PNDHater, you haven't updated in quite a while. How's your situation now? Are you trying anything new?

Hi Everyone, i havn't posted on here for awhile but i am glad to see that everyone is updating the forum with so much useful information. I've tried the gluten free diet for like a 2 weeks and it didn't help me at all. I think that i might have possibly had some cross contamination like minimum amounts but i didn't see any changes whatsoever during the 2 week trial so i gave it up. I went to see my oral surgeon because I still need to get my wisdom teeth out and I told him about my problem and he told me that it could be a lot of factors. the usual from poor oral hygiene to diet. when he said diet it made me think about everyone's post on what diet they are trying to get rid of the problem. I'm going to try once again to switch my diet up and try this raw vegetables diet to see if it helps me. I've been very depressed lately, I started dating this girl for a month and we broke up. She was hinting that she like clean smelling guys and i knew my breath had something to do with it. I 'm so glad to have found people that understand me and how frustrating this disease is. I don't want this disease to take over my life. if any of you guys need to talk about anything from new treatment or diet ideas or to how this thing is affecting your life, please feel free to contact me at eapvic at gmail dotcom. my aim screen name is vicholdem. We're all in this together and hopefully together we can get our lives back! Thanx guys.

sorry for not keeping up with it.... and keep your head up castertroy ill be adding your aim screename so hopefully we can try 2 compare cases. there is only one thing that i know that it seems most people on here dont realize and that is that unfortunately if u want to rid yourself of this problem you will have to completely change your diet and take away every food u probably enjoy. but most of you probably already knew that, what i have realized is that this problem will take anywhere from 2 months to 2years to completely cure depending on your diet, antifungals, ect. since no one on here seems to stick with anything for longer than a week or so we have no conclusive evidence. i will be attempting a few months on just raw foods. but again if someone wants to try a different diet so we can get some ideas its critical that u realize that the bad breathe probably wont leave for months. i know we all want to have a quick cure but after a few years of battling and countless hours of research i know this to be true. hope this helps. once again earlrobinson at hotmail dot com for msn messenger.

From my experience of having this problem and a surgery done for a deviated septum I really don’t think that changing your diet and eating raw, organic or natural food is the answer. So far it’s been a month that I’ve been on those diet and I’ll admit that I have seen results but it didn’t deliver the knockout punch that I’ve anticipated. It helps slow down the PND but as far as completely eliminating it I don’t think so. I’m still going on in this diet because it’s the best thing that worked for me out there, and I don’t want to discourage anybody but this is my experience of going on those diets and dealing with it. Another thing is I really think that it’s something going on inside our bodies that are causing this problem with the PND. We have to ask ourselves what is causing that nasty mucus to constantly stream or flow to the back of our throat and get deep down to the root of it. But if anybody wants to get into depth of the whole diet method there’s this website that I’ve come across since 2004 and it gave me the most help in cultivating this problem out of anything else, there’s this nice lady there that always helps me whenever I turn to her.

I am new to the forum but I this condition I have has been with me for at least 20 yrs, however I was just made aware of my awful smell about 3yrs ago. Now I can look back and say 'no wonder' you know what I mean. I would love to angry with just about everyone I know, but where I'm from you cannot hate the player, you hate the game!! For the last 3 yrs I have done many things such as oral surgery, online natrual cures, chewed gum,ate mints, used all sorts of mouth washes and rinses, and brush for at least 5 mins 2x a day. I have been more desperate to find a cure, than to be angry, but deep down I am hurt. My life has been totally screwed by this, and sometimes I wonder if there is a way out, other than killing myself which I just absolutely refuse to do. (although it was suggested) Please help..pnd and bb healer are you still out there? The questions that you asked are 100% of my symptoms. It seems like I need try some of the remedies if not all them. How do I start? Glad to hear that others have found something that works, I am even more amazed that some are cured in as much as a week. Those that I have not, I join you in your quest to seek a cure. This is now our quest.

Hey Zeeks. I know exactly what you're talking about. I work in retail and it kills me everyday to see people rub their noses and chew mints in front of me. its so embarrassing, they often offer me mints as well. I've asked my sister and she says she doesn't notice it. My ex girlfriend noticed it occasionally. and I know that the degree of the smell fluctuates but I can't tell when it is worse or better. i notice that it feels a little better after i eat non- smelling foods because it gets my mouth saliva flowing but then sometimes customers seems like they back off more. I think a lot has to do with other peoples noses also, how sensitive they are to smells. and ccbbh, I've been there. this thing has gotten me so depressed at times i think about suicide also. i mean, this thing hinders my path to happiness. My last girlfriend hinted to me about how she liked nice smelling guys.(Harsh) I never talked about it with her because we never grew that close. Sadly , we broke up, and she never really gave me a reason. I've come to the conclusion to not date until I can minimize this smell somewhat because otherwise I'm just teasing myself with relationships. I think we need to keep the lines of communication open between all of us. Not just for new treatment ideas or diets, but for moral support as well. We will beat this guys! Honestly, the people on this forum is helping me maintain my sanity and gives me hope. i thank each & everyone of you. I left my email and aim on previous post if any of you guys need to contact me. So ccbbh, stay positive and keep your head up. Lets keep the post going guys.

