Recurrent bronchitis in a child Page 12 of 13

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Hi! Cough and nasal discharge are gone, her nose still sounds blocked, sometimes snores at night, but less frequently, I'd say snoring is approx. 50% better. Her mood and energy level are restored.

Please update in a week, we may need another dose.

Hi! Her condition is pretty much the same as it was 10 days back, still snores and sleeps with her mouth open. Her issues now seem to be concentrated in her tonsils, the lymph nodes in the front part of her neck are enlarged, there's still black coloring on some of her teeth, and her toenails look grooved. She has had no bronchitis for approx. 6 months and no lesions of atopic dermatitis for approx. 10 months. Good mood, appetite and energy level.

Hi! My kid got sick again yesterday. It started with sneezing, then woke up at night with laryngeal cough. Cough became infrequent and loose during the day. Nose is running, discharge is colorless. Last night she complained of pain in her right ear, but today she says it doesn't hurt any more. Her cough today is rather dry, though varies. Her appetite, energy level and mood are normal. Should I give her anything or wait? Last dose I gave her was Tuberculin 200c on Nov. 27th.

Observe for a day or so, let her system fight it. If things start to worsen, give a dose of Tub 200c.

Hi, her cough was very frequent and dry for a day or so then became loose and less frequent, I didn't give her Tub200C. She has not recovered completely though, still coughs from time to time and has nasal discharge, yellow and thick. She has no problem with it during the day, but at night sleeps with her mouth open and snores loudly. She seems to be producing more saliva and doesn't swallow it when asleep but lets it flow out of her mouth and wets her pillow. Also, lesions of atopic dermatitis appeared on both her wrists two days back. They don't feel itchy. Mood, appetite and energy level are normal.

Just observe for now, if anything worsens (mood, energy level, appetite) update me.

Hi! Lesions of atopic dermatitis got very worse for several days, they also appeared on her legs, then they started to fade. Now they are nearly gone. Her nose is very obstructed though, she sniffles a lot, especially when she lies down, but there is no nasal discharge. Breathes through her mouth and snores at night. Lymph nodes are still enlarged. Her mood, energy level and appetite are normal. Shall I give her anything?

Give her a dose of Tub 200c, just one dose and keep me posted of changes.

Hi! Her condition remained the same until yesterday morning when she woke up with a barking cough. Her cough yesterday was infrequent, nasal discharge appeared, nose is still blocked and breathes through her mouth. She had appetite and her energy level was good. She vomited once before going to bed. At night she had fever, not very high - 38C, coughed rarely. Today she has fever at times, her energy level dropped, wants to lie down, sometimes feels chilly and wants to be covered. No appetite. Her cough is still infrequent, sounds dry to me. I'm trying to keep her well hydrated and also make her do inhalations. Shall I give her any homeopathic remedy? I gave her last dose of Tub200c 10 days ago.

What changes were observed after the last dose of Tub on the 19th.

Give an update on all symptoms.

Lesions on her skin are gone.
Her nose remained obstructed and she continued to snore at night and breathe through her mouth most of the time, no changes in this symptom until yesterday morning when they got worse.
Enlarged lymph nodes - no change.
Enlarged adenoids - no change.
Enlarged tonsils - no change.

So there was absolutely no change in the tonsils/adenoids after the Tub dose?

fitness 9 years ago
I didn't detect any changes though I've been observing her closely. About adenoids I can only judge by her mouth breathing which remained unchanged. Her tonsils also look the same.

Please give her a dose of Sil 200c.

Hi! I gave her Sil200c on Sunday, but things continued to got worse, I mean, she competely lost appetite, very low energy level, fever got higher - 38.5-39C, vomited several times, especially on Monday she had no strength, so we took her to a doctor. They made an X-Ray which showed an onset of bronchitis, so she was prescribed antibiotics which we started giving to her last night (Monday evening). She's still weak and has no appetite, barely eats anything. She's had bronchitis before but it has never affected her energy to such an extent.

There are a couple of limitations in treating your daughter:

1. Difference in time zone
2. Lack of timely udpate from you

We are up against your daughter's susceptibility to ENT infections which is in its 3rd generation (starting from her grand parents). There are congenital pathological changes i.e. the 3rd tonsil.

Its a case which requires a huge & timely effort.

An internet forum with its inherent limitations adds another layer of complexity.

Yes, I know that it's almost impossible to address acute conditions in this way. The good thing is that she didn't develop asthma which was my major concern in the first place. Now I'm trying to avoid having her third tonsil removed because if it stays like this, we'll probably have to. Thanks for everything you've done for us!
