This was silicia which I was thinking from starting to benefit the child, but waited to resolve his acute lung condition with somewhat improve immunity to start this and judge the sensitivity of child to homoeopathic medicines before started a well indicated medicine. I am hoping good recovery very soon. Best wishes niki for your child. Smaller child, malnourished, underweight, active, sweating profusely, but being a playful and easy child always indicates a silicia. Calc carb baby also does have profuse sweating but they are usually flabby, overweight, and most importantly sluggish in their action both physically and mentally and are somewhat uneasy child.

Hello Jihn , I gave first dose of Silica this morning but I made mistake of dissovling 1 pellet in 8 oz of water instead of 3/4 of 8oz.I am not sure I have given right way of thumping ,i did very slow thumping 8 times.. It's been 14 hrs after his first dose and I don't see any change in him .

It is simple niki
It is a rule remind it forever that whenever you see any change after a homoeopathic medication no further dose of the medication or any other medication is needed. Avoid any medication unless it is very urgent.

amount of water (8oz) not a problem ;as long as there is air space (1/4 of bottle) ---so if not just dump some out..next,as long as 1 pellet and amount of water as mentioned--thump /strike frim but with force 8times --strike against soft covered thick book--before using /adding to 4 oz water in drinking glass---of course then stir--the solution inthe drinking glas before givingteaspoon dose.
if no change observed in any way--such as stool increase ,mucous form,urination -appetite ....ect or any litle thing--then redose..ok?

Today I gave him 2nd dose of silicea30c . Yesterday he was little irritable in the evening but I don't see any change in his stool , mucus ,
urination and in appetite.

You ought to describe these things
For now your main concerns seems to be
Failure to thrive(poor health) measure his weight weekly and post this.
Profuse excessive head sweating (may be due to his failure to thrive or refulx)
Frequent wakening (possibly due to refulx).
Difficult breathing (how it is these days)
Frequent cold and nasal symptoms (how they are these days).
If these are normal then be patient and wait for a couple of days and watch closely.
Make a diary of his activities particularly of anything strange you notice.
What about your older child. How he is doing right now?.

i want to update about my son health,
Slight increase in head sweating .
Today he ate less and did not drink much milk .
He gets irratable sometime he wants me to be with him all the times. He shows to much anger and cry if I don,t pick him up . He likes to bang his head to sofa but yesterday he was banging so much.
I don't know what went wrong with him . He was showing early milesstone before like-Head control at 15 days , laughing and social smile at 1month, copying words at 4 months , bye bye at 5 months but at age of 6-7 months he had lost everything
now he doesnot want to say many words .

he has no nasal and chest congestion , no difficulty in breathing . he gets nasal dischrage sometimes.
My older son is ok physically but I feel he has some emotional problem .

ok--silica gave response ---dos e i tell was too large -and/or potency too low-no furtheer dosing for now allow things settle--
obtain silica LM1 not 1M but LM1 AND A 4 OZ OR 100ML AMBER GLass medicinal bottle with cap.
lets go over his health history again--
what age (in months ) he when get 1st illness?what were symptoms?how treated?

It may his usual ups and down in behaviour.

Niki manage head banging behaviour by Reward Appropriate Behavior: An increase in attention for non-head banging behavior should be given.
Ignore head-banging and do not overreact to it: Do not pay attention to it. It will discourage child's hand banging activity.
Offer Age-Appropriate toys.

Yesterday he did very bad , he was very irritable , did not sleep well wokes up so many times , profused sweating on his head , did not eat much . He is showing very slow dentition ,for last 2 months his teeth still at same position.

yeah yeah mum--i get that--but if this came on stroneger after silca dosing--dose was too large--no0 further dosing of silica --also if no mew symptoms (never observed in helah history before--then obtain the silica LM1 and4oz/100ml amber glass medicianl bottle with cap----as mentioned couple posts up--be sure LM! not 1M OK?

Another episode of cold and cough . yesterday we went outside and he got cold -runny nose and watering from eyes. No sneezing and fever
He has 2 vomits after eating food . If he eats little more then usausal then he will vomits.
-Increase in frequent wakening ,he was very irritated yesterday night which is not new thing.
-No change in stool and urine.
i want to tell that he was improved in sleeping and eating after 2 days giving of Calc carb. he slept well in the night and ate good.
But after Silica ,everything came back as before .
There is one more thing i don,t know if it is important that he tries to scratch poeple faces and pull hair.he has no patience during changing diaper and clothes , trying to run or turn on to tummy.he does not like pating or consoling .

mum--we're not going jump to any other remedy until there is an indication that silica is not needd---
face scratching and all that stuff--when last time he behave as such?think back best can....

face scratching and other stuffs are present all the times . his mood is good but needs someone with him all the times . His mood is bad mostly in the night.
