Are we done with any more carcinosin, or could this possibly show up again later? Just wondering since I had such a good reaction to it.
I have read that this is like layers of an onion and each one has to be treated differently. Is that right? I hope this isn't a stupid question, but how do you know when you have found the center or root cause (or maybe the final constitutional remedy). Does it depend on how old you were when you had the original symptom? For example, when I was 6 or 7 years old I had scarlet fever. Will I get symptoms of this the closer we get to the cure? Also, is it possible that some of the symptoms can come back again later on even if they have already been treated with a remedy?
Sorry for all the questions! I'm very curious and I have always felt the need to know all the answers, impossible as it is!

You can find this at whole foods.
It is like removing the pieces of a jigsaw puzzle, and my feeling is that one of the pieces is Lachesis. Past symptoms can come up during treatment and that will be a good sign.

I saw my doctor today and I'm supposed to be on an anti-inflammatory and pain reliever for about a week or so along with alternating heat and ice. It looks like I have definitely aggravated the herniated disc in my neck.
I purchased the Lachesis. Should I start to take it as you suggested or do you think the drugs will interfere?

My suggestion would be to take the Lachesis now and wait for 5 days before going on anti-inflammatory if needed.

I hadn't seen your post yet and I had started taking the anti-inflammatory yesterday. They gave me a shot at the doctor's office and then I took it twice more at home.
I'm not one to run to the doctor and I have never liked taking meds since I'm really sensitive to them, but the pain was SO bad that I had to do something. I usually have a pretty high pain threshold but not this time! I must say that I got immediate relief from it, but it was ruining my stomach!
I have stopped taking it after only one day due to the stomach problem and the pain is starting to come back in my neck and arm. I am going to start on Lachesis as you suggested.
Do you think that since I already took the anti-inflammatory for one day that it will interfere with the Lachesis?
I will wait to hear from you before I take it.

-neck, shoulder and arm getting better slowly but surely
-skin seems a little better
-feeling very sad and depressed like before we started any remedies. Today I feel like I'm starting to withdraw again somewhat.
-feeling pressure in middle of forehead behind eyes again
-weight still isn't budging at all which is really bothering me
-continue to have strong cravings for chocolate(cravings disappeared after taking carc 30c but came back again after taking carc 200c)
-OCD still a problem
-feeling of weakness in my chest
-feeling overwhelmed by everything that needs to be done, even if it's small.
-every movement seems like a monumental effort
-Still feeling paralyzed inside

I forgot to mention above that I'm extremely sensitive to environmental and chemical odors still.

Oh yeah, my boyfriend says that I sigh A LOT. I didn't realize this and I'm not sure if it means anything but I thought I would mention it before I forget.

It has been 2 weeks since taking lachesis 30c. Here is my update:
-I have felt some relief with my neck and shoulder pain. The nerve pain runnung down my left arm is still there a bit and 3 of my fingers are numb.
The report came back that I have degeneration in four discs in my neck with arthritis and narrowing of the spinal column. They want to do an MRI to see the herniated disc.
-I've been feeling very agitated and slightly irritable for the past 2 weeks. Like an inner tension. I'm not sure if this remedy is agreeing with me mentally and emotionally
-I feel like I'm becoming more sad and depressed than before, like I'm withdrawing again.
-Very tired, shaky and overwhelmed by things that need to be done
-Diarrhea just about every day
-Very strong cravings for chocolate and sweets
- Empty feeling in stomach immediately after eating a full meal
-I take prilosec every day for a stomach ulcer and get terrible heartburn if I miss a dose. I'm not sure if I mentioned before that I have an enlarged liver.
-In the past 2 weeks I've had sinus pressure with headaches, pain behind eyes in middle of forehead. Almost feels like pressure in the middle of my brain.
-Hirsutism is still bad
-The roof of my mouth feels sore and bruised at times. I've had this for many years.
-I have allergies to different metals and gold is the only one I can wear but lately I've noticed my gold jewelry turning my skin green.
-Something very interesting that I have noticed is the whites of my eyes are starting to show bluish gray shadows on the inside corners of each eye
-motion sickness
Two things I remembered from childhood:
-I got very sick after a vaccination when I was very young. I'm not sure what it was, but I think it was some sort of booster shot around age 6 or so. I'm not 100% sure but I think it was the one that they give in the top of the arm and causes a permanent indentation in your skin. I'm not sure exactly what happened because my mother would never talk about it, but my sister said that I passed out in the shower and I was pretty sick for a while.
-At about age 9 I was given Sulfa drugs for a kidney infection. They made me extremely ill with vomiting and I blew up like a balloon. I think it has been since that time that I've been very sensitive to chemicals.
-I know I mentioned that diabetes runs in my family, but I'm not sure if I mentioned that cancer runs in both sides of my family. Blood cancers(mainly leukemia) on my father's side and uterine and colon cancer on my mother's side.
-I feel like I keep waiting for a good day when I will feel well, even if it's just for a few hours, but it never seems to come.
I hope this information is helpful.

I also wanted to add that today isn't such a good day. All I can do is stay in bed and feel very weak and shaky.
I feel like I'm going downhill a bit and need some relief somehow. Not sure what to do for this.

First of all, let us anti-dote the Lachesis a bit, as I do not think it is taking things in the right direction.
Please take 3 doses of Calcarea Carb 6c equally spaced by 30 mins , and report in 5 days.
Each dose = 1 tsp, and dosing procedure is the same.

-Also feeling a little calmer inside
-I noticed that even before taking this remedy, my acne problem was starting to get worse again especially on my neck and jawline. Large cystic type acne that starts out hard and red and eventually turns white then stays as raised white bumps for quite a long time before they heal.

This might be a stupid question, I'm not sure, but I would really like to know your opinion about this.
Today on the news I saw a report that there is an 'Obesity Virus' that has affected an estimated 1/3 of all overweight individuals. They said that this virus contains its own gene and they are trying to find something that will inactivate this gene.
My concern is that when I was around 25, I gained about 50 lbs in a matter of months without changing my eating habits and since then I have found it practically impossible to lose this weight. I've tried many diets and exercising when I have felt well and nothing has ever worked.
Another characteristic is that these people are also more prone to diabetes (which I have had since age 36), and typically their cholesterol & triglyceride levels are usually low, which mine are. I thought this was very interesting.
I'm not saying I have this virus, but it sounds very familiar and if I do, can homeopathy help this problem if there is a gene involved?
Could you give me your thoughts about this? I know you're busy with a lot of cases but I would really like to know what you think since this has been such a problem for me.
