 200c
Sulphur 6c, 30c
Calcarea Carb 30c, 200c
Pulsatilla 30c, 200c,1M
Bryonia Alba 6c, 30c
Lycopodium 30c, 200c.

Looking forward to your reply.
Best Regards.

He is also a little destructive. Not wanting to harm others but for eg.if a crayon is stuck inseide a toys, he will take that crayon out even if it means breaking the toy.
I had read the following might be of some use for milk allergy : magnesium muraiaticum, aethusa, sephia, selicia, syphilium, ars, dulcamara, colchicum autumnale, chininum but ofcoarse it is true that each person responds differently to each medicine. Please advise what is right for him. It will be great if we can add dairy to his diet!
Waiting for your reply.
