Hi Sameer,
I'm updating you today as planned.
- My skin is still a lot better - probably 75% better than it has been for a very long time(years).
- hirsutism seems to be a little better
- Mentally and emotionally I am doing okay - not the feeling of peaceful happiness or joy as before, but not really depressed or as sad as I was either. I did have an instance 2 days ago where I just started crying out of the blue and it was an overwhelming feeling that life is just too hard for me to handle. The feeling went away very quickly. I believe this is how I've been feeling for many years but I have never really said those words to myself before. I have kind of just kept it all buried inside. Tears are actually coming to my eyes as I write this but I don't have an overwhelming feeling of sadness right now like I used to. I think this could be a good thing.
-I went to bed with a sinus headache last night and still have it today. Same headache as usual with pressure behind my eyes, esp. left eye.
- Still having strong cravings for chocolate
- OCD
- Weight is still an issue as always. I have been walking and eating gluten free foods,fruits, veggies, no sodas of any kind only water,very low sugar & no artificial sweeteners, unsweetened almond milk(not regular milk due to a milk allergy)but weight is still not budging.
-My uterus is still enlarged which makes me think I'm having some kind of hormonal imbalances which could be affecting my weight problem
- I have a feeling of fatigue in the center of my chest most of the time. At times it seems like it's hard to get a breath in.
- Still having a feeling that life has passed me by and is going too quickly. Upset that I haven't been able to accomplish very much. Aging is really bothering me and I'm only 42. Also still having feelings of mistrust.
I'm definitely having some improvements!
Do you think the improvement with my skin problem is from the carcinosin or the silica that I took just before it?

I think we would have seen more mental improvements by now, had Carcinosin LM3 been the correct step.
Please go ahead with the Pulsatilla 30 doses .

Hi Sameer,
It's a couple of days before I'm supposed to update you and I'm having kind of an acute situation. I'm wondering if you might have a suggestion for me.
I've been under a tremendous amount of stress for the past 2 days because my boyfriend is in the hospital with some medical problems and due to this stress I can't sleep,I'm extremely exhausted, I'm very shaky inside and I'm also getting a lot of burning pain in the middle of my chest which has been with me all day. The burning pain is really bothering me but I'm not getting any heart racing or pounding. I'm sure it's probably stress realted. Is there anything you could suggest to help reduce the amount of stress that I'm feeling.

What was the effect of the Pulsatilla doses before this situation arose ?

Well, I took the doses last Sunday and I felt tired right after taking them and didn't notice any other changes that day.
Monday:
- Tired still
- diarrhea all day
- OCD worse
- sinus pain & pressure
- cravings a little better
Tuesday:
- Tired
- diarrhea all day
- OCD worse
- sinus pressure
- cravings still better
Wed:
- Very stressful day spent at emergency room, exhausted & shaky with diarrhea all day, unable to sleep
Today:
- Spent most of the day in bed due to being exhausted, very stressed, and the burning pain in center of chest.

- sweating had gotten better with last couple of remedies but has come back a little
- sinus pressure
- still diahrrea
- very low stamina
- my nails had gotten better from last few remedies but are starting to peel and break again

In view of the diarrhea, I would recommend taking nothing else, as any kind of discharge is a good sign.
Update me in 1 week. Do not worry about the skin as skin conditions can worsen during homeopathic treatment.

Hi Sameer,
I'm updating you a week early because I seem to have caught a bad cold or flu from my boyfriend. He was in the hospital for 4 days and came home with the flu and now I'm getting the same symptoms:
- deep chest cough - it's kind of hard to stop coughing once I start
- runny nose
- sneezing
- watery eyes
- hot face
- red, puffy face and puffy eyes
- draining sinuses making throat a little sore
- temp. 101 degrees off and on
other symptoms:
- still extremely tired
- still no stamina at all
- everything feels like a monumental effort to accomplish
- Sat. I felt very dark and depressed
- No real feelings of emotions since Sat.
- always feel hungry after a meal, like my brain isn't signaling that I'm full- I had lost a few lbs last week but it came right back on again( I usually put on weight when I get sick)
I have 2 questions Sameer:
1) I've had late-stage lyme for 20 years. Lyme bacteria is very similar to syphilis bacteria - they are both spirochetes. In your opinion, does this mean that I might need a remedy that is anti-syphilitic at some point?
2) Do you think that Staphysagria might come into play at all?
I look forward to your thoughts on this and what you might think I need for this cold, if anything.

Hi,
Well my eyelids are puffy and actually, my whole face is puffy. I would call it water retention kind of like my body is trying to protect itself since this seems to happen every time I get sick. Up until today, my hands were puffy also. The same puffiness also happens when I'm really over tired and also with PMS.
I would say that I definitely feel better at rest, sitting, drinking cold drinks feels good on my throat, heating pad feels good on my back since I have the chills, craving food. Not able to sleep because I keep thinking of things that I need to do, so I keep getting up to do them even though I'm really tired and don't want to move. My nose is constantly running and is hot & starting to feel raw.
I'm going to start a new thread for my boyfriend. He's really feeling awful and has agreed to getting your opinion.

How long did the diarrhea last ?

Hi Sameer,
I think the diarrhea actually started before the pulsatilla but I'm still having it about once or twice a day.
Surprisingly, I haven't seen any mental improvements but I'm wondering if the weeks events interrupted my progress in any way.
What do you think?

Yes, that's true and even if I'm too tired to get up, these things will eat away at me making me eventually feel overwhelmed by everything.

I have been looking back at my case and think that I failed to mention to you that when I had the thyroid surgery last August, I ended up with a c-diff infection from the hospital which they gave me about 4 courses of flagyl for and I finally tested that it was gone months ago. I was told that it could still possibly come back. Having said that, the diarrhea seems different than with c-diff which makes me think it is not that. C-diff diarrhea is very distinct and it went on all day, very watery and everything I ate went right through me. This is no longer the case.
My memory isn't always very good, but I do believe it came on with carc LM3 and hasn't left.

Hmm.. let us try a dose of Carcinosin again then. The dosage is a bit different. See below.
Thump the Carc LM3 bottle on the palm of your hand 8 times. Then, put just 1 drop of Carc LM3 in 500 ml spring water, stir with a spoon, and take a teaspoon from there.
Report in 72 hours.
This time we will wait for as long as it takes after this dose, as I think the diarrhea brought by Carcinosin was a return of old symptom and that is invariably a good sign.