Hi Everybody, I have never posted on here before but I want all of you to know that I suffer along with you. I first noticed it about 6-7yrs ago. Believe me I've had a lot of not so subtle hints from people. It truly is a socially crippling ailment. It is a very tough burden that we have to bear. It sounds as though the gluten free diet is worth a try..although I'll admit I don't have good discipline. Hopefully I can come up with a simple gluten free diet that will be fairly easy to maintain. btw Does raw honey and mollasses have the same effect as other forms of sugar? I want to let you guy's know that I really feel your pain. I sometimes feel as though it's a wretched little demon lodged in my throat/sinuses and if I could ever spew it out I would be cured. I know that probably sounds a little crazy..but when you realize how this thing breeds fear of rejection and totally destroys our self confidence it certainly seems evil.

you are what you eat. i really believe that everyone here if not at least 90 percent suffer from this because of a food allergy. glutten free is difficult but there are diabetics and other weird conditions that are way worse. besides going glutten free will make you lose weight too and make you a healthier person too so you will get rid of your drippy mucous breath and look and feel better. you should really fast for a few days and then see what that does then you will know for sure it is how your body reacts to foods. I do a meat and veggie diet that seems to be pretty good. bread and pasta are out and if I eat processed junk food like ho hos or twinkies that is when I get it really bad the next day. and again i'm going to preach the liver flushes as a good remedy to quckly clean you out if you cheat and eat the wrong foods.

Hi Cajual, Thanx for the reply. I agree with you on the fact that it is more then likely a diet issue. Unfortunately I'm like dreamweaver in the sense that I can't afford to lose any weight.

Castertroy, thanks for the encouragment. It never even occured to me that poor eating habbits can contribute to this horrible disease, I would have to admit that growing up as a young child I would eat what ever was given to me to eat..when I became an adult however I took certain measures, still not realizing I had BB just trying to eat better. I have started to eliminate foods such as breads an pastas since reading reading this forum..I guess yeast is a no no. currently I am staying away from dairy foods like, milk, cheese, cottage cheese, cream cheese..all which I absolutely love. Seems like I may have to give up everything I love. I have started on supplements like Grapefruit Seed Extract, Vit-c, Flora, even herbal tea. Any others ideas please feel free to share. I don't expect this to go away quick just to real about it. Let's continue to encourage one another, and share anything that may help us all, I know I will.

Maybe if we can somehow get this condition publicized to the media or the medical industry they will find some sort of cure. I think there is a cure and i really think that this condition we have is some sort diseased that they havn't made official yet or named. think about it, we all have the same symptons and the same ailment. What do you guys think? Is it possible that we can bring more attention to this condition to the medical field and how? Any ideas?

Hi Guy's, Has anyone had saliva tests done to check for chemical imbalances. My hands are pretty much tied as far as going to a Doc... I have no insurance and no job at present. If this disease is caused or agrivated by certain everyday foods then we need to get to the root of why our bodies have this reaction and address at that level rather then have this almost impossible diet.

One more thing.. I noticed that my problem started right after my divorce. I don't know if the stress may have caused a change in my body or if it was just a coincedence. One other thing that changed about me at that same time was that I had braces put on and they had to move my upper rear molars back..I don't know if that could be a factor or not. I noticed that other posters had wisdom teeth removed and also abcessed teeth removed and it didn't solve the problem. anyway, do any of you remember if there was a particularly stressful situation at the outset of your problem.

Harryjoy, I would agree that some causes could come from stress related issues. there have been plenty of things going on in my life to be stressed about for over 25 yrs. It could be possibly an immune system problem, there were some earlier posts that suggests the idea. If anyone can get to California, ther is a BB Center, and from what I read they can find out the problem, all you have to do is get there. They should have one on every corner if you ask me. Anyway lets stay postitive, let's stay as active as we can, we cannot not let this kill us, we will find something that works..Start Praying about this if you are not already.

Hello guys,

Its bit expensive but i have no choice left. Atleast i can meet halitosis expert. I am planning to go there in 15 days. I will disclose the more info if it would worth.

Has anyone got in contact with Shankarg the user about the Ayurvedic medicines that he gave his friend to use and it worked??? He left his email which is nrgshankar at hotmail.com & nrgshankar at yahoo.com. I send emails to both of them and he hasn’t response to neither. This is a urgent matter and anything anyone comes across that works needs to be shared, we’re all in this together.

Made In Dade last decade
I tried contacting Shankarg, I got no response either. Anyway I sure hope that everyone is hanging in there. I have been on natrual remedies such oil of oregano, grapefriut seed extract, flax oil, and other flora sources, I have also started to eat more lean meals such as fish(mostly) and chicken..I cheated a few times by eathing chinese rice and chicken and had a small portion of a spaghetti dish, so I have not been perfect. I still don't know if it has made a difference or not, I have no one that I can trust to ask, and I really would hate to pressure my children about it, they love me so much, I just hate to continue to embarrass them. I have been reading this and other forums and the one thing I realized about all of us is that we have wonderful lives, some of us are college students, some of us are in great professions already, some of us are mothers and wives, husbands, fathers, and we all want to rid this ugly thing that we lives with us everyday. Start praying about it if you have not started already.
