Sir,
I think your selection of Nat Mur is dead on. I noticed that it also has some effect on the heart. I've been noticing a sort of poking feeling the cardiac region. I hope it will eventually lead to a cure of my angina pains.

Kind, wait and see is the best approach but it gets tricky when aggravations, even provings hang on. with a wet dose of c potency, i have experienced provings but they are less severe than with a dry dose. after the fact, i learned that sensitives are best to start with a wet dose of the LM potency. it's comforting to know we have more options.
cheers!

Natcam,
Good to hear from you. I don't know! I'm at my wits end really. Nothing seems to be kicking the nux overdose. I hope time will, but the symptoms are so virulent at times it gets frustrating. I've learned my lesson though. No more dry dosing! Stay tuned, I'll be haranguing Mr. Murthy until either I'm back to health or the poor fellow gets so tired of my complaints he stops responding!

Mr. Murthy,
Hello again. Last dose of Nat mur held until yesterday. That is about 4 days. Then relapse to nux attack. Any suggestions? Thanks.

thekind78 last decade
O.K.

Repeat the succussed water dose every third day. That means a gap of two days.

We will not change the medicine now.

Report after a week, or earlier if necessary.

Sir,
Thank you for your reply. I hope you aren't discouraged by your detractors. You have been an immense help to me. I don't know what course I would have taken without your assistance. Thanks again.

Mr. Murthy,
Can you speculate as to why this proving/aggravation is lasting so long? Thank you.

Mr. Murthy,
I was reviewing Ignatia. I came upon some very similiar symptomology. Above and beyond the main ones we have been discussing - angina and ineffectual urging - I saw that it was a grief remedy. Also, jerking of limbs before sleep is something that I've had on and off my whole life. I've noticed that Nat Mur has somewhat aggravated the situation. What are your thoughts? I know it is earlier than you said, but I got very excited to see the description!

Sir,
I've noticed that I also fit the problem of achilles-tendon pains. Quite peculiar, but its something I've noticed recently.

Hi Kind

I will be back on Tuesday.

Meanwhile try to recollect and document the effect of nat.mur so far, starting from the beginning.

After taking a dose, how long it is taking for the remedy action to start?

How long it is holding?

Are the symptoms returning exactly the same way?

Is there any change in the period the medicine is able to hold back the symptoms?

Does the intensity and duration of the symptoms seem to be less in intensity or not, compared to the beginning?

Give a candid reply. If you got some benefit, say so. If you feel overall there is no change, I don't mind that feed back also.

Either way correct feedback is important.

Your case is a test to my skills as a homeopath. I will try my best to help you.

Hi drjitesh

I understand from your profile that you are still a student, and most probably you are related to Dr.Deosholok.Perhaps you are his son.

Welcome to the wonderful world of homeopathy. There is a lot to learn and take my advice.Don't be in a haste to prescribe and comment on other's prescriptions.

watch the proceedings closely for a few weeks, understand the patients and prescribers, and start very very slowly, with lot of circumspection.

Try to read and understand every word of Organon and Kent's philosophy and you may have to read them many times till every thing is clear to you.

All the best.

Plumbum will work if there is paralytic condition in the rectum. It happens when the Constipation has been for too long.

I beleive only symptomatic treatment without a even a little knowledge of human anatomy will in the last not succeed.

Knowledge of the area of work in the body of the Twelve Salts is essential.

Every medicine has a specific area of its activity and this also cannot be ignored.

Rajendra last decade
Dear Rajendra,
You are right. Yes you used the brain. Plumbum act on the nervous system, due to fail of contraction and relaxation of anal muscles . The plumbum met is a very good medicine for recover the paralytic condition of the intestine. due to taking lot of purgetive medicine like isbagol, triphala, lot of water, lot of Ayurvedic, allopathic drugs, will generally ruin the nerve of intestinal area and increases the loss of sensation on that area. Stool remain on that area and you feel constipation. In this time brain is known to that area because due to less sensation or weak nerve on that area. Your osmosis of the the intestines is very slow. Constipation patientÂ’s urine flow is more than the normal . If urine will be more then you feel constipation. More the urine more the constipation. Therefore Plumbum met is the right medicine to remove the paralysis (Paralysis - the complete loss of muscle function for one or more muscle groups or loss of sensation on that area) of the intestines and remove the constipation permanently . This medicine can be tried 3x to cm potency.

Mr. Murthy,
Hope you are doing well. Here is where my condition stands as of today:

1) reverse peristalsis- no longer an issue
However, there appears to be a constriction of the
rectum/anus which is causing thin and scant stools.
Contraction of the rectum/anus after stools as well.
2) angina symptoms seem to be intermittent. Sticking pain in
the heart region. Followed by, or alongside,
numbness, tingling down the left arm. I am really
concerned about this. These symptoms have all the
hallmarks of angina. However, they are not aggravated
by exertion. Rather, they come intermittently.

This is where I stand today. I've noticed that I'm developing
some proving symptoms of Nat Mur - or so I think. These
include: jerking of limbs at night before falling asleep,
stringy mucous from the nose in the mornings, and
sometimes stools are unusually dry.

I thank you as always for your help and sincere efforts.

What about the headaches you used to get after an unsatisfactory bowel movement?

When did you take the last dose of nat.mur?

Murthy

gavinimurthy last decade
Mr. Murthy,
The headaches remain. They seem however to come with straining due to rectum constriction as opposed to reverse peristalsis/blood rushing to the head. I took my last dose of Nat Mur two Friday's ago.

thekind78 last decade
o.k.

we wait for another week, and see if there is going to be further progress.

Don't take any more medicine.

Murthy

gavinimurthy last decade
Mr. Murthy,
In your honest opinion, will I ever be able to get over this Nux dosing? Even now, almost 6 months later, I am still experiencing Nux symptoms. These are the angina symptoms and the disordered stomach an hour after lunch accompanied by ineffectual urge to stool. The latter symptom is peculiar since it occurs only after lunch. Nonetheless, I am sure it is of Nux origin. It fits with the 'lump in the stomach an hour after eating' symptom. I have no idea why I am so sensitive to medicines. I am 5'10'' and 175lbs! Is there a way to cure this? Taking Nux again will only compound the situation, correct? I read and re-read how to antidote and there are conflicting reports - some say take medicine in higher potency some say lower. I am at a loss. Trying to be patient, but I think by next week I will wash my hands of all this homeopathy and just leave it up to fate. Thanks for your help.

thekind78 last decade
Mr. Murthy,
I take multivitamins which contain copper. Do you think this could be prolonging the Nux symptoms? Thanks for your insights.
