ANAL FISTULA- FISSURE

Hi
I have been operated once from an anal fistula but it seems to be recurrent every now and then. I also see a small fissure in the rectum linning which dosent heal since my operation and I belive, that because of that, I keep developing small abcess in the same perianal position. I have been told that silicea 6C + 30C can be of help along with ratania and peonia. Can anybody give me some advice? I also just got operated from two external hemorroids. Thank You very Much

The same problem of anal fissure started for me soon after the birth of my 1st child about 11 years ago. Was treated by different medicines to be used externally. Gels that would soften the area. But the problem persisted. It was not piles but fissure.
I would be constipated say, for a day, then the following morning I would sense a wound while passing stool, and see a little blood. After resorting to some external treatment, eating fybogel etc,the cut would heal in a few days and I would be ok. But it would recur, sometimes after a month, sometimes after 3. Usually when I would be on holiday, when my diet would change.
I was reluctant to go for surgery as I was told that it might not solve it completely. Met a homeopath who prescribed Arnica 30+Silicea 30 3 times a day, the day I first noticed bleeding. Also Calc. Flour 200 once a week.
The bleeding persisted on and off, but it would get better each time I took the medicines. Sometimes I was not regular and then it would come back.
I still have this condition, but its much better.I realised it also occurs very close to the time the period is about to start. I try to pre empt and take Arnica+Silicea and it works. So far I haven't been able to cure myself completely, but thought this info might help.

I am glad to note that your Homeopath advised you to take Arnica 30 and Silicea 30 3 times daily. You also state that you had noticed an improvement but that you do not take the remedies regularly.

I have used Arnica 30 successfully for Fistula and it seems to help by increasing the blood flow to the affected area which I have also noticed seems to occur in the case of Eczema and Cellulitis which are cured by use of the remedy in about 3 months after commencement of the therapy. In the case of Cellulitis this ailment has to be treated with antibiotics first and the Arnica then prevents any recurrence of this problem which is what usually occurs in the case of senior citizens especially if they also have Diabetes.

I would suggest that you use Arnica 30c twice daily in the Split Dose which is made up as follows:

Get a 500ml bottle of spring water
Pour out 100ml or about an inch of water to ensure some air space on top.
Put in 3 globules Arnica 30c or 1 drop if you have the liquid remedy.
Hit the bottle hard on your palm or a cushion and watch for the water to fizzle like when you open a bottls of soda.
Sip a teaspoonful twice daily with the last dose taken just before sleep.

Please report progress in a week if you decide to use this therapy.

I had the surgery for a fistula/fissure/vessel gone awry earlier this morning.

I had it performed by a very good MD in a excellent facility. The surgeon used a scalpel, electrical corterizer, a special op table, a non-invasive tool thing, and his experience.

The operation took 30 minutes. I was able to walk around without any discomfort after 6 hours. Discomfort meaning that I can feel that something was done. There was no pain, I could just tell that something was worked on. I wasn't/am not on pain killers. They gave me a vicadin prescription that I didn't fill. I'm not beign a gung ho idiot, I just don't have pain. No pain killers were fed intravenously except the old mother's milk standby during the surgery.

He used underlying/intradermal dissolvable stitching with some non-invasive tool(don't know the name)and there is no bleeding/drainage/etc.
There is no bruising that I can detect. There is no discomfort except for the fact that I have stiches.

In regards to recurrence of symptoms, the MD was well aware of that and said he would/and did cut 2 muscles to loosen the pathway so that it would heal properly- regardless of what the diagnosis was of the problem. Seems that you can't heal a scar when you keep crushing it repeatedly, so I followed the logic and said go right ahead.

Here is what happened to me pre-op- just for posterities sake:

In preparation for the surgery, before the midnight mark of no eating or drinking the day before, I took about 4 grams of vitamins called Nature's Plus Source of Life. Went to sleep. Went to surgery. Got out and took 6 grams of vitamins along with Nature's Plus Source of Life liquid. Also ate some protein (fish/pork) and fruit. Went to bed for 6 hours. Took a hot bath. And some time later here I am. I noticed a difference as soon as I woke up. Normally, when you take doses of vitamins like that you pee out the excess(Vit C for example), and you can tell because it makes the resulting pee very yellow. I didn't have that after I woke, but I knew where it went. I could not tell that I had surgery after that point by just standing/sitting/walking up stairs/etc. The discomfort- feeling that I had stitches- was gone.

The reason why I mention that particular brand of vitamin is that it's not refined vitamins you see as white/coloered/etc at the local grocery, but actual plants that are concentrated/dried and absorbed very quickly. The vitamins are 1 gram and green. Not pretty, but damn do they work. I'm not a salesmen, but these vitamins work better than anything else in the USA- so I'm sharing.

So, at this time I have no discomfort nor can I detect that I've had surgery without physically palpating the area that was worked on.

I plan on going to work tommorrow morning. Many of you are saying that I'm insane(wait till later), and typically that would be correct. And since it isn't the future yet, you may be correct. But I've done this before with other wounds. Results are typical and measurable.

With the combo of non-invasive surgery, preparation, and fuel to repair the wound rapidly I think it'll probably be the best I've felt since I've had this condition. Honestly, I'm so freaking happy right now I can hardly stand it. And no, I'm not on drugs. The pain is gone.

If you want info on the facility/MD that did this work you can email me for his contact information. The hospital where he performed this is brand new and in the top rated city(US News) in the US.

I know people saying that they are doing well doesn't immediately help those that aren't. I just wanted to describe why I'm doing well.

To the folks that aren't healing properly- did the surgeon cut the muscles to allow for healing? Did you just eat normal everyday food after they cut a hole in you and stitched you up?

Different people have differenct severities of problems, most of them cascade off from a single point that went wrong- like a hemmoroid. My severity was that I was bleeding every day. If I used regular toilet paper- it's guarenteed to bleed. A wet cloth/wetnap thing would be a 50/50 chance. I would get toxic due to the open would and the bacteria mixing into my blood stream. Pretty gross huh? Yea, so that was where I was.

In any case, I just wanted to share what I did. The future is never certain. But luck favors the well prepared. I wish you all the best in solving this problem.

PS- I found out that half of the nurses in the office had the same operation. Is this a sign of the times? Stress everywhere- bad diet? It's just bizarre.

I had fistulectomy in March this year. A new abscess developed after that, just outside the butt hole. Surgeon was too happy to do a 2nd op on me but I said God No!!! I tried Tea Tree Oil in July and it sort of burst,,, and drained a yellow pus till now. When i use a miror to look at it, it looks like a crater, ulcer? And still draining. Why??? What would be the best combination of cures for me. I am really dying for one,,,,HELP....

I am copying below my post which you will see at the top of this thread where I recommend the use of Arnica 30c to help heal the wound caused by the surgery. The Arnica also seems to help in preventing the recurrence of fistulas after the first was surgically treated.
