Thanks a lot Sameer. I gave it to him before bed, and I'll talk to you in a few days.

Hi Sameer. It's been four days since we gave him the second dose of Sil LM1.

This time has been a bit different. There was only a mild improvement in mood, and it didn't last. His mood has been up and down since, and it's even been noted at childcare, which is out of the ordinary.

For the first three nights, he slept better, but then last night he woke dozens of times during the night, and was quite disturbed. We don't know why.

On the second night, he began to develop a wet cough, and coughed a lot all through night, although it didn't wake him or seem to bother him. He's coughed a little bit since then, but not much. There are no other cold/virus signs.

He has a couple of little pimples on his upper lip and around his nose and this is consistent with some of the other times he's had silicea.

His eating, bowel movements and sweating are as usual.

We have noticed him pulling at or pressing his ears at times, but this is also not out of the ordinary.

A bit puzzling. What do you think?

Hi Sameer. It's been another three days and we've had some strong, positive improvements. Sleep has been less disturbed and longer (both day naps and during the night). His mood is fantastic. He's also eating better than usual. :-D

littlefinn last decade
Good, keep waiting.

Hi Sameer. Unfortunately things have been going downhill again. He's still eating well, but his mood has deteriorated a bit (not a lot), and his bowel movements are more firm than usual.

The biggest deterioration is once again his sleep. All week he has been waking several times during the night, seemingly for no reason, although he is as usual drinking a lot of water during the night - hard to tell what is habit and what is genuine need. We are all totally exhausted.

The other thing worth mentioning is that we have noticed on several nights that he appears to have some kind of nasal obstruction - it sounds dry and irritated. But have only seen mucus on one occasion (yesterday, during the day).

Look forward to hearing your advice.

Give 8 hard hits to the Helios LM1 bottle on the palm of your hand.

Then wait for 2 minutes.

Take out 2 drops of LM1 in 250 ml spring water, stir with spoon, and give a teaspoon ONCE.

sameervermani last decade
We did 8 hits last time didn't we? Can we do the same again?

littlefinn last decade
Yes, every time you sucuss you raise the dynamization of the LM1 bottle, and hence, every time the vital force receives a different potency.

Hi there i don't know if this will help. but when i was about 2 i used to get chronic ear aches and infections all the way through my childhood. the mucas in my ear was grenn and yellow and smelt like something had died, i went through eart drops and antibiotics right up until i went to an ear nose throat speciallist at 15 uears old who got me a cat scan and it was because i had a tumour that all this happened but i had it from a baby age, it was called a cholesteatoma. it gave me massive head aches until i couldn't bear the pain any longer i'd cry, but i had and op that removed it and have been clear of it ever since almost 10 years now and it hasn't come back thank GOD but please don't think like my mother and just keep feeind your child these medications, because had it not been for my third cousin taking me to the specialist i would be dead as it puts preasure and fluid on the brain causing a cerebal hemmorage, and once they removed it it was larger than they thought and said if they didn't remove it when they did i would've been dead within six months. i'm not sying your child has it and i pray to god he doesn't but i thought i'd let you know that this does exist so your aware it could be something more serious than just an ear infection. hope this helps good luck chantel:)

'bornagainchristian', thank you for your concern, but you probably didn't notice this thread spans nearly 18 months. My son is almost two and a half now, and Sameer's homeopathic treatment has helped him tremendously. This is a forum for people interested in homeopathy. I have turned my back on regular medicine, and that includes things like bonjela and other suppressive medicines. Maybe you should do some more reading about homeopathy, you might find yourself inspired by what it can do.

Hi again Sameer. We have just noticed that he has a molar cutting through his gum on the bottom left. This would probably explain the restlessness at night time. I can't quite tell if there are any more, but they are probably all imminent. Does this change anything?

littlefinn last decade
I think you can still go ahead with the Silica dose.

sameervermani last decade
Ok, good stuff. Talk soon.

littlefinn last decade
Hi Sameer. It's been 4 days since the third silicea LM1 dose. Unfortunately we've noticed little, if any, change in him this time. Today there is some sign of discharges from his eyes and some pimples on his body, so perhaps the change is still to come.

littlefinn last decade
That is fine.

Let us wait for a few days.

sameervermani last decade
Hi Sameer! I hope you are well. Wow, it's been nearly a month! Hard to believe! We have been on holidays and very busy, so I haven't really had an opportunity to post.

Things have been going reasonably well. He settled a bit about a week after my last update, and has been sleeping better since then. He is waking up very early in the morning tho, and has been for about 6 weeks now. I don't know if there is something wrong that is stopping him from going back to sleep at that time, or he is just needing less sleep at the moment. He's never been in a pattern like that for so long before.

He's been a bit unsettled overnight for the last 2-3 nights, and I suspect another of his molars is on it's way, since he has been a bit hot and flushed at times, and had some messy bowel movements also.

littlefinn last decade
Hi again Sameer. His sleeping is becoming more disturbed now, and he is far more upset after his nap than we've seen in a while. We do think it's a molar coming, but should we give him another dose of LM1?

littlefinn last decade
Do you have LM2 with you ?

sameervermani last decade
Yes!

That said, he slept quite soundly last night - first time in a few days. How do we work this out?

littlefinn last decade
Let us watch for another night then and see if he sleeps well now.

sameervermani last decade
Ok, because I guess the thing is that I'm pretty sure he is disturbed purely due to the molar, and if we can get through it without having to disrupt anything, then all is good. He is doing really well otherwise and from everything we can tell the glue ear has cleared up for now.

littlefinn last decade
Hi Sameer. All is pretty good on the sleep front. He has even readjusted his body clock and is sleeping 12 hours again overnight, for about the last 5 nights, which is great.

One thing we have noticed though, which is a concern, is that he has a night cough. I think it's been going on for about a week. There is no sign of a cough during the day, but overnight he seems to have one or two periods of a lot of coughing. It might last for 30 minutes or so. He doesn't usually wake up from it. It's kind of a froggy, wet sounding cough, similar to every cough he's ever had.

I have no idea what's causing it.
